Brilliant, will be back
Really good afternoon! Fun and informative, Mikey was a fab host! Loved the tastings!
Brilliant day out - staff incredibly helpful and great service.
Great feel to the venue even though it was quite quiet - but a lunchtime in January! Both had burgers. Nice and moist and tasty. Good garnish and amazing triple cooked chips. Both had pints of Tiny IPA which was really tasty for 2.8%. Helpful, friendly staff and an all round good place!
Took my 80 year old grandad for the brewery tour and he really enjoyed it. The lady who greeted us when we came in was lovely and chatted to my grandad for a bit which was lovely. The tour was great and good value for money.
My only issue was that I'd reserved a table via Open Table but despite the booking (and me calling the day before to confirm the booking) you didn't have my reservation.
Booked the tour for my husband and my daughters partner as an extra Christmas present. They both thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the beer! Kept on about his good it was. Would be happy to recommend it.
Excellent venue, food, staff and service.
Small plates were very good for lunch for 4 of us meeting up in Liverpool. Had not been before but really enjoyed the Bar & Kitchen. Gin & Tonic sausages were really tasty, Buttermilk Chicken with Chilli Jam was a bit as was the buffalo cauliflower and we enjoyed the fishcakes. The chips were fantastic. Merchant Navy gin aperitifs and two beer boards focused on the Love Lane range showed a good range of flavours. Only problem was we were short of time - would have been nice to linger longer as the atmosphere was really relaxing and just festive enough!
Thank you so much for making out group so welcome.
First visit was for Sunday lunch and I reckon we have found a hidden gem. So cool to eat next to a distillery and a brewery. The food - Veg cooked perfectly - great gravy and both enjoyed the beef followed by Sticky toffee pudding. Had some time before our train south so we then a few pints of Love Lane at the bar. DDH rounded off the afternoon nicely! Good spot and will return when back in Liverpool for a conference in 2020.
Thought the food was really tasty. Soup and sandwich deal was decent and I had the chicken burger which I really enjoyed. The chips were exceptionally nice and we loved the Love Lane Pale Ale which was the first time we had had it on draft. Great space and the staff went out of their way to make us welcome which was nice. Bought a bottle of Merchant Navy gin on the way out after they let me have a wee sample.
Great beers and food with friendly staff. Not many people in when we were there - about 1/2 full but had a good atmosphere. Love the sausage rolls and the fishcakes.
Chicken supreme and gin and tonic sorbet really good. Lots of choice on the menu. Large Marshmallow G&T’s lovely. Good staff and music ok too. Really enjoyed the experience.
5 guests from Perth, Australia, 4 of which were vegetarian. They loved the place (table next to the brewery / distillery) and we had a great lunch. (Loved the cauliflower) Tiny IPA was a lunchtime hit and everyone loved the chips. The plant burger got positive comments. The buttermilk chicken was good with both chilli jam and buffalo and also worked well as the chicken burger. Chicken supreme was a nice dish. Good friendly staff.
Very convivial business lunch. We went with small plates and the gin and tonic sausages were interesting - but we agreed the buttermilk chicken with buffalo sauce was probably our favourite and the chips were awesome! Friendly staff too. Looked like a good array of beers but we were on sparkling water! Maybe next time!
Had a Christmas party and meeting at LL last week and wow we have a good time. The mezzaine is such a nice space and worked perfectly for us. Service was great, food was superb and beer was tasty! No complaints at all, this bar is a hidden gem. Graham
Great beers, atmosphere and place.
The staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating throughout our experience! Due to the match, we were struggling to find a taxi so we ended up being 45 minutes late. Some of our party turned up on time and held the table. I phoned up ahead to tell staff that we were going to be late and the lady was absolutely lovely and understanding. When we arrived, the only downside was the volume of the music as it was too loud to the point where we couldn’t hear each other and this was at 17.00. We moved tables into a quieter corner which the staff were great about. Our group of 8 old friends and 3 dogs had our own “Friendsmas” with games and present giving. We had food & drink and the staff are a wonderful credit to Love Lane Brewery. We were looking at other places prior to booking here and they were all requesting hundreds of pounds for a deposit. Love Lane Brewery was a free reservation, we were there for 5 hours with no limited time so we were able to fully enjoy ourselves, the food and drink were delicious and the dogs were safe and happy there. Thank you so very much from all of us!
We have set the bar high after having our team Christmas party with you! Brilliant service. Amazing food. Boss beer. Thank you. Highly Recommended.
Fabulous! Really lovely food and excellent drink - staff al very accommodating and very knowledgeable.
Food spot on, drink spot on, staff spot on. Thank you!
Bulk coffee on arrival would have prevented us starting 20 minutes late and knocking the whole day over time.
Our first visit - very enjoyable, will be back!
Last time I visited I thought the burger was good but it was much better this time. The chips were just as good and I really liked the Red Rye Pale Ale. My pals all had a selection of small plates and samplers of beer and washed them down with a Glenfarclas whisky each. Consensus was when are we going back...?
