I find the coffee and cakes here fantastic, but expensive. Wouldn't bring the kids along for that reason. However, just enjoyed our first ever Nepalese vegan meal. Fabulous. Price fair - but definitely a birthday treat rather than a weekly one!
Lovely neighbourhood cafe- we had a delicious brunch here. Great vibe! Delicious food and really wide range of options on the menu.
Great brunch menu and friendly service. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing nepalese food. Great menu with good variety. Good portion sizes. Loved the wine and cocktail list. Really friendly staff. Will come again. We've already recommended to our friends and family!
Had a great Sunday brunch here. Every part of the experience was fantastic. Would strongly recommend this to anyone.
Love this place! Has it all - yummy food, great atmosphere, lovely staff - will keep coming back and would highly recommend.
Very good food as always.
My espresso martini was a little too cold but otherwise everything was super tasty!
Always a lovely place to visit, with great guest chefs
Great food and atmosphere
Louie Louie is just the best local independent restaurant, it’s chefs and food change regularly so there’s always something new and delicious to try
We had a lovely evening and really enjoyed the okonomyaki.
Everything was brill. Food amazing, mushrooms on toast were the best mushrooms on toast I've ever had! The only thing I would say, as it got a little busy I think the waitress towards the end of our booking forgot our banana bread as it took a little longer than expected to arrive. Also I think you can half the amount of almond butter on the banana bread, it's tasty but doesn't need so much!
Chris and the waiting staff are lovely, although I was asked ‘how vegan are you’ as if it were a scale. The rotating menu is a really interesting idea, and definitely gives a reason to go back (I’ve been twice in 3 months). Although able to accommodate and adapt, there was only 1 vegan main option this time, but that’s unfortunately true of many restaurants. That said, Louie Louie is a perfect date-night restaurant, and I wish you guys were closer to Elephant park!
Thanks Taj. As mentioned we will be serving a 100% vegan Nepalese menu in the evenings from Friday 3 January until Sat 16 Feb 2020
Totally delicious food. We’ll be back before Fumio finishes his residency there. Thank you!
Never had a bad meal / dish yet This was no exception in fact it was delightful!
Love it here - there is a sense of freedom here. Order how / what / when you want to. The ‘house’ red is delicious. Always have a relaxed, happy evening. Love the modern styling. New member of staff on Thursday night - attentive, efficient, hi-yes-whatever-you-want kind of people. So thanks again - especially to Tom.
Klose & Soan at Louie Louie = one of the best meals you can have in London. Absolutely delectable. Cosy restaurant, friendly service, incredible food. Even my husband (who is Italian and maintains the highest level of food snobbery of anyone I know) said it was "good" - literally equivalent to a Michelin star. We used to live in the area and ran back as soon as we heard K&S were visiting. We really should try the other visiting chefs at Louie Louie if this meal was anything to go on!
Thank you for a llovely evening at Louie Louie. Great ambience and music at perfect sound level, lovely waitress, amazing food, wine and delicious cocktails. I love the klose & Soan residency and pasta Monday deal is extremely good value for money..would and will highly recommend to others.
Came in for a delicious brunch, served very quickly! Would recommend.
Delightful as ever. Beautifully organised. Delicious food and coffee. Prompt and friendly service. Thank you!
We went to Taco Wednesday last week - the spicy chicken tacos were fantastic, the best thing. The fish taco, was not a taco (as in corn or wheat) but felt like the fish was put into a thin piece of white bread. Very weird, as the filling inside was super tasty. And sorry to say, the aubergine dish was way too salty and we couldn't eat it. Generally though great food and service and a delight to have something like this on the Walworth Road!
Great down to earth brunch place with a contemporary menu that adds a delightful twist to some typical weekend brunch items. Amazing value for money by London standards. Excellent coffee. Whatever you order, if you still feel a bit peckish, try the banana bread with housemade almond butter.
Delicious food and very efficient service. The hash brunch was lovely.
Had no idea New Zealand grilled/bbq food was a thing & we’re bowled over by how utterly delicious it all was. Cocktails were also brilliant twists on the classics. The Up All Night was especially good (we’re espresso martini snobs). We’ll be back!
