Really nice food and lovely atmosphere!
Absolutely fantastic, food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be returning.
Excellent service and food - will be back
Lovely food, delicious cocktails and polite staff. Overall amazing experience
Only disappointment was I couldn't get a coffee/hot drink. This is nice after a meal and now it's getting colder don't always want cold drink or an alcoholic drink. Hope this changes soon.
We are from Leicester. My GF saw your Instagram account and loved the food pics so I booked for the Saturday evening dinner and the Sunday noon lunch and we stayed at the Stables at the Vale hotel locally. 300 miles round trip to visit you. Steak cooked perfectly, great presentation. I had to go and ask after 15 mins of not being asked for drinks order from sitting down. This was possibly due to our table being the one squashed in behind the interior wall towards the back? (out of sight, out of mind?) We really enjoyed the food, I would recommend to anybody living locally
The food was outstanding and I will be visiting again soon. Little bits of service such as no salt & pepper on the table & not being asked if we wanted any condiments or a second drink prevented me from giving the restaurant 5 stars for everything!
The place itself is a great little hidden away venue, food was very tasty, chefs cooking skills were far better than his singing/vocal skills.. would like to return to try one of the house special sharing platters..
We had a lovely meal, the steak was cooked perfectly. We did find it a little squashed, the place could do with being double the size. This wouldn't put us off coming again tho...Thanks for a lovely night
Food was excellent ! Husband and I had the Wagyu steak and it cut like butter. Our son and his girlfriend had the Big Bad Butcher sharer which looked out of this world and according to them tasted amazing ! Lovely relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff .
Food was amazing!
Fantastic food and brilliant staff.
Food was delicious
It was a fun experience. Food was excellent. Loved the amount of sharing platters to choose from. Staff were brilliant too. Will definitely be back soon!
Great food, service if a tad expensive.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly, food was lovely and with brilliant live music it made for a brilliant atmosphere.
Cleaning products left out on table, really slow service - had to ask to order after about 20 minutes with only 3 tables seated. Food was nice, just let down by the service.
The only thing I would comment on is that we only found out that it was cash only on arrival, so we it might be worth putting this on the website so people are prepared in advance. Also we found the music a bit loud but was kindly turned down on request. We had originally wanted to try the Sunday lunch menu but were told that it finished at 3.30, so again if this was on the website it would have helped. Overall we really enjoyed our meals and had a pleasant evening.
It was our first visit but definitely won't be our last, food was delicious and good service too
We really enjoyed our food and drinks. The service was fabulous. Looking guests to returning.
This restaurant has set it's price point high, pitting itself against some of the best known fine dining establishments in the area and it lives up to all expectations.
The food was amazing and we can’t wait to visit again.
Meat was phenomenal.
