Service great food lovely 😁
The whole experience is just 1st class from arrival , the girls at reception are very pleasant ,helpful ,and make you really welcome , the spa treatment is absolutely wonderful again you are given a warm welcome and made to feel totally relaxed and that's before any treatment or massage which is just excellent it just eases any stresses or aches and pains that you have . The bar staff are great they continue to make you feel at ease and relaxed , the dining staff are very pleasant and very helpful nothing is a problem and again the theme of relaxation is at the forefront , then there is the food which is absolutely delicious , the presentation is wonderful you will want to come back again , the room was lovely , very spacious , the bed was so comfortable and spotless , it was and will be again a truly enjoyable stay .
Starters were very nice, had the scallop and king prawn dish and boyfriend had the pate. Main course however, I had the monkfish with the couscous and coconut sauce. Very small portion of monkish which was a bit overcooked. Sauce didn't taste of coconut at all, was a sickly rich buttery sauce which seemed quite out of place. Couscous was a big lump all stuck together. Not impressed with it at all and sadly disappointed as heard such good things.
Really enjoyed our dinner here, the food was amazing quality and the service was great - both would have received 5 stars if it wasn't for a couple of small issues. My partner and I both received our desserts with some changes made in comparison to the menu, not a big deal really but if we were informed of this on choosing our dessert, we both would have changed our order. No member of staff informed us of the substitutions or apologised for the changes, which is a little disappointing. All in all, minor issues in comparison to the amazing food, breathtaking scenery and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!
Everything was great!
Excellent service & quality
Very pleasent staff
My Husband & I Went For A Meal on Saturday , Food Was Amazing & Service Outstanding from Ross & Mark , Will Be Back Very Soon !
First visit but left with a really nice impression. Restaurant was very quiet when we arrived but did get busier. Food was good and the service was excellent.
My dinner was 10 times better than it was last time I was there. And even then it was lovely. Can't wait to get married in this venue and show it off to all my friends and family 👍🍽
We had a lovely relaxing visit to the Lochside. We love coming here. It is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff are so hard working, pleasant and friendly. We were upgraded from a Garden Suite to the Lowes Suite which was a lovely surprise and absolutely beautiful. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and have never had a bad meal here. Portion sizes are large and food delicious. Drinks are a little pricey. Disappointed that they didn’t have my drink of choice this time. No Southern Comfort? My only criticism is that two people were allowed into the restaurant wearing football tops/colours. Not really acceptable for a hotel of this calibre. Otherwise a visit here is a must.
Good location great food staff very helpfull spa facilities excellant had a great time views were magnificent will be going back in the near future
Lovely evening nice atmosphere and good food
Had a great stay. Thanks. The staff are lovely. All very helpful. Fab food , fab cocktails and a beautiful lodge.
Lovely food and drinks, great service.
Had a Fabulous time with the spa package with overnight stay as this was our third time with the summer package. from start to finish The food and customer service from all staff was second to none and highly recommend to all. Excellent value for money.
Good was good bit disappointed in sweet peach pavlova only couple of tinned peaches at side no real cream and not a home made meringue
Staff were very welcoming and service was great.
Everything was excellent - the room, the food and the spa. See you again soon!
Dined in the restaurant during an overnight stay. Food was 10/10 and the service was great too. The scallops and king prawns were to die for and the salmon main was just fantastic!
The extra sweet was delicious and so unexpected.
Lovely afternoon tea, nothing was too much trouble.
Lovely meal, lovely staff!
I brought my mum for her 71st birthday. We had a lovely spa experience. We were booked in to the restaurant for a meal which took us 2.5 hours to have due to the shockingly slow service. Breakfast in the morning was pretty much the same. There were new staff on the floor but they were hesitant and unsure of the package were staying at the hotel on and didn’t give the correct menus despite me having all the information as I previously asked when I can for an afternoon drink. I have been to the hotel many many times and enjoy it a lot on this occasion I felt you have definitely lowered your standards/quality of service as I heard other tables complaining excessively to numerous members of staff. The room we had 26 looked like it had perhaps suffered from water damaged round the wood at wardrobe and facings in the bathroom. When I booked I mentioned my mums birthday to be offered added extras they didn’t even note it on the booking to wish her a happy birthday on her arrival which is what I was actually looking for. The food was good but the overall experience wasn’t as good due to the service or lack of.
Great food and friendly staff.
