Lovely food friendly staff amazing setting
Have never had a bad experience here
Fabulous top quality food & excellent customer service!
Afternoon tea was beautiful. Only bad point was the scones were burnt, hidden by dusting sugar, couldn't cut in half and nearly broke a tooth trying to bite into due to them being rock hard. Would return but hopefully scones are soft!
Great food in a great location
Great food & super service ! Staff all very pleasant & quick service Will definitely recommend this place to eat A big thumbs up 👍
Can not fault anything
Lovely night but restaurant was a bit cold. Service and food excellent
The waiting staff were most efficient and exceptionally pleasant. The young girl who greeted us then served us breakfast was delightful and very cheery.Nothing was too much trouble for any of the waiting staff and we witnessed them chatting and spending time with all the customers
Had a lovely stay at the hotel, Was a spa break deal and was very good value for money. The staff in the restaurant were lovely. Friendly and efficient. Our dinner and breakfast were the best iv had in a wee while. Will definitely be back.
Food an service was excellent .
First time dining at the Afton Restaurant. Food was amazing and was cooked to perfection. Would return with my family as was there for a spa and overnight with my sister in law.
Table situation terrible even though booked weeks ago. Waited for nearly an hour for our meal to arrive, told kitchen was busy! Given wrong menu for desserts even though we had started our meal with the 'daily specials'. Staffing seemed inadequate.
Fab staff , service and food was amazing! Had a great meal with my mum
Got married in Lochside 15 years ago and been back regularly for over night stays and meals. Never been disappointed.
Marked down for food as a couple of our meals were not good. Fish overcooked and sauce that was a bit tasteless.
We ate three times in the restaurant and had no problems at all, the staff were friendly and efficient, the food was very good, no complaints at all
Staff were very nice and attentive, food was delicious and value for money couldn’t fault anything
Service was quick. As if they wanted you finished ASAP. Would be nice if seating area was at the bar rather than behind
Excellent service from all the staff. Good choice on the menu. My husband was disappointed they had run out of lamb casserole however he had that following night as we were staying two nights. The food was excellent and all staff in the restaurant and bar provided service with a smile.
Food and service very good. Excellent stay.
