About Loch Lomond Arms Hotel
At the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel, food and drink are our passions. Our menus, under the direction of Head Chef David Hetherington, reflect the wonderful natural bounty of the Scottish Highlands. Seasonal vegetables, fruit and aromatic herbs are grown in our home garden; black-faced lamb, pheasant and venison are sourced from the surrounding hills; and salmon is fresh from the nearby sea lochs. Our drinks menu has been carefully developed to offer perfect partnerships with our delicious food and includes hand-pulled craft ales from the Loch Lomond Brewery alongside an enviable wine selection.
Brilliant service and quality of food excellent!
Fab food and service as always!
Brilliant food and staff and happy to be back at our wedding venue on our anniversary
The new outdoor menu was fab! I had the Hot Smoked Salmon salad and it was great!! Service was perfect!
As always - wonderful food and lovely friendly staff. It was great to be back!!
Really,Friendly, helpfully & efficient staff & good atmosphere
Was a bit concerned of public places after lockdown. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and were really observant of social distancing measures. Felt really secure because of measures that had been taken. An extra bonus of being dog friendly.
My family and I were so impressed at how well prepared you were regard Covid restrictions. Food was delicious and service was spot on. My in-laws said they would definitely come back. Grass area outside beer garden was perfect for our puppy to play in too. Very happy customer and will definitely be back.
Well managed socially distanced dining experience. Staff well trained and attentive.
Visited on the first day of the new “beer garden” - great meal out. Lovely atmosphere despite everyone (customers) finding their feet with the new post COVID-19 rules and regulations. Staff were all courteous and respectful, greeting and paying for food was done with ease. Thank you for creating a relaxing and enjoyable experience out. Food was delicious too looking forward to another trip soon - maybe when the menu is expanded.
The restaurant accommodated our party of 15 and served us a delicious lunch
Lovely place, staff were attentive and superb service, food was lovely .. would definitely come back and recommend
A little disappointing, as I had been so looking forward to our visit. No special table reserved for us, yet it was for others. Both mussels and Oysters were off the menu, again. Starter of Bread and olives was odd - half a loaf of bread, and only a handful of olives. Burger was unremarkable. Bill was £72 for two courses for two people. Pricey for an unremarkable meal. I had hoped for so much more.
Fantastic meal in lovely cosy surroundings. Thanks!
The food and service was lovely. Thank yo
excellent dinner and location
Really enjoyed our stay at your lovely hotel . Stylish but relaxed and comfortable ambience. Friendly helpful staff , lovely foods , wines and beers.
Very peppery steak. Chips were over salted but replacement given and taken off bill
Staffing issues due to 'event' on. Food, table quality and service was a disaster from start to finish. Felt sorry for staff but awful customer experience due to the event taking over. Dreadful food, and anyone not involved in event were ignored. A disgrace and embarrassment for your hotel. Can't actually believe we had to pay the whole bill, but that really sums up the attitude of the hotel to customers.
Delicious afternoon tea. Great selection of sandwiches, savouries, scones and cakes.
Your wine prices are ridiculous. As someone who lives in France part of the year I can say this with some confidence.
Fabulous venue, excellent staff, delicious food.
Sadly the food and service was not as good as last year. We wondered whether the award winning chef had left. We had to ask several times for different things from the waiting staff. The broccoli was undercooked and the pate wasn’t quite right, according to mum and dad in law. However the lamb burger, cauliflower soup and mussels were awesome. So in summary a bit hit and miss.
