Amazing venue, food and service. Stayed on what should have been our wedding day and couldn't find a fault from the moment we walked into reception. Food was delicious and looked beautiful
Could not fault - this was our first visit to a hotel/restaurant/pub since early March so prior to our visit we were a little apprehensive. However upon arrival it was obvious you had taken every precaution possible so thank you for a most enjoyable dining experience. Will certainly return so thanks again and good luck through these difficult times.
This was our first lunch outside of our home in months, and we had a great time. Lovely lunch, friendly staff, good surroundings and everything managed very well in terms of Covid. We'll be back, and we'll be recommending Llechwen Hall to others - it's a real find, and really close to home too!
Very good .
Service food atmosphere and whole experience was fabulous- will definitely come back ! Thanks
Have visited many times and always had excellent service and food. Will be returning soon.
Afternoon tea was very nice but more sandwiches and less cake would have been preferable.. Coffee was luke warm and had to request fresh supply. We had booked to stay overnight and booked a room for 3 people which we confirmed twice before arrival, but we're given a room for 2 people which resulted in us waiting a short while for a room to be made up. Evening meal was just OK as toast was burnt with pate and 2 of us ordered steak pie which had very hard pastry and undercooked meat and carrots with very little moisture.. Chips were delicious! We were unable to eat all the pie and did relay our disappointment with the waiter who did apologise and offered us a round of complimentary drinks. Our room was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean! Breakfast was delicious and served Iin our room due to COVID. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and the few problems we did encounter would certainly not stop us returning in the future! :)
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the afternoon tea was delicious. Would definitely recommend it to friends.
Fantastic to see Joe and the rest of the staff on Sunday. Highly recommend their Sunday lunch. Also felt safe in these troubled times
Absolutely amazing service and food. Excellent vegan courses too and fantastic value. Staff members were friendly and professional - can't wait to go back :)
Have no complaints at all the food was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again
Fantastic experience Thank you.
Great venue, amazing food and service. The safety measures were excellent and helped everyone feel comfortable.
Fab afternoon tea my only criticism is there should be more savouries too many cakes
It was great.
Gnocce could have had a side dish with it as small serving
Food is absolutely sensational. Would happily pay twice as much.
A really tasty afternoon tea with lovely service...very good value for money! Thank you
I can thoroughly recommend afternoon tea at the Llechwen Hall for anyone celebrating a special occasion. The food is simply stunning, the cakes literally melt in your mouth! The service is exceptional, you are taken care of really well. It is slightly restricted at the moment due to Covid laws, but this doesn’t detract from what is an excellent experience.
Me and my husband had our wedding anniversary here and although the food was ok for me I didnt feel like it really represented what I ordered ... I had the gnocchi which although was nice it was more like a fried potato cake than a gnocchi I've ever had ( the cheese sauce was lovely though). Similarly with the Eton mess it was basically a mixed berry mousse with a bit of meringue sprinkled on top again nice but not what i would had considered a Eton mess. My husband on the over hand had the burger which was half the size of the bun it arrived in with grease pouring out he ordered a side of garlic bread which was passable and onion rings which were still greasy and raw (I ended up eating the onion rings as I dont mind raw onion). Service was good staff friendly and chatty music was enjoyable also. We did also spend the night in one of their new superior room which was lovely and clean and we enjoyed our night, I'd happily recommend the hotel but probably not restaurant
A wonderful place to escape to, with excellent service even in the depths of a local lock-down!
Covid secure Both beef and lamb were a little disappointing in flavour
Amazing food and brilliant local lockdown experience!
I was blown away at the quality of the Sunday lunch menu and the value for money. Lovely location and will definitely be back.
