We booked the cream tea for 13. In the first instance we were given one pot of tea and one pot of coffee with I think two small jugs of milk. We had to wait for another pot of tea. This was completely inadequate. The milk ran out straight away. We waited and waited for more milk and more tea. In the end I had to go and make it clear that provision was not adequate. After this, more pots of tea and coffee, as well as milk, made an appearance. The food was ok although I found some of it very sweet. Also, it was all served in the conservatory which was lovely but some sort of blinds for the roof would have been nice as the sun was hitting some guests directly in the face. They did try and move the tables but it only helped for a while. Afterwards, we sat outside, the weather was beautiful and warm, so that was lovely. The hotel is located in a very nice place.
Lovely food and great service
Attended the Easter Sunday lunch which was delicious and plenty of choice. Views are amazing from dining area and the mini Easter egg hunt was a lovely bonus. Thank you for a fantastic afternoon
Lovely afternoon tea for my mum’s birthday. Would definitely go again.
Thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea! Everything was perfect, thank you.
Fantastic service, food and setting. Will definitely return.
Had an absolutely fab afternoon, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and efficient staff

Marie Wood Absolutely fantastic! Everything was perfect, the food was out of this world. The staff treat you like royalty, nothing was too much for them.
Absolutely stunning venue, with an amazing food, would definitely go again
All good. Lovely views!
Great food and service with lovely views accommodating staff. We were a mixed group of 7 and they did individual bills for us. Will be returning. Presentation of food very good. lovely setting!
The staff were excellent, as was the food. Enjoyed by all. Perfect atmosphere. Will most certainly attend again!
Outstanding food. My wife and I came for a meal on the 3/4. Excellent service for the waiter - Jarrod.
Came here last year and had a carvery it was amazing. Had afternoon tea this year but had a time limit so was a bit disappointed.
It was awful when I booked online noone said anything about the menu and it was for mothers day and my grandmother cant eat cheese and there was no variety of sandwiches it was awful for the price
Very nice, thank you.
Lovely afternoon tea, perfect cakes! Nice sandwiches but maybe need a couple more.
A very enjoyable lunch with excellent service from the time we arrived, had a great time !
Soft drinks are far to expensive, hence the poor marks for value
Lovely afternoon and we were looked after by the waitress. I requested no cream cheese sandwiches and to replace with egg when making the booking, but instead we had just cucumber sandwiches, which was a bit of a shock and disappointing.
A young gentleman (dark hair ) seen to us from start to finish , he was outstanding and an asset too your team , he made us feel very comfortable and welcome , I think he was very entertained by our children’s sense of humour and antics whilst dining as he did laugh a few times with them , this made us feel at ease and very comfortable , the food has always been amazing each time we have eaten here but this gentleman took our experience to an whole different level he was brilliant , please pass on this feedback to him , many thanks Lucy
Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon excellent service & food. Extremely welcoming & friendly.
