About Lina Stores
Lina Stores is opened its new pasta restaurant on 51 Greek Street in Soho this Spring with a menu inspired by the authentic ingredients from their Brewer Street deli with a focus on their signature fresh pasta, prosciutti, cheeses and antipasti. No Italian experience is complete without traditional wines and cocktails, and desserts, like our much-loved cannoli.
Absolutely delicious food!
We came first on 19th July, food fabulous but service terrible , but Friday last was a transformation. Great welcome and service, and the food perfect.
Really good meal and lovely service. Very noisy but not sure how you could change that. Can’t wait to return
Fantastic restaurant. We had a pre-show booking. Very quick service. Booking recommended.
Excellent service, excellent food, great atmosphere, great cocktails and best Italian dining experience I’ve had outside of Italy. The nduja and ricotta was to die for!
Lovely little place. Food very reasonably priced and very tasty.Small portions but that's good because you can eat 3 courses. Very buzzy and excellent service.
An excellent meal,I have been using the deli for years and think the restaurant is an amazing one, fantastic food and drink and great staff.
Delicious food and great service. Not too pricey either.
Fantasticc service and super friendly stafff - will definitely recommend to others
Our service was incredibly attentive and the food was some of the best I’ve tasted, particularly the Nduja and ricotta antipasti!
My new favourite place - excellent all round
Fantastic food and atmosphere in a very intimate environment. The food is simple and unpretentious with prices to match and their wine list, while not extensive, is again excellent and pairs very well with the majority of dishes. Italian tapas is the way forward and allows diners to taste the wonderful variety of food on offer from a country full of rich culture. Lina Stores has got the concept bang on! Loved it
Really fantastic. Italian colleague said it was the best pasta he has had in London, so there you have it!
Fantastic evening. Loved the food and the service. We will be back.
Love everything about this place. Will return!
More non meat options please esp pasta Less expensive drinks eg soft drinks and coffee would be appreciated
The food was gorgeous and the decor was beautiful. The service however was really imposing and made everyone in our group feel quite uncomfortable. First of all, we were 'up-sold' at every opportunity. We would be asked what we wanted and then when we ordered, the reply would be along the lines of 'you should look at this too'. I don't have a problem with servers giving advice but I think this should come before we order - e.g. when we sit down the server could offer a brief introduction of what's popular or their favourite dishes so that we could consider that when deciding, rather than after we've decided being pressured to order more food that we didn't need. The pasta is overpriced compared to Padella. Padella is the benchmark for excellent fresh pasta in London and the plain fact is that it is far better value. The dishes at Lina are small/tapas sized, but we were only told once our pasta arrived (we had already had a starter each) that the server didn't think this would be enough for us (which was also a bit condescending). If the dishes are small this should be made clear when ordering - if I'm paying £8-12 for pasta (a relatively cheap dish to make) when the starters are like £4-6, I expect it to be main-sized. The worst part of the experience was that we asked for gin & slimline tonics and were served double measures without being told. This not only increased the price considerably but also meant we had consumed a lot more alcohol than intended. I think this sort of thing could get the restaurant into bother, particularly for patrons who are driving. It is standard practice in London and all of the UK to serve a single measure, or to ask whether the patron wants a single or a double. I would strongly advise that Lina Stores adopt this practice to avoid a lot of unhappy customers and potential legal challenges. When we brought this up the servers were quite hostile - despite the fact we said we were happy to pay but just thought that they should consider this. Overall, the service meant that although the food was absolutely delicious, I probably wouldn't come here again because the experience was quite uncomfortable and I would rather go to Padella or Pastaio where the service is laid back and a lot less pushy - not to mention Padella in particular is much better value for money.
Delicious food; lovely restaurant, it was particularly special getting to sit around the kitchen area
Great food, loved everything about my experience.
The food is flat out amazing, and the staff are all perfectly charming, helpful and courteous. Tables are cramped, but for the price, it simply can’t be faulted.
Delicious food but SO noisy. Why on earth do you need music as well. Pity as we both thought it was excellent but wont be returning.
Relaxed atmosphere, fab service, utterly delicious and inventive food, yet simple Italian in the best way. Will return and return, no doubts. New fave restaurant
