About Liberty Tavern
Food in Liberty Tavern is a melting pot of recipes from colonial dining rooms of the 1890s, contemporary taverns and brasseries of the great metropolitan cities, BBQ pits of the deep south, crab-shacks, food trucks and diners the length and breadth of the USA. All our food is sourced from local food suppliers who have worked with us to produce the tastiest American plates. We thank them.
It was so easy to book a table online. We arrived at the restaurant and we were greeted by very friendly doormen. The excellent staff service continued with our waitress Erin. Food was excellent even our 5 year old loved it! Highly reccomend.
Great food and service.
All staff are very polite & helpful. Service was great & food was lovely. Well worth the money.
Food was amazing, Stephen was very attentive and the waitress Ella remembered our drinks each time we wanted a new round. Lovely atmosphere, food and drinks would recommend.
Starters come out and chicken wings were cold inside still indicating they had been warmed up. Sent back and replaced but Party member has to eat alone. Pasta dish nice but had absolutely no seasoning had to put some salt and pepper on. Wrong drinks order.
Really had a great time food and service fantastic will be back again soon
Food was excellent but would be nice to have a greater selection of cask ales in Liberty Tavern. Went to The Elephant next door to buy drinks (cask ales) which were delicious. Service staff were lovely.
Fantastic friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make our night. The food was really tasty and the portion size are huge. If you haven’t eaten here then your missing out.
Service was very slow on the food, despite the restaurant not being busy. Quality of food was poor to what it has been previously.
Excellent service and staff
Fantastic food, service, drinks and venue. Always very enjoyable
A few of us had the Sunday roast, the beef ,were asked how we wanted the beef gave this ,when roast arrived the beef was sliced we have had the beef roast before and the beef usually comes like a steak, still nice but not as good.
Amazing roast and service! Followed by after dinner drinks and live music, brilliant day, thank you!!
Server was great, starters were ok, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, sauce was very wet probably due to not draining the pasta enough, meatballs tasteless and only just cooked.
Wouldn’t rave about the restaurant, the drinks were fine.... the food was far to over priced for what it was... my chicken was really dry asked for garlic mayo and got sour cream??? £22 for a ribeye with the tiniest amount of fries and the prawns 3 over priced and over cooked shite! No conversation with the waitress apart from when we were paying the bill and you could tell she was doing that because she wanted a tip.
Really enjoyable as usual
My friends and I went for a catch up and had a really fun time in there. The service was good, the food was delicious and we would go back.
I have to say the food was excellent. We had a full rack of ribs and they were very very good. The liberty tavern continues to be my favourite place to eat in Liverpool, with friendly staff, good service and a relaxed atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back again for the ribs as soon as possible.
Waited over an hour for our food which was disappointing.
Service and food was great
