Absolutely amazing. Bought my mum a voucher for Christmas for afternoon tea and she loved it. Amazing selection & the champagne was lovely. The waiter, I think his name was Olly, was funny & made the experience so comfortable and enjoyable. Will be back in the summer!

Service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great although the menu was a bit confusing. The place was also a bit dim for afternoon tea, it would have been better if it was light and airy.

Hi, I couldn't help feeling that the afternoon tea was an unwelcome distraction for the staff who always seemed to be urgently disappearing off to attend to other more pressing duties. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, although I had the suspicion that it had been given away to a couple of 'walk-ins'. Our Champagne arrived promptly and then eventually our sandwiches which were absolutely delicious. But then we had an extraordinary wait for the cakes which preceded the tea by about 5 minutes or so but which was delivered without milk. We managed to find some that had been abandoned on a nearby table but it wasn't ideal.We took our time over everything but when we did eventually want to go we gave up waiting for our bill and just left. For what was scheduled as a 4pm start a 6pm finish was rather dragging it out a bit too long. If I hadn't been on the very reasonable 2 for 1 offer I would not have been happy, however I don't want to end on such a low note so will award top marks for the amazing scones.

Fantastic food, a great night had. Only issue was that a taxi was booked by the hotel and when we chased it up we were told someone else had taken it. It wasn’t a busy night, the desk should have been manned at all times so taxis can be given to those who had booked . Wouldn’t stop me re-visiting.

Food / sandwich had large piece of plastic in it. Once seated couldn’t fault service however there seemed to be no register of bookings.
