An airy gourmet bar nestled within the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, LeBar is uniquely designed after 19th century Colonial Pavilion. Overlooking the resort’s
33 meters pool, the sun-washed bar serves as a perfect spot for idle afternoons or for ladies to enjoy a tètè-a-tètè with friends and family. By night, the dark timber furniture set a luxurious atmosphere as LeBar transforms into a glamorous alfresco bar overlooking glistening waters under the stars.
It was unfortunate that physical spaces were rearranged and large objects were moved amidst our dining in preparation for countdown evening. We would have appreciated if any one staff member could have mentioned that this was happening than for us to realise the staff and large objects moving around us. Not what i would have expected from a 5 star hotel.
Nice environment but it's open air non air-conditioning.
Fantastic customer service though the hi tea wasn’t up to expectation.
Relaxing restaurant for a weekend afternoon tea . Alex the service staff was enthusiastic and provided excellent service despite being only one running around the place to serve customer. Definitely deserve a compliment from us !
Nice environment but the place is too hot and humid. The new holiday season afternoon tea menu is too sweet...
A lot is rooms to be improved compared to those hotel high tea set or buffet in the city. The place itself is interesting but if the accommodation more decent it’ll be worth to come down all the way there just to enjoy High Tea culture.
Great service by staff.
My partner and I visited Le Bar last weekend and we had a splendid time! Ambience was calming and the service was remarkable. The bar manager always ensured that we were comfortable and came to check on us time to time. The high tea was tasty. We’d definitely visit again!
The free flow TWG tea option in menu is misleading, as you can only stick with the same tea. As compared to other restaurant where their "free flow" tea allows you to change from various tea and coffee options throughout the high tea period. On the other hand, I love the relaxing and serene atmosphere there. Good place to take a break. Seems to be understaffed during weekday high tea period, perhaps because it is low peak period. But i would expect a better service from Sofitel.
unique and lovely food presentation!
Good taste and atmosphere...
Beautiful setting for an amazing afternoon tea
The lady was showing a long face the whole afternoon , I don’t think she has answered me any question nor even nodding the head. She doesn’t match the atmosphere of a Sofitel at all. Great food but very disappointing service from her, luckily another waiter is showing the standard of service.
Great selections of cooktails and drinks. Love sitting by the fountain and let all my worries go by. Impeccable services especially from Hema.
Happy christmas high tea time!!
Fantastic service! Especially from Siva!
I had the tea set together with a friend at Sofitel's Le Bar on 5th December. However, we were utterly disappointed with the food that was served to us. The Jewel Box where the food was served in was dirty and we could see oil marks almost all over the areas where the food was served, as if it was not cleaned properly. As for the desserts that was served, the pastries (filling) all tasted similar - similar ingredients were used. They were either too sweet or too sour and since all the pastries tasted similar, it was almost impossible for us to find something that had another dimension of flavor. Despite the long waiting time (we waited for 30 minutes, 10 minutes more than what the service staff promised), the pastries did not taste like they were freshly baked - they were all dry and pancakes felt stale. Overall, it wasnt worth the money and I definitely would not recommend to my friends and family. Disappointing high tea experience even after driving in all the way to Sentosa. A very unhappy guest, Jewelle
I booked the afternoon tea for a Sunday with instructions for pregnancy-friendly substitutes but the message wasn't passed down to the restaurant. It's not a big issue but would appreciate better communication to the restaurant instead of requiring me to make an additional call to the hotel/restaurant to remind them. The place got crowded as we were ready to leave so we waited a while and still haven't received the bill. I had to make payment at the counter directly instead. Again, not a big deal, but would appreciate better manpower planning as I noticed other people having to wait to get a table/menu/place their order. Aside from these, food and atmosphere are nice, good for a relaxing afternoon.
We enjoyed every moment at Le Bar, food and presentation was fantastic and unique. Amazing service from Siva. Well done
Unfortunately, the items in the afternoon tea set are not appetizing.
Non air conditioned place
We had a great time at LeBar for our Sunday brunch/afternoon tea session. The high-tea set was exquisite and the pizza was a bonus to keep us very full. Service was value-added – the manager and staff made sure we were very well taken care of. It was a series of celebration for us; they prepared a nice cosy corner and top it off with complimentary chocolate cake and sparkles! The venue is exactly what we needed for a girls get-together – secluded, open space, natural air and not too crowded. Definitely highly recommended!
The food and atmosphere was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the scones and strawberry jam. The gin "tea" was perfect for a warm Singapore afternoon and Siva was a great host. The only minor criticism is the sale of bottled water and its impact on the environment. But otherwise a very nice afternoon
Ordered the afternoon gin + tea set
The kitchen was a bit slow. Generally the service is much slower than other hotels such as Fairmont and Swissotel. I ate at Kwee Zeen too as I was staying at the hotel for 1 night. Very slow service there too. I only got my ice lemon tea nearing the end of my meal. Waited 20 mins for the food too.
