An airy gourmet bar nestled within the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, LeBar is uniquely designed after 19th century Colonial Pavilion. Overlooking the resort’s
33 meters pool, the sun-washed bar serves as a perfect spot for idle afternoons or for ladies to enjoy a tètè-a-tètè with friends and family. By night, the dark timber furniture set a luxurious atmosphere as LeBar transforms into a glamorous alfresco bar overlooking glistening waters under the stars.
The lady was showing a long face the whole afternoon , I don’t think she has answered me any question nor even nodding the head. She doesn’t match the atmosphere of a Sofitel at all. Great food but very disappointing service from her, luckily another waiter is showing the standard of service.
Great selections of cooktails and drinks. Love sitting by the fountain and let all my worries go by. Impeccable services especially from Hema.
Happy christmas high tea time!!
Fantastic service! Especially from Siva!
I had the tea set together with a friend at Sofitel's Le Bar on 5th December. However, we were utterly disappointed with the food that was served to us. The Jewel Box where the food was served in was dirty and we could see oil marks almost all over the areas where the food was served, as if it was not cleaned properly. As for the desserts that was served, the pastries (filling) all tasted similar - similar ingredients were used. They were either too sweet or too sour and since all the pastries tasted similar, it was almost impossible for us to find something that had another dimension of flavor. Despite the long waiting time (we waited for 30 minutes, 10 minutes more than what the service staff promised), the pastries did not taste like they were freshly baked - they were all dry and pancakes felt stale. Overall, it wasnt worth the money and I definitely would not recommend to my friends and family. Disappointing high tea experience even after driving in all the way to Sentosa. A very unhappy guest, Jewelle
I booked the afternoon tea for a Sunday with instructions for pregnancy-friendly substitutes but the message wasn't passed down to the restaurant. It's not a big issue but would appreciate better communication to the restaurant instead of requiring me to make an additional call to the hotel/restaurant to remind them. The place got crowded as we were ready to leave so we waited a while and still haven't received the bill. I had to make payment at the counter directly instead. Again, not a big deal, but would appreciate better manpower planning as I noticed other people having to wait to get a table/menu/place their order. Aside from these, food and atmosphere are nice, good for a relaxing afternoon.
We enjoyed every moment at Le Bar, food and presentation was fantastic and unique. Amazing service from Siva. Well done
Unfortunately, the items in the afternoon tea set are not appetizing.
Non air conditioned place
We had a great time at LeBar for our Sunday brunch/afternoon tea session. The high-tea set was exquisite and the pizza was a bonus to keep us very full. Service was value-added – the manager and staff made sure we were very well taken care of. It was a series of celebration for us; they prepared a nice cosy corner and top it off with complimentary chocolate cake and sparkles! The venue is exactly what we needed for a girls get-together – secluded, open space, natural air and not too crowded. Definitely highly recommended!
The food and atmosphere was wonderful. We especially enjoyed the scones and strawberry jam. The gin "tea" was perfect for a warm Singapore afternoon and Siva was a great host. The only minor criticism is the sale of bottled water and its impact on the environment. But otherwise a very nice afternoon
Ordered the afternoon gin + tea set
The kitchen was a bit slow. Generally the service is much slower than other hotels such as Fairmont and Swissotel. I ate at Kwee Zeen too as I was staying at the hotel for 1 night. Very slow service there too. I only got my ice lemon tea nearing the end of my meal. Waited 20 mins for the food too.
The High Tea was excellent
Lovely setting, complimentary fish spa right beside LeBar was great fun. Presentation of food in jewel box is great. Didn't look like a lot of food but we were actually very stuffed even though our 5 year-old helped us eat and drink. Good and pleasant service!
Siva and the rest of the service staff were gems and went the extra mile to make our dining experience a truly memorable one. Thank you Siva for your impeccable hospitality and service!
What a lovely afternoon tea served by the most wonderful waitress. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely time. The music box was beautiful! Thank you!
Good service ( by Alex and Siva ) good food . Had a great afternoon..
Drinks were ok. Not great. The food was terrible. It would have been terrible at cheap prices .... but these were high prices. I mean - just really poor food. If the service was more attentive and caring, they could have sold us a lot more drinks, but as it was , it was hard just to get the attention to try for a refill. Will not go back.
Nice venue, beautiful surrounding. It'll be perfect If only the weather is cooler
Wonderful location; that type of luxury that is not ostentatious yet very refined and cosy. The High Tea experience is truly worth its price; the Musical Box (where the delicious selection of savoury and sweet treats is served) is a lovely addition to it. Staff very kind and smiling and ready to meet your requests and wishes. Definitely recommended.
Service was pleasant and atmosphere was great with the outlet being next to the pool. However, quality of food was quite disappointing and food items were mostly unsuitable for outdoor eating (without air-conditioning), melts within less than 10 minutes.
Unique sumptuous treats in an exquisite setting
The surroundings are very attractive and the fans in the bar kept us cool. The reception stsff were very friendly on arrival .Its has a lovely colonial feel to it. The afternoon tea eas presented beautifully but we found it was style over content. There were plenty of tiny sweet desserts , ufortunately nothing but a couple of tiny bites for the savoury palette. Most of us were presented with our afternoon tea at the same time but two people in our party were served theirs when everybody had already finished. So unfortunately we did not all eat together. Upon arriving home at my condo we all ate more sandwiches as we were still hungry.
