First time but will definately be back! Superb value for money. Excellent service by our waiter, can't remember his name but he had long hair and glasses. Fantastic choices and yummy food. The only down side was a table by the door. Very draughty when lots of people coming and going.
Lovely Christmas do with work colleagues. Good value. Staff at LEAF coped well with the large size of our group.
Great service from booking the table to paying the bill! Staff were all lovely and helpful. Food delicious and reasonably priced.
Staff did a great job in what was a very busy period for the location although there were expected delays in receiving both food & drinks. There were a couple of errors in the food that was served but to their credit the staff rectified this within a short period of time. Well done.
We had a lovely time and the food was really nice 🙂
great experience from booking to paying to the bill - thank you!
First time eaten at Leaf, and really enjoyed the brunch menu food and drinks. Good atmosphere too on a very busy Saturday morning. Staff at counter polite and very pleasant. Nice to get a smile; it does make a difference. Recommend the full English, and to follow, the chocolate brownie with clotted cream.
Christmas menu for 7 starter of poached salmon delicious, main beef brisket was like stewed steak - not good. Delicious but hard brownie Thanks
Staff were fabulous, loved that we all had our menu choices on our name cards, saved a lot of faffing about! Food was great, the leek and mushroom Wellington was so tasty, only gripe was that the vegan brownie was very dry. It still got eaten though!
Staff were extremely patient and accommodating our large group with some of our timing issues thank you
Lovely atmosphere, great location!
We had a lovely evening thanks to the excellent staff and organization of the team at Leaf.
We were disappointed with the desserts. The standard wasn't as good as last year. The Christmas pudding was served cold with very little sauce. I did ask a waitress to heat it and it was so much better warm but the other members of the party were disappointed with it cold. Mains and starters were very good. Thanks
First time been to Leaf and must say very impressed. Choice of food was good and quality was excellent and prices extremely reasonable. The waitress who served us (sadly didn’t get her name) was lovely, credit to the business. The ambience inside Leaf contributed to making this such an enjoyable evening.
Great evening at Leaf for a meal & drinks
The host was visibly flappy on arrival and not very polite, the drinks took far too long to arrive (up to 30 minutes). The food came out wrong and either luke warm or piping hot and no one took our plates for quite some time. Although the staff we approached rectified food and tried they're best to conceal annoyance it was pretty obvious they were too busy to genuinely empathise with ad-hoc customer complaints/queries making me feel like a bit of a nuisance. There was one waiter with dark hair and stubble and a dark t shirt (not serving on till from what I noticed but out on the floor - he took a picture for us) who seemed genuinely concerned about delivering great customer service but we didn't get to see enough of him. The atmosphere seemed like they were short staffed which makes it hard to complain because they were clearly just trying their best but felt under too much pressure to deliver. I may be wrong but if this was the case I suppose this is advice for the management to avoid understaffing at all costs. If it wasn't a case of understaffing than I'm even more disappointed by the experience, especially considering it was a birthday brunch (noted on the booking in advance) which was a little bit stressful in all. Although I've been countless times before during quieter times and enjoyed it I would not recommend anyone went during busy periods especially at the weekend.
Issues with my booking despite me calling to confirm. Staff cross and snappy. Never again.
I love the food and ambience and welcome from the staff. the only thing that sometimes gets in the way is the noise - when there are lots of people I can't hear the person next to me let alone across the table, but luckily (for us) it was quite quiet the night we were in. I wonder whether some sound damping on walls and ceiling would help?
I booked the meal as part of a colleagues leaving do - and a good time was had by all. The food was lovely and the service excellent - the staff were both helpful and friendly. Many thanks
Thank you for accommodating our group of 10, even though you had a function upstairs.
I was greeted warmly. Great service. Great food. Very enjoyable.
A really pleasant evening in one of my favourite places in Liverpool. Staff were lovely and polite, the food was absolutely stunning and the price was fantastic value for money.
Large atmospheric place in a great location. Quality brunch and courteous staff
Wonderful place! Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly, accommodating staff and very easy to book a large table. We definitely recommend. =)
