Lovely staff, Amazing Food and great value for money!
One of my favorite places to eat in naas, lovely tasty food and staff is very friendly
Food was lovely and staff were really nice.
I have to compliment the food standard as everything was delicious on the night. The only down fall was the service time as we sat down for dinner at 8 and didn't leave till around 11:30. The break between our starters and the mains was 1hour and 30 minutes and about 30/40 minutes between our mains an deserts. This wait time then effected my whole night as it was my birthday and I had a reservations made else where for after dinner which I didn't get to use as I wasn't on time. I was very let down with this but do hope it is improved in the future as I enjoy visiting lawlors.
While we very much enjoyed our stay in Lawlors we were disappointed with the food on the bistro. We were waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for our main course and although food was ok we were expecting better. The hotel itself is fabulous as are the rooms and staff especially Cormac in the bar who looked after us very well. Although we were disappointed with the food we would stay again.
4 days Dinner,Bed and Breakfast at a brilliant rate - very satisfied.
The food is very reasonably priced and tasty but needed to be a bit hotter.
Great food and surroundings! Excellent staff
Myself and my boyfriend booked a table in Lawlor’s restaurant for dinner. We both got the 3 course menu. We couldn’t fault the food it was lovely. However, the service and drinks let it down. We both ordered a Guinness which was not drinkable. We asked for a drinks menu, one was given to us but no one came back to us until our mains were being served. We both ordered a cocktail, my boyfriend got a mojito which was served in a slim jim glass with no more than 3 ice cubes, mint leaves and flat soda water. No lime or crushed ice and for €8.50 it’s the least you would expect. I got the Bay of Passion which was drinkable but definitely wasn’t worth €8.50. It wasn’t overly busy when we were there yet our waitress never came back to check if everything was okay. We had planned to stay there and have a few more drinks but for the kind of money we were paying we were better off going to Grace’s where you’re guaranteed to get what you pay for. Overall, we had a lovely meal, we will be back but just for food.
Service extremely slow. Waited 20minutes on two occasions for a drink. Restaurant was not even busy
One of the waitresses was very cold towards us and I must admit just outright rude in her treatment of us
We had a party of about seventeen dine on Thursday the 20th of Decemeber. Five of our group were very ill the next day from the food. The food itself was tasty.
Food was like carvery food and it was cold. Sauce on the chicken supreme was tasteless.
Very enjoyable dinner enjoyed at Lawlors for a family celebration. Lovely food and good value. Well looked after by friendly staff. Would recommend.
Very disappointed ,service was poor .. food was awful ,potatoes didn't taste right ,said it to waitress and got more potatoes back, same no taste ,burger not fully cooked Very expensive for what we got Will not be returning
Lovely staff extremely helpful and polite Lovely place Food was good
Food was ok service was bit slow
Good night, good service. Will return
Second visit and from start to finish a lovely experience. Staff couldn’t be helpful enough. Food amazing and nice to see the menu changed! Will be back.
Service was terrible! Went for dinner on Tuesday, main courses came out while we were still eating our starters. The plates were on the table before we could say anything. We had to leave the table to ask staff for more drinks. Two of the staff were behind us in the back messing very loudly which was disruptive during what was meant to be a nice meal. Seemed like they were more focused on setting up for the next day than servicing the customers that were there.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere and excellent service
the group enjoyed the visit
The shower in the bathroom was really poor, Staff were excellent. Some confusion around the restaurant bill when having the meal deal Shower was really poor. Staff were excellent. Lack of knowledge in restaurant with staff around the accommodation meal deal.
I would like to compliment the staff on their professional and friendly service and for making our son's Christening meal a very memorable family event. In particular, Grace for organising the booking and liaising with myself. I would also like to thank Melissa, Carl and the restaurant staff for their professional and prompt service during the meal. It was really appreciated as we had some family members who were under pressure to return to the airport. We would not hesitate to recommend Lawlors Hotel and restaurant to family and friends and we look forward to visiting again in the future!
We had a table of 24pax booked, order taken at 6.45pm. Some guests had starters but others did not, finally got our main course at 8.15pm! 1 hr, 30mins after order was taken. At no point did anyone come to us to advise of the very slow service. All of the smaller tables around us were served no problem. I appreciate it was a large table but don’t let large groups have the full menu if you cannot service it. It was very embarrassing for me having to apologise to my guests for the slow service when I was having all of our families out for my husbands 60th birthday dinner. I brought this to the attention of the waitress when paying the bill n to quote ‘all I can say to you is sorry, we had 2 other parties in, a christening and a 21st’! Very poor attempt of an apology and I will not be returning to experience such poor service again. On the food some of the dishes were gorgeous, I felt the pan fried chicken was quite dry and plain. All the starters were lovely and presentation very good. We did not have time for desserts as were already running late for the surprise party we had organised! Otherwise I’m sure we would have all had desserts/ tea/ coffees.
