About Spuntini - West End
We are delighted to announce Spuntini were awarded “best italian restaurant” during this year’s glasgow awards…
Spuntini is the Italian concept for sharing and is used to describe a leisurely meal comprising of any number of different dishes shared and done by the Italian Bella Figura.
Quick service, food came out quickly and staff are lovely. Would recommend.
We booked for dinner at 6pm. When we arrived we were met at the door by a member of staff, who appeared not too friendly. We were seated and waited almost 20 mins for our order to be taken. Once taken, we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive our meal, where we were served both starter and main at the same time. I appreciate the restaurant was busy and the new restricions around 8pm closing, however we were left with aprox 30 mins to relax and enjoy our meal, feeling pretty rushed.
Fantastic food and service.
Food was delicious however our food took over an hour to arrive! We had to order twice because they apparently ‘lost’ our order.
Love visiting spuntini’s the food is tasty and the atmosphere is great
Lovely meal & excellent service, just a pity my mrs ended with me after it- but it certainly wasn’t because of the food !
Had a reservation and as as soon as we sat down, our server told us to order quickly “as everyone arrived at the same time” . The restaurant was overcrowded with no distancing. There was even a birthday party booked over two booths, clearly more than two households, everyone swapping seats and the manager even brought out a cake and sang happy birthday with no mask. After waiting for over an hour with no starter, we were advised that our food was late as the restaurant was too busy. Again this was blamed on everyone arriving at once. They shouldn’t have taken our booking if this was the case. 90minutes later and still no food. We spoke to the manager who had his face mask around his neck....it was now 7.30pm so there was no chance we could have had starters and mains and still be out by the required time of 8pm. No Covid rules were followed in this restaurant and they crammed in as many people as they could. We left without having our meal 1 hour and 40 minutes later with no apology from the management An awful experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone
We had a lovely server and she did everything she could for us!
Very rushed atmosphere and made for an unpleasant dining experience
Family love it service is brilliant and so is the food
It was Far to hot inside
Good food and a lively atmosphere for a birthday dinner.
Food was fab, staff lovely and very attentive and speedy. Will definitely be back.
Amazing our family’s favourite place. The best
Waited to long on being served multiple times and then pizza sat under the lamp for 40mins and was cold by time it came. Usually I really enjoy here
Having been regular customers at Spuntini - West End for many years we were delighted to return today seeing old and new faces in your staff. Our family has never had anything but a wonderful experience with you. From the greetings as you walk through the door, to the staff service, the food and leaving is always 10/10. We wouldn’t have picked any other restaurant to be our first dining out in many many months. Take care and see you all again soon x
Everything was perfect.
Great food, atmosphere, booking system, and service.
As always, brilliant food and excellent value!
Great wee venue
Great service! Food was great, perfect for a first meal out with restrictions again.
Always a pleasure I visit regular and glad to have you back
Food was amazing, as always! We did feel rather rushed though, and it did put a dampener on our lunch out. It was our first time taking our 10 month old daughter out for lunch so we were apprehensive but felt very on edge when she was making noise and just being a normal messy baby! A waiter told our girl to ‘chop chop’ when eating her pasta and I didn’t like that. However, there was a waitress who was so kind to our daughter who offered her biscuits when she was making an awful lot of noise - but I didn’t catch her name. Thank goodness for her, she made me feel slightly better, and was tipped accordingly! We will return but only when the time restrictions are eased as it didn’t feel comfortable for us.
