About L'art Du Fromage
L'art du fromage brings the richest cheeses from the Alps melted at the table, the most succulent meats from the regions of France... accompanied with the finest wines from around the world.
Attentive staff, lovely food - we will definitely be back!!
So pleased to have found somewhere serving raclette in Leeds, as a French teacher! Really enjoyed the food, great value for money. Only negatives were that at the end of the night, you'd started setting the tearoom back up around us so we didn't feel able to have another drink and food-wise, I'd recommend each person having raclette to have their own "griddle", as it was quite slow in terms of taking it in turns melting our cheese (hence 4 stars) - although that did mean that I didn't end up uncomfortably full! Also, kir royale available as an apéritif would have made my night! Planning on bringing my Mum as a treat soon.
Great food and service...we’ll definitely visit again.
Lovely friendly staff, fab service. I even got a lovely congratulatory pudding which was a lovely thoughtful touch Thank you so much!
Great Service. Decent enough fondue. Overpriced. Especially the sides. 4.50 for a tiny side-plate of cold 'sauteed vegetables'. No colour on vegetables. Bread lackluster. Potatoes decent.
Really nice staff and the food was excellent and in good portions, great idea for a restaurant. Only negatives were that it was very hard to find and the cafe atmosphere felt a bit cheap/off tone for an evening restaurant meal.
First visit and won’t be the last! Had an amazing time and the food was out of this world
We had to leave the restaurant due to there being several items on the menu ‘unavailable’. We were in the restaurant for 20 minutes and never received the wine we ordered. It was very disappointing.
Fondue was amazing
Difficult to find. Maybe a sign up outside or on the inside of the building to advertise it would be helpful (: Loved the whole experience, such good food and really speedy service. Thank you!
If you like cheese, then this is fab! very generous portion of fondue, extras were also lovely ^-^
Wasn't sure what to expect as the last place I'd eaten fondue was in the French alps. However, my partner and I were completely satisfied with everything; wine was nice, the in-house fondue recipe was very tasty and quite light. The service was good and we weren't waiting too long for our food. All in all a top meal and we're already saying e want to go back and try the raclette and delicious looking desserts.
The food was excellent, and we enjoyed all the sides we ordered for dipping into the fondue. Service was generally good, except for having to ask for the bill twice. Very polite waiter who was good at his job. The one thing we'd improve is the ambience - it felt a bit grubby, with tacky plastic chandeliers and no real character to suggest it was a French restaurant. Get the atmosphere right and this place could be great rather than just good.
Love it, such a nice meal with he family!
Had been really looking forward to visiting in light of having had rackette in Switzerland but have to be honest and say it was underwhelming. Raclette tray was way too small for 2 people, and was heated by 3 half empty tealights. 10mins later cheese still wasn't melted so had to ask for new ones. Didn't feel the food was good value, and a slightly odd touch when the chef came out asked how we found the food - bearing in mind the food consisted of boiled potatoes, a few bits of ham and some sliced cheese that we cooked ourselves, if didn't seem the most demanding of menus for a chef!
