Waiter Gabriel and Capt Ulises, very helpful, good job. La Concha does not have TOPO CHICO mineral water !!!??? Healthier and testier than Cielo in out opinion!

This place was great, spent a lot of time here. Beautiful location/view. Waffles and omelette station were fantastic! - Don't forget your mimosa too! We ate lunch here almost daily, our kids loved the spaghetti & chicken fingers. We loved the onion rings..and well everything we tried!

Service has been challenging all year long with staff that are all fairly new. Last night was no difference. After 20 minutes of no wait staff, one of the Captains took our drink orders and then our meal orders. Captains were VERY Efficient and their service was GREAT! Wait staff did serve the meal, but then again did not return to check if it was OK or even for desert orders. He did come for bracelet numbers and at that time we ordered deserts. The service rating above is for wait staff, it would be 5 star for Captains. In the last month the food part has been slipping. Do not know who is in charge of food but they are dropping the ball. The onion soup was cold and it turned out that the holder it was in either was not on or it was broken. It was replaced. There is NO EXCUSE for having your only soup cold in teh salad bar, basic food service. The second pot was good and the soup was good too. This was the 2nd time in a row that a large cheese bowl was empty. Again no excuse to run out of something everyone puts in their soup. I looked at the steaks and the T-bones had more fat on them than meat. I even brought this up to the cooks who seemed to agree. The NY looked good so we went with them. Every steak we had was ordered medium and everyone came back well done. They were still OK just not close to being right and as I said wait staff never came back to check. This was the 1st night the food was below par at La Concha.

Our normal table was taken and that was not a problem except we got the one dead center by the salad bar, so lots of traffic. We ended up ordering off the menu and it was good. This night was an off night for the chef and the usually good clam chowder. It was missing some clams and missing a lot off potato slices. It was mainly warm milk/cream and clams. The potatoes that were in it must have been added late because they were very crisp from being under cooked. Still good just not as good.

All the ribs were great. I must have gotten someone else's T-Bone. It was well done rather than medium, but it was still good so I did to bring it up. Hilario did good with our group. Will be challenging as we go to a group of 11 next week. Thanks for as good night.

Most like in the top two for worst service at La Concha. When we came in it looked like they were short staffed AGAIN. They even had staff from breakfast still working 12 hours later on about an hour’s rest. The service was so slow I actually, for the 1st time, started to document it. We got there about 0620, about 10 minutes early. The hostess went to seat us, since we had reservations for 5, but a waiter had taken the “Reserved” sign off and seated 3 people at a table for 8. We said we could sit somewhere else, but the hostess said to wait and got someone to move the people. Was appreciated, but not necessary. All this can be seen on the security cameras for time stamps if needed. Captain took drink orders and they came. Then we waited and waited. Beginning now was the 1st time stamp. 1855 the waitress finally came, after over 25 minutes. She never introduced herself because she was running between tables, but later found out it was Dania. She took our order and spoke English well. At the time a refill was requested and it came at 1916, 21 minutes for a second drink. She dropped it off on the run and we called her because by this time others wanted refills. 1930 we got our meal kind off!!!! 35 minutes after we ordered it and NO APPETIZERS CAME and 3 off us finished the soup at the salad bar. The 1st things she said was that the kitchen was having problems. If that were the case, I would have expected a Captain to address this. She brought 3 MEALS and 2 APPETISERS so now the table was completely out of sync eating. I had ordered Mango sauce with the Coconut Shrimp and it was missing, again she said it was the kitchen. My risotto was also cold and the coconut was barely on the shrimp. Another person had the stuffed pepper with extra sauce, that sauce too was missing. 1945 we were all fished eating, but two people still had not gotten their meal, 50 minutes after ordering. 1952 the other two main courses came so we all watched while they ate. The spaghetti was cold so she only took a few bites. At this time, she was getting ready to leave after serving the 2 dishes, so we ordered desert while she was there. Simple order a double Presidente and a coffee. 2002 the two drinks came. Not sure but 10 minutes for 2 drinks seems a long time. She told me mine was a Don Pedro when I had ordered a Presidente. When I said that she said it was a Presidente. It tasted smoother than the bite Presidente has. I am not 100% sure, but I do not think it was a Presidente, but I drank it anyway. On the way back to the room I stopped at the Elite Club in Castilla and had a small Presidente. It had more of a bite than the one I had at La Concha, but still not sure. I did not see Captain Enrique anywhere just Daniel and [I Believe] Ulises and the restaurant was FULL! I am concerned that when Fiesta Americana, Fiesta Inn and the one next to Castilla open El Cid will lose what good staff they have left at La Concha and working breakfast staff over 12 hours a day is NOT the answer.

This was our last dinner for this vacation. What a wonderful, special meal. Humberto, Jesus, Jaime, and Ulysses went out of their way to make this memorable. Thank you so very much!

Good night at La Concha for dinner. Due to the cool winds we [5] decided to order of the menu since food temperature has been a problem bring food in from the BBQ area in the past on non windy days. Hilario did a good job. He has always been one of the better waiters at La Concha. Daniel also helped out and seems to fill in well after leaving the Beach Club.

We ate here 4 times while at the resort. Every meal was delicious. Shrimp, carrot cake, tacos, chicken, ribs, buffet - all a hit! The bbq on Friday night had 3 options for meat - chicken, ribs, or steak.

FORCED to rate service above before I could submit it. Took neutral just to put in something. The night was uncomfortable because of our waiter. We were surprised we were being tested like this. I requested that next time we get another table or different wait staff. Daniel, a captain from the Beach Club, seemed to do most of the service in assisting our waiter. My steak was raw [bloody] rather than medium, but due to our waiter I did not mention it and just had it boxed up. This was the 1st time the BBQ ribs were served WITHOUT BBQ sauce. We ordered BBQ sauce and applied our self. We ordered potato wedges with our meal, but they came as an appetizer at least 15 minutes before our meal.

The service has improved over the last few weeks. Please continue to staff to meet your customers expectations. All resturants should staff according to the number of reservations it has for that day. We are required to make reservations 1 week in advance thus giving management enough time to staff accordingly.

Dry nice dinner despite ongoing renovations. Seated promptly and very attentive servers. Despite swordfish being the catch of the day, Raul found us some sea bass. Thank you!

Had a reservation for dinner but on arrival no table was available for us except outside where it was too cool and windy to sit. This has happened several times during our annual stays. As Millionaire level owners reserved tables should always be available.

Although we would highly recommend LA Concha or meal was disappointing, the salmon dish was bland, the seafood dish was good but not amazing, both meals were at a low temperature. This meal was the bbq feature.

The service was extremely slow and all the meals did not come as ordered or at the same time. 3 of the 6 meals came 45 minutes after the. Rest had finished eating. I blame management not the staff. We didn't see any managers and there wasn't enough waiters.

I ordered imperial shrimp received 6 shrimp sent it back as 1st shrimp was raw got back with only 4 shrimp
