La Bonne Auberge, Glasgow’s original Mediterranean Brasserie, continues to thrive and innovate under the guidance of our award winning Executive Head Chef, Gerry Sharkey. Disappointed to only be offered pre-theatre menu on a Saturday evening. Very limited choices and in the end our fish was dry and overcooked. Service, however was very good and were offered another meal or complimentary coffee. Overall, it didn't hit the spot.

There are certain times in the year when only a limited version of our menu is available, we find that many of pre-theatre customers have set evening plans and therefore enjoy a speedy service. If you are dining with us another time, please do not hesitate to ask for A La Carte menu if you think there is not enough choice and we will happily provide one. Service was shocking despite there being more staff than customers - I did highlight this to staff and have posted on trip advisor to reflect this. We had a full day planned at the theatre with lunch first. It took so long to order we had to finally order soup and just sides. It actually ruined the day!

Food was up to the usual excellent standard but the serving staff were not - we had to ask twice for water, we had to ask twice for our bill and the coffee took so long to arrive we thought they'd gone down Buchanan St to Starbucks. I'm happy to admit we were the second table seated but the first course was reasonably quick but the mains took ages after we finished the starters. if you say you open at 5 then that means you are fully functional at 5 not that your staff have a gossip every 5 minutes until they are up to date

Was disappointed that having presented my 2 courses for £12.50 voucher on arrival and having been assured it was valid, we were then told after we had made our selection that it wasn’t valid on that menu. However having already chosen we proceeded not wanting to cause inconvenience but although the meal was enjoyable it was overpriced in comparison with other establishments in the vicinity.
