Modern Turkish Restaurant
below average and no where near turkish food.
The environment was fantastic. The food was mediocre. All dishes were quite tough, heavy, small, and extremely overpriced.
Too expensive for what is being offered
Great food full of interesting flavours. Wine was good and refreshingly different. Staff very helpful
A lot of fabulously tasty food, but the wine is expensive and the table for 4 was terribly cramped and uncomfortable.
More manti please! The current ones on the menu are fantastic but having some choice of manti would be fantastic
staff were fantastic and really made all the difference
Along with Oklava, this is the best Turkish restaurant in town
Inspired, incredible ingredients, some of the best Manti I have ever had.
Good food, I added salt to a dish, but I’m American and I think we like a little more seasoning.
Great food and service, would book again.
Wonderful neighbourhood restaurant. Light, bright and stylish room with friendly, knowledgable service. We were well taken care of. The food is excellent. A memorable meal.
Lovely food and venue, we very much enjoyed our visit.
Thoroughly enjoyed - thank you!
Fantastic experience - exceptional service, delicious menu, and a beautifully curated wine list. We will be back!
great evening with great food
I had heard very positive things about Kyseri and booked for lunch. I loved the manti, the sourcherry blends in with the traditional manti very nicely. The hake was just right, delicious. And proper turkish coffee to top it off! Definitely will come back.
Everything was delightful. Literally the only thing I would change is that some bread to go with the sweetbreads would be a good idea, as we hated to lose all those buttery juices! The hellim bread is a thing of beauty, reminds me so much of the flavours of Easter pastries in Cyprus. The delice is one of the nest things I have ever eaten. Selin is a genius!
We loved our food at Kyseri and we will be coming back very soon. Every dish was delicious especially the sweatbreads and the two past dishes. One thing we felt it could be improved was the availability of deserts and the staff service. As the menu features only 3 deserts we wouldn't expect from the signature pistachio dessert to be missing from the menu at 9.30pm on a Saturday night. More importantly we only found out that this dessert was not available when placing our order as staff did not make us aware of this when originally handing the dessert menu. For what Kyseri charges for their dishes we wouldn't expect something like this to happen. Or hopefully it won't happen when we come back.
We were five of us for lunch on a Saturday. The menu was limited but had sufficient variety to satisfy all of us. The food was tasty if somewhat oily/fatty. Service was efficient if not particularly friendly. The portions are mainly for sharing.
Hake was the most perfectly cooked piece of fish I have ever tried! Also manti were wonderful, however I found the dough a bit undercooked. I do think the dishes were quite expensive for their size, but that’s fine dining for you! I appreciate the effort and skill put into the dishes.
Great food although would not recommend the Veal sweetbread. It didn't have much flavour but everything else was great. The waiter let us sample 4 wines before we picked the bottle we wanted which was really good. Quite pricey food though.
