About Kricket Brixton
Home of the original Kricket, Brixton remains an important part of our journey. From the early shipping container days, to our new home on Atlantic Road, we are delighted to serve you more of the food and drink we love. The Brixton restaurant will serve as a test kitchen for our other restaurants and wouldn’t be complete without it’s own dedicated cocktail bar!
Friendly and attentive staff, our waiter explained the menu to us and gave good recommendations. Food was excellent, full of flavour. The hake dish was amazing! Would definitely recommend this restaurant
Great food and atmosphere.
Had an excellent evening for husbands birthday. They even bought desert with a candle as waiter overheard us mention his birthday! Great food and service
Superb - everything!
Hey, the staff were lovely on arrival but I'm sorry to say I was disappointed with the food. The recommended fried chicken was dry and the goose vindaloo was also tough.
Awesome flavors and great drinks
So happy Kricket opened in a permanent (and warm) site in Brixton! The food is amazing. I’m going to spend far too much money here.
Amazing food!! OMG it was so GOOD. the chicken which was recommended by the waiter was 10/10 and the mussels cooked to perfection. Portions are very good for tapas style and although we came with the mind to order everything it was obvious after the first 4 or 5 plates that it would maybe too much. Service was very good but was adv. that we should order all plates from the start to which we declined as wanted to stage the meal. Im glad that we did this as the table would not have been big enough for all the plates and food would have gone cold. Now the only downfall and reason for 3 stars is that we felt rushed. At about 7pm when ordering a bottle of wine we were advised that we would need to make it quick as our table had a reservation for 7.30 and this was said in a tone of annoyance to us. Overall a lovely night filled with amazing food and drinks but be prepared to eat drink and move on as no time to Dilly Dally at Krickets.
Didn’t know what to expect from a Sunday roast with an Indian twist, but it exceeded all expectations with excellent customer service thrown in. Keep it up, will definitely return!
Great food and fantastic service. Only marked down for atmosphere for being a little quiet
Excellent food! Great service! I will be back soon!
Service was slow and the servers didnt seem to care. Several elements of our dinner came cold when they shouldn't have. Interesting idea and menu, execution could have been better
Excellent in every way.
Amazing food and drinks, great service during the meal, the only thing that put a dampener on the night was the rush by wait staff to get us out the door ASAP after our meal. We had booked for 4pm and the booking actually said our slot was until 6.30pm, by about 5.30 the wait staff were cleaning up aggressively around us, standing and staring at the table, clearly desperate for us to leave. We would have liked to order more drinks or dessert but were told they were closing at 5.45 (despite booking saying 6.30pm). Would have been an amazing night if wait staffs attitude were a little different!
Absolutely superb service, and the food was phenomenal. Atmosphere was a little flat, even for the person coming in for a birthday, but the decor is excellent.
Having been to kricket in Soho for dinner and how impressed I was my girlfriend and I decided to try out the Sunday roast. We originally sent it back as the beef was cold. The dinner consisted of bullet proof potatoes with no real flavour, a fatty piece of beef which was no longer pink after they re heated it. Plain beetroot and the inside of a steak bake. Gravy was so thin I could read a news paper through it. Room was also freezing cold and the sauce with the mussels was average at best. To finish on a high note my girlfriend's diet coke was fantastic and went down a treat. Stick to the Indian food we have paid the price so you don't have to.
The starters were delicious but unfortunately we were disappointed with the mains as most of them were cold. We did tell the waiter and he took them back and offered to bring us another.
Great service and food
Atmosphere good but food ( apart from the venison) lacklustre. Poori dish and samphire v disappointing... Seemed pre made not fresh. Aubergine sauce also too many flavours mushec together.
Fabulous restaurant- great staff - excellent playlist- will definitely return
Punches above it’s weight. My favourite restaurant in London
I want more Kricket
