About Kopi Tiam
Delight in culturally rich flavours at Kopi Tiam, undoubtedly the perfect place for locals and tourists. Tuck into new, comforting home-style dishes like the heartwarming Herbal Duck Mee Sua, fragrant Teochew-Style Steamed Whole Seabass, savoury Cereal Prawns and of course, perennial favourites - Satay, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Chilli Crab and Fish Head Curry, which continue to delight those cravings for Singapore’s signature dishes.
Staff did not get me to sign the credit card slip that was required for cost above $200. We had to approach another staff to clarify.
Sea bass not as fresh. Service was slow. Disappointing.
Great Service, staff are super friendly & professional
Great food and service indeed.
Great food and place
Was very pleased with the service staffs.
Nice with card benefits.
Food is average except a few delicious dishes like curry fish head, satay and fried beef tenderloin. Choice quite limited. Perhaps can add more authentic peranakan food to the menu.
I enjoy the embience every visit
The whole team is always so welcoming.
Special thanks to the service staff, Ivan who was on duty. He took our orders and was very observant and service oriented - he was on his toes throughout our time there to serve us whenever we raised our hand to request for service. Ivan - you are a STAR!!! Keep it up !!!
Food and service was very efficient. Service staff was also professional. Fish head curry was very good, would definitely come back for that.
Very good laksa.
The food was good and the service excellent
Quick efficient service
Nice place for lunch with the promotional cards. Atmosphere was ok but sometimes I find it a little bit noisy to carry out decent conversation. But hey, after all it is a place called "Kopi Tiam". The choice of food fares were decent and go for the Rojak!
Tried the Kampong Chicken Rice. It's quite dry and tough. Prefer the normal hainanese chicken rice.
The food was alright, but on the expensive side. The service was rather slow.
While the staff is helpful and friendly, the restaurant seemed short handed and it is hard to get their attention. Not cool considering I am hosting an overseas visitor.
The furniture, esp the seats of the benches need to be replaced - as the surface is terribly cracked, it actually bites into the customers’ legs when sitting on it! Otherwise, service was outstanding - except for 1 waiter, the rest of the service crew were exceptional, welcoming us with smiles and maintained it throughout our meal. Food was good, but could do with less salt. Pretty authentic food that will satisfy anyone craving local delights!
Chicken from chicken rice was bland but the teochew steamed fish was excellent. The tahu telur was quite good too but do cut down on the kecap manis which made it a little too sweet. Cereal prawns was very good but the beef cubes was a disappointment.
Kitchen is very slow. Have to alert waiters on several occasions to get our cup refilled.
