Neighbourhood Steakhouse using ethically sourced meat from master butchery Lake District Farmers.
Excellent food and great service
Will be coming back!
Been here 3 times this year and I haven't a bad word to say about the place it's my favourite restraunt in London. I said in there yesterday if it doubled in size it would still be as busy. Wish it had a bigger bar we could hang around and drink at before and after the meal as the atmosphere is great. I should leave a bad review so it stays a hidden secret. Staff are the best and I feel like they love their job and it rubs off. They made us a take out of leftovers which I had today as we was so full we couldn't finish it. Chateaubriand with peppercorn sauce is the best I have had since Rome. Keep doing what you are doing perhaps buy up the premises next door and make it bigger! Knife Fork and Spoon!
Been to knife on several ocassions and it’s never disappointed
Hands down the best Sunday roast in London (or that I have had anywhere, ever!). Staff are so friendly and the food can not be faulted. The portions are really generous and the complimentary mini Yorkshire puddings with gravy to start are to die for.
Chsteaubriand was really yummy! Love the bread and yorkshire pudding. The creamed spinach and (OMG) Potato Dauphinoise to die for.
Loved everything about it and loved the food. Maybe one thing is to warn people about how great and vast those chips are. We certainly weren’t expecting them to be that big! But still loved it
Excellent food and service. Love this place
Best steak I've ever tasted!
You guys are simply the best.
The food tastes great! Which is always important. I went with family who are in the meat supply business, and they all agreed it was the best beef they’d had. The staff are amazingly helpful, and always seem to be happy. I’m a bit picky and indecisive to be honest, but the lady took the time to explain the menu what to choose and how to have it cooked so I’d love it (I did). All this with a wine suggestion as well. Which was perfect.
Food was AMAZING and service was really prompt! Could fault Knife at all and will definitely be back for another visit.
So lucky to have such a great restaurant in the neighbourhood. I dine out quite a bit in London (zone 1&2) and this honestly is one of the best restaurants in London.
Knife serves delicious Sunday roasts. They offer complimentary bread and butter along with mini Yorkshire puddings with gravy to start. Gravy could be a little thicker and more flavoursome but maybe that is a personal preference! Highly recommend.
Food was absolutely delicious. Staff were great.
Have been on a Sunday for a roast and decided to come for a steak and was not disappointed. We had one of the specials to share between 2 and the steak was cooked beautifully. The sides were delicious and the Yorkshire puddings with gravy was such a nice touch. Not too mention the lovely staff and their impeccable service. The only critisism would be that we were located in the walkway between the front and back of the restaurant and one of the floor boards was loose so when people were walking past the table rocked a bit. Besides that it was unreal, would recommend to anyone.
Food was epic and their floor staff looked after us so well ...even though they were so busy.
Wonderful steak - melt in your mouth - beautifully cooked and a delicious bottle of red wine. What more could you ask for?
Always amazing food and Consuelo is the consummate host. Couldn’t rate highly enough.
Incredible meal as always at knife! The only good thing about -winter being able to come here for a roast!
This was a very nice meal though they rather over did the pre main dish extras of mini yorkshire puddings and slightly over diluted gravy which were unecessary and filling since the main dish came with an enormous Yorkshire pudding anyway. They were all a little dry with no evidence of having been cooked using lard or beef dripping as is ideal. The vegetables were also repetitive those served under the meat were mostly the same veg as were supplied as a separate dish so veg overkill. Potatoes were adequate but lacked the real skill needed to make them sensational. Despite this we will return however to try mid week menu which i suspect may be even better. Overall this was good quality meat well cooked and sourced food generally though why anybody bothers with heritage carrots escapes me they are not nearly as delicilious as simple chantenay or ordinary orange carrots, baked in foil with butter cumin seeds and thyme – chef please note and try it out it is infintely better and will raise your game.
Great idea the complementary bone marrow butter. Also very happy they met my request to replace Sunday roast vegetables with succulent mushrooms!
Delicious food with very attentive and lovely waitress
Lovely restaurant, superb food and great service.
The Sunday roast was our first experience upon arriving in London on overseas flight. Food was excellently prepared and service created nice first impression to begin our vacation. Dining area is small which explains the reservation requirements. Staff does a lot in a little space!
