About Kings Head Hotel
Experience the best of British dining in the exceptionally stylish setting of the Kings Head
Had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. From prior to our stay we had fantastic communication by a very friendly member of staff. On our arrival we felt very welcome. It’s a gorgeous hotel with good COVID measures put in place. Had dinner in the hotel & breakfast which once again at a very high standard. Booked a feature room which was stunning. Could not pick one fault. Would definitely recommend & stay again.
Excellent service all round especially during Covid19, staff were attentive, food was delicious
Absolutely lovely, could not fault it at all. Stayed in an apartment, very spacious and tidy. Would definitely come back
We stayed at the Kings head for three nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Even before we arrived we were emailed information about the hotel, reassurance regarding their COVID policy and what they are doing to protect everyone. There was also information and ideas of things to do in the area. From the moment we arrived the services was brilliant. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived, and given clear dissection for the best place to park our car. We had added an extra night, our original booking was for two nights in a feature room, but unfortunately there wasn’t a feature room available for our extra night. So we booked a superior room for the first night and were not disappointed. The room was a good size, light and airy, with large shower. Everything was lovely and clean in the room and throughout the hotel. The next day we moved to our feature room, which we did have a little issue with, as compared the superior room didn’t feel as large and it was a bit shabby. But within a few moment of talking to the wonderful Joanne, she showed us to a different feature room which was lovely. We had two meals in MBB and one in the Kings Head restaurant, all three meals were delicious, and you could not fault the service. A very big thank you to the wonderful Joanne, who went above and beyond in making sure our stay was enjoyable and made us feel very welcome. Having said that there wasn’t a member of staff we could fault, they all were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. A big thank you to you all. The only things that we felt could be improved on, and these are only little niggles. The fruit juice for breakfast wasn’t fruit juice, but more like a children’s cordial in a box and the breakfast was on the cold side by the time you got it. In the rooms they give you paper cups for you hot drinks, and only one each so if you want more than one drink you have to wash a paper cup! I know they were trying to make as many things s disposable as possible due to Covid, but they could have served a glass of real fruit juice at breakfast, and a proper cup in the room could have been collected and put in the dishwasher each day. Or even if it had to be paper cups in the room, more than one each would have been nice. The hotel is in the centre of Cirencester and a good base to explore the Cotswolds. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and its wonderful team of staff. We hope to go back again.
Excellent visit! Will return

Exceptional customer service. Other hotels could take note. This is the friendliest hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in, and I've stayed in quite a few. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable. I will be back. The food was utterly amazing too.
