About The Keiller Brasserie
Welcome to Craigendarroch. For hundreds of years Royal Deeside has been one of Scotland's best kept secrets, and for generations it has been the favourite retreat of the Royal Family. Here in this magnificent setting, on the wooded banks of the River Dee, is one of the country's most prestigious holiday resorts - the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Craigendarroch. Centuries of tradition and heritage are brought to life in this beautiful area, with its quiet charms and relaxing pace of life, which capture the essence of a true Highland holiday experience.
Excellent meal and service in very nice surroundings. Good value - a lovely start to our holiday week in Craigendarroch.
Great food very good service value for money .
A little more expensive than I remember but still high standards.
Excellent food served by excellent staff. Would recommend.
Food was great as always, service was great, but you dont have to say ' your very welcome' every time you speak, must have heard it over a dozen times lol
Lovely and welcoming
Food and service were excellent! Friendly, helpful waitstaff! We very much enjoyed our time dining with you!
Excellent steak, but overpriced and disappointing accompaniment. Dessert portions small
The service was friendly, personal and responsive.
You made our Anniversary an extra special evening. We will be back!
We had Sunday lunch. The service was very good, as was the food (veg slightly undercooked). Keep it up.
Excellent serving staff as ever. I altered my original booking and the young gentleman assisting us was extremely helpful.
Always a treat (our 5th visit to craigendarroch) and the waiting staff are very friendly and helpful.
A very nice evening with friends.
Food okay but a bit uninspiring. Lamb asked for medium rare, served medium well.
Shame about the mix up with the table booking, but we were offered a complimentary drink to compensate. Food and service were really good and look forward to dining there again.
Always a great restaurant to celebrate that special occasion.
Had 2 family meals in the Brasserie. Everything was first class. Staff were friendly, service outstanding. Restaurant is welcoming and relaxed with a great ambience. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. A great experience!
Average food at inflated prices
Waitresses were efficient and helpful
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal; I had Salmon and my husband had Rump Steak. Both cooked perfectly. The dining room was pleasantly busy. I would definitely return.
Staff excellent as always. Food very good.
The food is good quality and the cooking pretty good. The prices are high compared to other places in Ballater, and the atmosphere is slightly noisy, due to the accoustics.
Despite an extensive menu showing on the Resort Info section of the interactive facility within the lodge, we were shown an extremely limited (5 main courses) version at the table. On querying this, we were told that that had been the menu situation for quite some time. I knew this not to be the case as my parents had been here using their timeshare 3 weeks previous, when the extensive menu had still been available. Regardless, all 4 of our party chose from the menu - 2 choosing the popseye steak and 2 choosing the chicken & bacon (expecting it to be a chicken breast wrapped in bacon with some sort of gravy/sauce). The steaks were completely different - one was very fatty and inedible and one was good. The chicken came out as a very dry grilled and sliced chicken breast with 3 rashers of extremely salty and very dry/crispy bacon alongside. There was no gravy/sauce and I could only eat a small piece of the chicken as it was so dry. We will not be visiting this restaurant again if this situation continues, and will instead use some of the excellent and varied restaurant choices within the village.
