About The Keiller Brasserie
Welcome to Craigendarroch. For hundreds of years Royal Deeside has been one of Scotland's best kept secrets, and for generations it has been the favourite retreat of the Royal Family. Here in this magnificent setting, on the wooded banks of the River Dee, is one of the country's most prestigious holiday resorts - the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Craigendarroch. Centuries of tradition and heritage are brought to life in this beautiful area, with its quiet charms and relaxing pace of life, which capture the essence of a true Highland holiday experience.
Excellent meal - far better than the last two yearly visits - Looking forward to next year.
Personally I’d like to thank all the staff for making our meal so pleasant. My wee boy (2 years old) was absolutely thrilled when the waiter got involved in our little game that Jacob was leading! We don’t know his name but he went the extra mile for my wee family. Thanks to all!! Ps the food was lovely!!!
Booked this table for anniversary meal and was not disappointed beautiful surroundings, food was amazing and fantastic value for money. Love this restaurant would highly recommend. Massive thank you for a lovely meal
Service slow and difficult to get staff attention at times c
Food more expensive than I remember the last time - wine in particular was expensive. Quality, however, was excellent.
Pleasant staff. Menu quite varied.
Whilst the service was great the lack of ambience was non existent, as we were the only table there, but when the food arrived my wife couldn't eat her potatoes mashed or roasted as it wasn't very nice, this probably explains why we were the only table there. A big blot on the brasserie's previous experiences.
Service was excellent as always. The four of us enjoyed our meals. I would suggest revamping the dessert menu as a little staid.
Lovely meal and staff very pleasant
nice food ,pleasant staff , enjoyed our evening
I visited the restaurant on “steak night”. My steak was a tad overcooked for medium but still tasted good. The entrée and dessert were presented nicely. Meal with dessert & a glass of wine was fairly pricey. Both the service and ambiance in the Brasserie were excellent.
Steaks were fine however peppercorn sauce looked like gravy and did not taste creamy at all !!
Venue was very loud and was lacking atmosphere. Good starter but main and desert were underwhelming. The 3 Cheeses were indistinct and we had trouble telling which was which ..
Great food and fabulous service
The lamb dish was delicious!! And the service was spot on.
Rather expensive, especially the wines.
Excellent menu and very sensible prices.
Always visit The Keiller when in Ballater.Excellent food and service.Great value for money.
Extremely lovely service from waitresses and waiters, who catered to anything we asked for. Also very helpful and polite waiter who personally offered to show us a better exit for my grandma and dad who both have trouble with stairs, really appreciated him going above and beyond.
Food was better than expected (we had breakfast here the day before, and it was underwhelming), and it was convenient that we could take our dishes back to our suite when our toddler started getting too tired to behave properly.
Fantastic service, lovely food , friendly staff
A lovely relaxing evening. Great food and service
Excellent as always
Fabulous food, good service, the peak of a very memorable weekend in Ballater! What more can I say?
