About Keepers Kitchen & Bar Bristol
Keepers is located in the heart of the old city centre of Bristol, attached to the iconic Grand Hotel. Taking its name from the urban beehive we have on the roof, incorporating their delicious honey in to our menu, we are all about community.
Serving up a wide range of food, whether it's light snacks, salads, pizza, or something more filling, we offer a lot at a great price.
Visited for an afternoon tea - using a groupon Voucher. Lovely surroundings, nice food and great service .
OUTSTANDING!! We booked so friends could enjoy a few nibbles after our wedding on Friday the 8th 2019, the staff went out of their way to lay on an amazing spread, even decorated the tables and put up a sign welcoming us and our guests, the chef even made a special plate with a few cakes and congratulations written in chocolate on it. From the front of house manger down, everyone was amazing, me and my wife can't thank them enough We will be back and will recommend the keepers to anyone asking where is good to go in Bristol Thank you so much
What a find! Hotel restaurant food is rarely this good! The food was on time, hot and really tasty. Coupled with attentive but not overpowering service made for a great evening - thank you all so much.
Superb meal for 25 guests after our wedding, very generous portions for every course, and service was impeccable. Slightly noisy towards the end of our meal for the speech-making, but otherwise very impressed.
We had lunch from the set menu and were really pleased. The service was great, food was well presented, cooked really well and tasty. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you :)
Wonderfully friendly and attentive waitresses. Nice vibe Menu prices are way too high for what you get They had run out of burger buns!!!!! Drinks also absurdly over-priced. £9 for a bloody mary (pretty small). £7.50 for a basic G&T, £15 for a premium G&T
We had booked a table but our friends were delayed. The restaurant staff were very understanding and looked after us very well whilst we waited.
Love Keepers and literally could not speak highly enough of this place. We came as a wedding party following mine and my partners wedding earlier that day and had full meals and several drinks. All of the staff working were amazing especially Hazel. The staff made us and our wedding guess feel so special on our wedding day
I had discovered an offer online and emailed the Mercure hotel about it, it turned out they were not aware of it but happily honoured it for me and boyfriend anyway making an exception for us. This was extremely kind of them, they put on a wonderful afternoon tea, and the service was excellent - all the staff were lovely!
Absolutely perfect from booking to end. Thank you x
Our wedding reception and you hosted us perfectly, thank you so much to Sam and the team. Xx
Disappointed. Celebratory meal for 7. Surprised to find several items not on menu ie chicken dish not available. No dough for pizza. Or steak, replacement offered Tbone or rump... Also Bacardi not available after first drink.
I am very impressed with all the support from Pedro for a large booking of 25. The service and food is outstanding and some of the grp reported that the sticky toffee pudding the best they have ever tasted. Thank you for making such a special event even more special. Bonnie
A very nice meal fair pricing great location friendly staff
Thank you so much - very professional and super welcoming - couldn't have been a better suprise baby shower for my daughter !!
very competent staff very helpful.
We booked originally for Sunday Lunch for seven people. Unfortunately we had to change the booking twice due to sickness and added more people on to our list. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for them to give us a great service. Food was gorgeous and will definitely book again. Highly reccomended.
Thought the quality of the afternoon tea was poor. Brown lettuce in the sandwiches poor cake portion one small donut ring, one small brownie and small cheese cake and the tea was cold. Not what you expect for £20 per person afternoon tea very disappointed and poor value for money have had better afternoon tea in the local cafe for less than half the price than what I paid for this. The service was slow had to request milk and had to go to the bar to ask them to bring the processco. Was not asked if everything was ok with the afternoon tea or if we needed anything else. Also had a long wait to pay for the bill. There were lots of flys in the restaurant which was very unpleasant. Very disappointed with the experience.
We ate twice in the restaurant while staying in the Hotel and both times the food was of excellent quality and cooked superbly. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. Everywhere was clean and tidy and though the food was cooked to order we didn't have to wait too long to be served. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we would always eat here whenever we are staying in Bristol.
Lovely lunch on Saturday, service good despite my confusing order. Thank you for a lovely lunch, the halloumi wrap was delicious
Wonderful staff thank you Fabian and the rest of staff cream tea was fantastic
Afternoon tea was delicious, the waiter was very welcoming and helpful.
A lovely afternoon tea after the spa
Delicious high quality food at a fantastic price. Exceptional hospitality and service, catering for a group of 11 of us. - Would definitely recommend and choose Tyrells again.
