About Kai Mezze Bar & Grill
THE HOUSE OF KAI
The Kai tribe (Turkish: Kayı boyu) was the second-largest and most influential tribe of the nine-tribe Turkish nation. Legend has it, the Kayı was the tribe out of which the Ottoman Empire emerged. The word Kayi means:
MIGHT AND POWER THROUGH RELATIONSHIPS
Great service, food was amazing and good drinks too. Would definitely come again and recommend to others
Was really disappointed with the food, hyped up for nothing
Kai is one of the many great restaurants to visit with it’s beautiful interior design and the stunning flower ceiling that makes your experience of Kai a joy to come time time again enjoying its tasty menu choices with mouth watering dishes and not to forget the Kai tribe/ staff that make you feel relaxed and continue to enjoy the experience of KAI thank you so so much
Limited Starter choices but what we had was very nice. Wasn't clear that rice came with the kebabs We found the Earth Salads a bit pricy. Had the Tabbouleh and although very nice, it was expensive at £8! Overall very nice but generally a bit pricy and choice of starters limited
House of Kai was brilliant in every way! The food was lovely and they looked after us so well. Waiters and waitresses alike were very accommodating and friendly. And the restaurant itself is great for photos too! Thanks so much Kai.
Floor was full of food, we stepped on leftovers, service was ok, warm welcoming. Food to expensive for what you get, it’s like having food from your local kebab shop with the price of a restaurant. I wouldn’t go back again.
Lots of staff in a relatively empty restaurant. Incorrect food served, no bread served with hummous then wacked a 10% service charge on. No apologies for incorrect food just told you got a better dish!
Booked a table for 2 was seen to straight away, amazing food and decor
Unfortunately the booking got off to a bad start as the menu had changed and we hadn't been informed, even though we were booked. The new lunch menu was just a bunch of kebabs, which might be fine during the week, but not really appropriate at the weekends (in our opinion). However, the staff reacted really well and opened up the full menu, which is more limited than before, but pretty tasty. The staff dealt with our complaint well.
Overly priced BadService and basic food . Do not recommend.
Tiny portions, extremely overpriced, bland food, poor service, food took too long to arrive, mocktails tasteless - one of the worst restaurants I have ate in. Will definitely not recommend or visit again!!!! A huge disappointment.
Very disappointed, with turkish background i was not happy with the food, the waiter did not explain properly as it was our first time that sides were bought seperately, we choose our main but the adana kebab was very dry we asked for sauces not knowing without the menu that sauces were £3 each for 2 people the bill was £65, i explained to the waiter he said oh its a new menu i cant do anything about it, quality matter regardless if the place is busy equally the service too. I wont be coming back for sure.
Need to develop non alcoholic mocktails choice as the list was limited.
