I am an Accor Plus member and was very surprised that I have been advised that the new policy is not allowed to use 3 x cards for my table of 6 on the night. I have been told this policy goes across to all Accor Plus restaurants that each table could max use 2 cards now? I believed the Manager on the night and had to pay more without full 50% discounts?! However tonight when I dined in the Manly Novotel, the manager here said that up to 10 cards for 20 guests could be used for one table. He also said this is the Accor plus policy. My overall experience with Jpb was poor due to the settlement of my bill was long and embarrassed. Needed to negotiate bill payment when our memberships’ benefits were not honored.
Staff are incredibly attentive, well-presented and efficient. Manners are impeccable. I will definitely be back: this is now one of my favourite places to dine.
Staff service was excellent. Restaurant menu was limited but the food was delicious
Thank you for an enjoyable dinner

The share plate dinner for two was both substantial and delicious. We started with the chicken entree, and found that we were then unable to completely eat the pork loins and pork bellies with honey roasted root vegetables and salad. Beautiful attentive service and wonderful atmosphere.
Friendly service. The prices were not the same as those advertised, which was a bit disappointing.
Staff were absent at the entrance, but when we were attended to, they were warm and attentive. The fish of the day was excellent, and so was the blue swimmer crab. The salmon was a tad overcooked. The ambience was fitting for a casual dinner.
Although the service, atmosphere and food at the restaurant were all very good the booking experience WAS NOT! I am an Accor Plus member and initially tried to book for Jpb over the phone. My first step was to confirm that the restaurant honoured the Accor Plus card. After confirmation I asked for a table for three at 7 pm. The gentleman that I spoke to surprised me by advising that the restaurant was fully booked. The conversation was pleasant and I queried this position since Tuesday nights are hardly busy nights, however there advice remained. As soon as I put the phone down I went online and booked a table for three for that same Tuesday evening. We had a very pleasant evening in a nearly empty restaurant. I can only assume that the fact that I was booking as an Accor Plus member was the factor in being refused a table over the phone since my membership was not revealed when I booked online. What other possible reason could there be? This incident reflects very badly on the restaurant, the Swissotel and the Accor Plus membership service. Very disappointing incident!
Overall the Restaurant experience was good. Staff are helpful & friendly. Choice of dishes was limited. Our pork belly was tasty. My Barrumundi was lovely, however my wife’s salmon was way overlooked. We also had broccolini which was great. Selection of beverages also good.
Our server was very nice asked us if we wanted sparkling water or flat to start, we chose flat assuming this would be tap water. The server brought the wrong wine glasses, opened our bottle of sparkling wine and poured it into one glass before realising, then spent a long time away, while the wine was going flat, before returning with champagne glasses. Potatoes in my meal tasted reheated not freshly cooked so I did not eat them. I ordered salad with my meal which only arrived after I reminded two serving staff and when my meal was almost finished. We were charged $12 for the water we were served and advised that it was mineral water. I expected a high level of service and high quality of food for the price I paid. Even though there were only another 3 tables with customers, it was very difficult to find a server available to ask for help. I was very disappointed. I will not return here and would not recommend it.
Food really good. Staff very attentive
Great food and great service
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. Have had a few meals here and will be back again. Well done
Thankyou JPb team for making a special night for a special girl friend "celebrating her 60th" - we had a wonderful girlies dinner than a show across the road. We love Cross bar too. Excellent service and well trained staff. Thx Emi .. also enjoy your hospitality and warm smiles.
the staff are extremely helpful and professional.
Great experience ... but we could not eat everything as servings were pretty generous . Sam was wonderful and view pretty good too
Great service and food.
Excellent customer service
We had three course meal from cudo voucher. And food was so bad that we hardly eat any of the course.
Had the pre theatre menu. Very disorganised considering limited menu. Should not be that hard to get 4 steaks right. Server claimed new menu. Dessert was good as were starters but overall not an exciting meal. Would not recommend.
Great service
Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere, friendly service although a little slow.
I enjoyed everything.
Food was gorgeous, wine was ok, good value. Restaurant was nice, not many customers there, but who cares, we had a nice table near the window, in our own world.Have been before & will go again, wi5h a deal voucher!
