Monday - Saturday 12pm - 9:30pm, Sunday 12pm - 8pm
Situated at the top of Bold Street, Jimmy's boasts an atmospheric restaurant with views that overlook Liverpool's iconic Bombed Out Church, whilst offering guests a South American influenced menu.
Very much looking forward to returning soon
We couldn't find suitable choices on the menu and we left. Staff were lovely. Sorry about leaving x
Really great afternoon spent at "Sunday Mass". Food, drink and music were all top notch. Would certainly recommend!
A fantastic experience - great music, beautiful food and good portions. Staff were very friendly and took time to introduce themselves and explain the menu. Would definitely recommend the Sunday Mass!
Sunday Mass event was great!
Had a lovely time at Jimmy's, everything from the venues atmosphere to the staff and food was fantastic :)
The standard and quality of the food greatly exceeded our expectations but what really blew us away was the incredible service. We felt so well looked after, when we had questions about the menu they were really knowledgable and offered recommendations. The incredible pianist playing absolute bangers was such a fun and unique touch! We’ll definitely be back, I’ve not stopped telling people about how great it was.
Excellent atmosphere and service, would highly recommend.
The service was quite slow. I had the octopus which was delicious however there was not enough for the price. Only two bits for £16 is very expensive. It was cooked very well however had been on the grill for too long. My friend had tacos and was very disappointed how thick they were and the jack fruit was very dry and not good flavour and they were cold. . The chips were expensive and quite disappointing. The jalapeño poppers were excellent. I would like to say that the spring onions and the sauce with the octopus was bloody delicious. It was just a shame ther wasn’t enough octopus. Lots of the food was gorgeous just maybe Over priced. And the waitress we had clearly didn’t know what was going on.
We were served by Cassie who was fantastic throughout and really friendly. She was happy to explain the menu and was on hand for anything and everything. I had high expectations and they were surpassed and that was thanks to Cassie and all the tram at Jimmy’s. Excited for the new Manchester joint to open and will definitely be going back to Liverpool soon!
Food was great, as was the service. Funny time of the year between Christmas and new year so wasnt the busiest of times, and some options on the menu missing but to be expected on the 28th Dec. Would return great addition to Liverpool hope it does well, perfect location.
Eli was lovely and great selection of bevs
A New Years Eve treat! 🌹 3rd visit to the Jimmy’s restaurant, absolutely immense food, gorgeous cocktails and overall great atmosphere, a great way to start off the celebrations into the new year.⚡️ Would recommend the Croquettes, Meatballs, Hannan Burger or the 3 Bean Chili (an absolutely divine vegan option) which comes with flat bread and a hearty helping of guac.🤩 The staff are so welcoming and friendly, making the experience very enjoyable! Great choice of great people! 🌟 Awesome playlist of music, would also 100% recommend going on a Friday/Saturday as they have live music on in the restaurant. 🎶 Good luck to Jimmy’s in 2020, it looks like you’ve worked very hard to get to where you are!❤️
The food was nicely presented and was absolutely delicious. If I had room, I would have eaten the whole meal twice over. The staff were very professional, but friendly and nothing was too much trouble, such as when we asked for ingredients to be omitted from the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and the already tastefully-designed interior was complimented by the view of the adjacent illuminated church. There was an diverse mix of background music which kept us guessing what would be coming up next. This was followed by a talented pianist playing a great variety of songs. We were very impressed overall so we will definitely be paying another visit to the restaurant.
Great food, great booze, great music. 50% off the food is incredible 👍🏻
Great atmosphere excellent food and the piano player was great
Travelled over from Leeds specially for a visit to Jimmy’s before 2019 was out! First visited back in August and Jimmy’s has firmly established itself as one of my favourite ever bars. The music is fantastic, as is the beer and yesterday we got to try the food for the first time - equally as amazing! The crab burger, cod croquettes and jalapeño mac and cheese are to die for. Can’t wait to come back!
Ace food and ace music playing while you eat it! The jalapeño mac n cheese is wonderful!
This was a return visit as we had enjoyed it so much the first time. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is amazing.
Excellent anniversary meal experience. The steak was one of the best I’d ever tasted and the service friendly and attentive. The choice of background music was lively and evocative of the 70s. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!
Ok bit of a mixed review I rated it 5 star because the overall experience was good food was lovely service was wrong but amazing Love the place So the reason service was wrong was we didn’t get everything we ordered and the wine we ordered took nearly 10 mins to come but the gent that served us from start to finish realised his maid takes and apologised to us straight away and rectified our bill accordingly and also discounted our wine The food was incredible and we felt looked after Amazing place will deffo return in the new year and hopefully all the issues we had will be sorted Amazing customer service
I had visited Jimmy’s before, but only to the bar and Stage area. This was my first time visiting the restaurant. The greeting was warm and friendly. After sitting at the table, I could really appreciate the decor. Quite dark continuing the rock music vibe. Plenty of neon lighting. The food was interesting and of an extremely high standard. My steak was perfect. The highlight of the evening was that the venue has a Grand piano. A superbly skilled pianist playing anything from Brubeck to Bowie. A great dining experience. I cannot wait to return.
Been a fan of Jimmys since the bar opened in Manchester and over the moon they’ve brought one to Liverpool AND opened the restaurant there too. I’ve had drinks in the bar and food in the restaurant and I keep coming back! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the beer is amazing especially the Honeycombe Pale Ale. The food is sensational and I’m currently working my way through the menu. Current faves are the steak, octopus and the crab burger but you cannot go wrong with the menu. The pricing is slightly on the higher side however for the quality of the food, it’s something worth paying for. They also have a live pianist and saxophone player there also. Literally everything you’ve ever wanted under one roof! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Delicious food, excellent service & lovely atmosphere!
