Enjoy the warmth of home-cooked food with new signature dishes.
Featuring a new contemporary outlook and casual dining setting, Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant seeks to welcome young families through a wide variety of Singaporean-style home-cooked dishes.
Food very good, quality is good. But decor used to be more classy.
Always a pleasure to dine at Jia Wei. Food was delicious as usual. Fresh and flavourful. The service team, as always, provides superior service, in particular Bernice. A familiar face when my family dines at Jia Wei, we take delight in conversing with her. She remembers our food preferences, and even my mom's birthday month. She's a gem in your team.
Service staff were very attentive and warm. Peking duck is a must have. Will visit again.
Food is delicious and nice. For service, the waitress quite responsive and friendly attending to our request in quite fast manner. Prices are not so expensive. Definite recommend to my friends to try the food.
I have been to the restaurant several times and always delighted with the food quality and dining benefit as an Accor member. Nonetheless, this is disappointing that the food quality seems to have dropped (i.e., the soup is salty and overboiled red dates that leave unpleasant texture) while not able to utilise the dining benefit as I have the meal on a black-out day, i.e., new year eve.
Helpful service staff who ensured all our needs are looked into.
Comfortable environment. Good service and prompt. Food is tasty and simple.
Service is excellent but food rather costly if no discount vouchers .
Jia Wei improvised on the set lunch menu, it was impressive and our family members love to dine there.
Very expensive and very small portion. Paid close to 50 for sea cucumber but there are only 3-4 slices of sea cucumber.
Overall I had a enjoyable meal with good services.
The promotion set menu A the noodles does not go well with the lobster and sauce. Too thick and too al dente. Less green chillis on the black bean chicken(ala carte) otherwise everything else is good
Nice tasty food ,, not too salty and not too oily .
The double boiled soup of the day was really good. The stir fried pork with green peppers was also outstanding. The steamed soon hock was done well but size a little big for a group of five. Service was attentive and outstanding. Bernice especially made us feel we are amongst friends. Kudos.
Excellent food with fantastic service from the staff. Enjoyed the soup, Peking duck, signature bee Hoon and coconut dessert.
We enjoyed the food where their specialty was the Peking Duck. It was great that they also had homely soups like lotus root soup. We also ordered fried rice which is usually a good choice for kids. The service was also good, as the wait staff were polite and attentive but they seemed very busy and appeared shorthanded. For the price that we paid for, it would be more value for money if the overall experience was made better.
service was good
The food was unexpectedly good for Set Meal. Good combination of dishes, excellent quality. Good value for money. I would recommend the Set Meals to other friends. A little disappointed with the refurbished restaurant — the decor is very lacking in warmth and ambience. Does not reflect the high standard and exquisite feel of a good class Chinese restaurant (that it was previously).
My family has been celebrating our birthdays at Jia Wei for years. We always look forward to visit the restaurant. Sad to say, after the renovation, we feel that Jia Wei has lost its identity. We still prefer the previous decor with table-cloth, artefacts and the wall murals. The previous utensils and furniture were much more classy than now. The Jia Wei now is too grey, gloomy and lacks a distinct identity fit for a Chinese restaurant in the hotel.
too much msg. very thirsty after eating
Food service was slow, maybe staff wanted to serve the food course by course. Set B’s fried rice had no flavour, sad to say coffee shop zichar stalls have nicer fried rice, could do with more wok hei. Set A’s lobster was fantastic, the fish noodles were AMAZING and the sauce compliments that dish very well, overall a very very good dish! The yam paste was excellent. Atmosphere very comfortable and inviting, and sufficient amount of partitions lead to a more intimate dining experience. Nice modern decor as well.
The varieties of food quite limited, many food i saw online in the previous menu are no longer in the new menu. I have actually listed out a range of dishes to order for my mum to eat, but ended up most were gone.
My 1st visit & had the set menu for lunch, the price is good & reasonable for 4 items, happy with the food, presentation, quality, ambience & staff attentiveness, hope to re-visit soon
