Featuring contemporary oriental design and décor amidst a fine dining ambience along with a revamped menu, Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant offers both exquisite fusion and authentic Chinese cuisine created by our Master Chef. Opened in December 2007, Jia Wei has since revolutionised the art of modern Cantonese cuisine with its wide selection of elaborated Cantonese cuisine, traditional Hong Kong dim sum and an extensive list of wine labels to complement each meal. The cuisine specialties at Jia Wei include Peking Duck (北京烤鸭), Live Seafood (活海鲜) and Double Boiled Soup (炖汤).
Glad to have another yummy meal. Cereal lobsters were very nice and fresh. Love the home made beancurd with minced meat and mushroom. Also love their mango pomelo, deep fried durians, durian paste.
My friends enjoyed the food and will want to come back for next time... We enjoyed the services provided by Bernice too. Thank you
The food is very pricey. I think to lure more people to this restaurant, the price has to be reduced a little more. Service was good tho! The trainee is good!
First time at Jia Wei Chinese Restaurant even though I have been to Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel for many years. The dishes are of quality and the food are nice as a first time customer. Will visit again. All the best.
Staff were very attentive to our needs. It was an enjoyable lunch. They were able to suggest the right portion by assessing our group of 8 comprising grandparents and young children so that we don't over order. As Accor member, the 50% discount offered via voucher offers great value.
The service was fantastic. The staff were very responsive and courteous. The Ee Fu noodles, stir-fried asparagus and sliced fish with bittergourd were very nice. The crispy pork belly was very tough to chew and the crackling was not crispy. The fried pastry of the red bean paste pancake was not crisp and felt oil-soaked. The restaurant might wish to improve the batter and add toasted white sesame seeds.
Good service and food. It would be nice to have the dim sum menu again.
Daily Soup we ordered was too salty. the 2 Fishes we ordered for 2 tables was inconsistent. One table had a better one while the other table had a fish that tasted too plain and was not fresh. found the food more pricey than usual. I come here at least 3 times during CNY every year with my family. Decided to introduce this place to friends this year.
appreciate staff we took care of our table that day, jasmine :)
Excellent service and good food and atmosphere though the hot chrysthsamum tea is totally tasteless and bland like water like in many Chinese restaurants.
There were only 2 tables at 12noon, but it took too long to wait for the food, about over 30mins for 1st dish-vegetable to come. The service staffs are quite inexperience, trying their best to respond promptly to every request which was caused by not trained up yet, e.g. the side plates and small bowls were ready well next to us, but the staff did not serve us with that when dishes come, till we asked. As mentioned, only 2 tables during the time 12+pm - 1+pm, but the staff were occupied by other tasks off the front, and thus we need to keep on looking for staff, till the end, there was 1 staff stood around us to assist us.
Warm attentive service. Good recommendations, and tasty dishes. The restaurant management was very kind to waive the cost of longevity buns for our table.
We felt that the service was poor. Given it was early evening and not too busy, the staff seemed to be concentrating on Serving two tables with larger numbers, families of 8 people or so. As 4 people we were an afterthought. The rice arrived a good 5 minutes after our meals and that’s poor by any standard. I wouldn’t come back being honest. The prawn dish was beautiful but the crispy pork belly and crispy garlic chicken were both bland and dry.
Tried the seafood festival set. Generally good quality food and with adequate portions
Nothing special to mention.
Excellent and friendly service! Staff was attentive and were mostly prompt with our requests. Food was mostly delicious, we love the seafood beehoon and coconut pudding the most. The rest was tasty - prawn platter was a hit too. Ingredients were fresh and portion were generous. Our least favourite were the duck (slightly tough) and the ngoh hiong/五香 (minced too fine with too much starch). But nevertheless, although pricy, it's still one of our favourite restaurants due to the overall nice and unique food.
Great food, nice atmosphere for friends and family gathering.
Food was exceeding expectations Service was pleasant V good
We love how the food taste was just right - not too overly flavoured - which reflects the taste of home-cooked food. The dishes that we love include the Peking Duck, prawns with chilli sauce, claypot brinjal and the double-boiled chicken soup. Service staff members also met with our many requests. We had a great experience overall!
Once again, I would like to thank Jasmine for her wonderful service again. However, I was disappointed with the restaurant again.. This time round, there is no Coconut Pudding dessert. This is a signature dessert so how could the restaurant goes without it. The lobster with superior broth was not a taste that I could accept even though it was a popular dish in your restaurant. I hope the restaurant will not disappoint me the next time i brought a friend to try out.
Delicious set lunch
Great food and great service. Staff are helpful and friendly. This is one of our favourite dine-in places in Singapore.
Enjoy the service provided by Jasmine on the day we had our dinner. She is really helpful and friendly during our dinner. Food wise, the cempedak crab taste was really horrible. I am wondering how can it your signature dish? Was disappointed that LIVE Prawn need to be pre-ordered. I did asked over the phone do i need to pre-order any seafood, Venice say no, in the end, on the day i arrived, i want to order live prawn, she say that need to be pre-order. So contradicting!
Nice food & excellent service!
