Excellent lunch in pleasant surroundings. We’ll visit again soon.
As a vegetarian, our choice was limited and we changed our reservation so as to be able to have the vege breakfast. Otherwise, we cannot fault the place. As always it is an excellent experience.
All our people (7 from Bay of Plenty & 2 locals) loved the food and the venue. Well done!
A lovely meal with attentive staff. Great area for children.
Cannot fault anything about our lunch, great people, amazing atmosphere, great food, we all really enjoyed ourselves and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back.
Perfect setting for a birthday celebration with family and friends while holiday in the area. I was able to book the best table (on the verandah) and everyone enjoyed their meals and the relaxed atmosphere. It was really busy and there was a slight wait for food, but we were not in a rush, we had drinks and the kids were off playing and exploring so it was perfect ! Service is excellent, we were well looked after and as always the setting is idyllic.
Always come here for my birthday dinner and have never been disappointed.
Our experience was absolutely fantastic, thank you.
We really enjoyed our lunch . Happy friendly staff and quick service. Beautiful inspiring garden surrounding. Always a pleasure to visit Jester House! Thank you!
Great food, great staff!
A wonderful time all round keep up the great work
Love the ambiance of this place. Great place to bring kids, grandkids.
Visited Jester House twice in as many weeks with our visiting family, and a delightful experience it was on both occasions in all respects. The first visit for lunch, the second for breakfast. The efficiency and skill of the friendly staff and owners, no matter how busy, never ceases to amaze. This place is a gem not to be missed. A wonderful atmosphere too. We will be back soon.
A favourite family spot in a lovely setting. Always incredible service and hours of relaxing and great food.
Its always wonderful at Jester House. We love taking visitors there, the food, atmosphere and service is consistently excellent. Highly recommended especially for families. The eels are great and the gardens magical.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the stroll through your wonderful grounds. Thank you for a lovely experience and great service with a smile - we will be back.
Very happy to see the gurnard back with the sauted potatoes! Great service from Pip the waiter and a lovely shady table out in the garden. A lovely family lunch. Thank you. Also booking on line was super easy!
The atmosphere at Jester House was great. My partner and I went on a scorcher day and sitting on the verandah in the shade with the lovely view of the gardens was very relaxing. You can see why it's a popular place to go! We both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! The only thing to mention is that the side of oven baked wedges were quite soggy with oil, not what you'd typically expect for wedges which tend to be crispy. That being said, the food was still great and I'd go back again :)
Fabulous setting for children and adults alike, what a treasure of a place!
Thank you for the wonderful food, for seating us in the shade as we had an 88 and a 90 year old in our group. Great service, too.
Always lovely to visit Jesters for lunch when we're on holiday
Jester House never disappoints. Friendly service, tasty food and very family friendly - one of our favourites!
Just wonderful. Lovely setting.
I have visited Jester House with my kids for ten years and recommended it to loads of friends but today it was not up to its usual standard, despite not being as busy as we've experienced in the past. Our table wasn't ready at the time we booked for and despite booking approx a month ago, there was not a table for us all to sit together. Cobbling together 3 tables, one of which was too small for all of the big kids we had with us was really disappointing. Our group of 14 spent $430 on lunch, it's a shame this visit let our previous experience down..
Very accommodating especially on such a busy day. We always feel welcome.
