About Jenkins & Sons
A converted 1920s fishmongers and butchers selling the finest local meats and fish on top of wood-oven cooked pizza, plus craft beers in a rustic-chic spot with mishmash furniture.
Cocktail Hour 5pm-7pm Mon - Fri
Drink our delicious cocktails for half their normal price on our sunny terrace!
Very friendly atmosphere. Burger was one of the best I've ever had. Very speedy service and good value.
Amazing Pizza - choose the Summer one Tempura Squid was lovely too Waitress very helpful and cheery despite being short staffed Venue seems more casual and less menu options than the earlier days of Jenkins where there were many Josper oven dishes such as chicken and steak.
We love this place! Always welcoming and great service.
it was a lovely meal out, nice and relaxing with grandparents and kids, great place to be, knowing that all ages can enjoy family time food!! thank you!!
Wonderful breakfast and really good that it is open from 9am on Saturday!
So pleased as a mixed Vegan / Vegetarian family to see a restaurant embrace a plant based menu and make it really tasty !!
Pizzas and service were great as was choice of drinks. MAC was very dry indeed. Beer seems to have increased in price??
Really lovely evening! Great food & fab live entertainment too🤗
Loving those meatballs. Great atmosphere and great value.
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Love it here.
Great food and service in a relaxed environment
Excellent Staff, good selection of drinks, great food.
Would 100% recommend Jenkins & Sons, had a fabulous evening at the Christmas quiz with a group of 12! Wonderful host, great atmosphere, good service (even though very busy). The only thing weren't aware of was that the only mains were pizzas...but they were delicious. We will definitely be back.
We celebrated our engagement party at Jenkins and Sons on Sunday and could not have been happier, we were allowed to decorate our area and pay for a quizmaster to entertain our guests in our area. We asked to just allow ordering at the bar which kept it simple and there were no unpaid bills at the end my fiance and I had to cough up. it was a great atmosphere in a lovely location, a hidden gem really!
Great food and even better service. Definitely coming back soon to try the rest of the menu!
Beef brisket starter was totally unchewable and uneatable. It was however changed with no problem. Rest of meal ok. Old menu was much better!, service was excellent
With plenty of local choices to eat and drink, you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere better than Jenkins. Great food, very friendly and warm staff with an excellent selection of drinkies 😃
We had a lovely evening - gorgeous pizzas and wine! Many thanks to all.
Great friendly service and lovely relaxed atmosphere
Very Friendly service and tasty food. Never feel rushed to leave. Jenkins is a local treasure.
A specials board would have been good ok if you want a pizza but otherwise choice limited. Drinks a bit pricey especially cocktails a pint and a spritz over £16!!
Great new menus went back the next day ! Pizza heaven
5 stars all round! We visit J&S regularly, it’s just around the corner but even if that wasn’t the case we would make the effort to visit for a relaxed drink or dinner. The new menu is a great improvement, much more informal and a good move away from being part of a large number of bars selling burgers etc. The prices are very reasonable. My wife joined the Hug Club and we’ve enjoyed several of the benefits, in this case a BOGOF deal for any main meal. The new pizzas were great, really tasty dough and a more exciting range of toppings than typically available. J&S advertises there being some sort of offer available on most nights, so never a chance to get bored. I’m looking forward to the craft beers, for me this is the last missing part of the drinks range.
