Breakfast is superb, can't fault the food or the service. Friday night buffet the food was good but the service of the cook carving was dreadful. He was more interested in talking out the back than serving the customers. the other staff were helpful but could not get the chef to carve. Saturday night seafood buffet was not worth staying the extra night for.
Beautiful food Amazing selection of food
Very nice food. Best for family with kids
Hostess advised that price was $51 pp. Had to advise her that all the info on hotel brochure and website stated that cost is $49 pp. She said she would give it to us for the cheaper price. I know it’s only a couple of dollars but I think that information everywhere should be updated if they are to charge higher prices. If soft drinks were included in price, the overall price would be better value. Lovely service from waitresses. Food selection small but tasty. Enjoyed the desserts and ice cream bar (would have loved it even more with nuts and flavour toppings)
excellent service, maximum attention to the guests , high quality food . very recommend!
Excellent value buffet at Leura on a weekend evening. More than just seafood (oysters, prawns, mussels and clams), this buffet has something for meat lovers and dessert lovers too. We liked that coffee, tea and hot chocolate are included. In winter evenings, the terrace is enclosed and so the ambiance is a bit constricted. It's a popular place for families and celebrations.
Lighting was a little low and had to ask for our plates (prawn/crab shells) to be cleared, but food was nice, good seafood lovely desserts.
Great food and good quality. Nice place and good service Will come again
Our experience was terrible. We got given the plates of food and drinks with no description of what we were eating and then we never saw the waiter again. We wanted more drinks but we couldn’t even find the waiter to ask for some so we helped ourselves to the coffee machine that was available Very terrible service - we were very disappointed
Decor is very dated and the view is obstructed by the window surrounds. Very disappointing. The food and service was great, except for the gluten free options which were barely edible.
Absolutely amazing customer service, we all had a wonderful time; staff are very polite and friendly; we all felt that all staff went out of their way to cater to all of our needs; Roger even gave us a tour of the rooms and attractions. Brilliant thank you very much 😁
I went for the seafood buffet. Expecting all food to be seafood, the cold part was excellent as well the salads. But the hot food wasn’t great except the mussels and there was a lack of variety only option was salmon and surprised that was lamb, pork and beef when supposed to be a seafood buffet. That part didn’t like at all. So will be great to publish what’s included in the menu so people don’t get disappointed as I was. Service was impecable. Thanks Regards Luigi
Not much choice on the buffet. We had better meals and better value using the AccorPlus dining benefit at Embers restaurant.
The food was absolutely amazing. My only suggestion is that once all the food was out there were no waiters asking if we would like anymore drinks
Fabulous seafood buffet. Great quality and lots of variety. Good value. Staff great.
The food was really disappointing. The fresh seafood was good but the hot food was terrible, like it was all from a packet and the dessert bar was still frozen cakes! Really disappointing.
Very expensive for not a lot of variety of food. We had two children with us and they offered chicken nuggets (which were disgusting) and crumbed fish. There were no hot vegetables (eg carrots, beans etc) to go with the carvery and it only offered pork or lamb. The dessert bar was very ordinary to say the least!
While the seafood was good I really don't think the selection plus an additional 6-7 basic hot dishes warrants a $79.00 price tag. I'd definitely be back if the price were lower or the quality/selection better.
Expected much more Seafood given I booked a seafood buffet
The food was excellent, the service even more so.
Seafood was beautiful and fresh. Roasts tender and moist. Desserts out of this world. Another great visit.
Fascinating we could not order a bottle of Proseco at a top notch resort?
The food was average and very expensive
Had the seafood buffet on Saturday night. Great food in a great resort and location served by wonderful staff. Nothing else need to be said.
Our night was nothing like we expected. Firstly, it took my husband at least fifteen minutes to reach the hotel after parking our car due to lack of spaces and an equal time to retrieve the car and pick me up. The restaurant was loud, bright and full of young children running riot. Not the quiet, relaxed up market dining experience we were expecting. We won't be back.
