About Jamison / Terrace
Start your day with a gourmet morning in the newly refurbished Jamisons Restaurant with modern buffet and chef's cooking station.
The magnificent Jamison Valley is your stunning backdrop with uninterrupted views as you enjoy lunch or dinner. Enjoy a casual meal with flavours from the region and there is also a children's menu to choose from. A true breath of fresh air.
had to ask for drinks people were served that came after us before us. Not worth $79 had better
Unfortunately we had a blackout whilst Dining, luckily the food was already out so no drama, what was very disappointing was the soft serve ice cream was unavailable which was upsetting for my children as they (and myself lol) were REALLY looking forward to it with all the accompaniments provided, and being guests of the hotel we were hoping maybe for a complimentary night of dining. However the chef was good and funny and food was above average for buffet even if fewer choices then most and I really appreciated he effort made by staff to help celebrate our getaway.
Really enjoyed our stay. If anything wasn’t happy with was the pillows. I like a firm pillow but food, bed & room was great. Will definitely be back.
Great sevice and the caramel cheesecake is one of the best desserts I have ever tried
food and service were excellent
Absolutely perfect both food & service exceptional thankyou!!
Staff was friendly and food was amazing...
Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is a problem. Quality of the food is high. Well done team and management
The seafood buffet did not meet our expectations... only having cold prawns, oysters, cold crab and one cooked fish... and the rest of the buffet was meat and vegetables.. A seafood buffet means having all sorts of seafood not just a small selection. The seafood that was there wasnt great... the prawns tasted frozen, not much meat in the crabs and the fish was okay. Also the pricing for the buffet.. $80 per person... it wasnt worth 80 dollars.. such a rip off We were not impressed at all and wished we didn't have dinner there that night.
Amazing view is the icing on fabulous fresh seafood and attentive staff.
We went to Jamison's for the Saturday night seafood buffet. The buffet food was excellent quality, especially the seafood. The mains were a bit average in selection, but the quality was still good. Very disappointed with the children's selection as it was mainly crumbed fish or chicken nuggets and chips. At least there were steamed veggies on offer! Desserts were awesome! We were seated in the Terrace section, which had a lovely view, but it got very stuffy and noisy when it filled up. The head waitress was cordial and solicitous, but could have done with a few more smiles! Wait staff who arrived later in the evening were much better - more friendly and attentive. All-in-all, it was a lovely evening to celebrate our anniversary and we did roll out of there stuffed with good food.
Food was great Pricing is reasonable Dissatisfied when paying I am a Accor member Was not told the membership Did not apply because school holidays I was not impressed
Classic buffet at A$ 51 per person was expensive for what was offered in the buffet. When we were seated, we were told that standard Accor Plus benefits applied (50% off for two people). But when paying, we were told that because school was closed, Accor Plus benefit was only 10% off
The huge Prawns were extremely fresh as were the Sydney Rock Oysters. All the food on offer was very delicious and the friendly cook at the Mussels' servery is always greeting with a smile. The dessert bar is more than you can eat.
We had a lovely time, fantastic high tea and great service.
Thank you to Sandeep and the team! A special occasion made even more so by your friendly staff!
We were there for our anniversary, it was really busy lots of little kids running around could hardly hear my husband talking ... I wish there was un adult area a ,little quieter as it was a special occasion.... also trying to eat the crab ... please invest in crab utensils mmmm
Seafood was ok but all the deserts where stale so that was very disappointing not sure if I would do it again and at breakfast the banana bread was stale as well and the omelet took a very long time
Breakfast is superb, can't fault the food or the service. Friday night buffet the food was good but the service of the cook carving was dreadful. He was more interested in talking out the back than serving the customers. the other staff were helpful but could not get the chef to carve. Saturday night seafood buffet was not worth staying the extra night for.
Beautiful food Amazing selection of food
Very nice food. Best for family with kids
Hostess advised that price was $51 pp. Had to advise her that all the info on hotel brochure and website stated that cost is $49 pp. She said she would give it to us for the cheaper price. I know it’s only a couple of dollars but I think that information everywhere should be updated if they are to charge higher prices. If soft drinks were included in price, the overall price would be better value. Lovely service from waitresses. Food selection small but tasty. Enjoyed the desserts and ice cream bar (would have loved it even more with nuts and flavour toppings)
excellent service, maximum attention to the guests , high quality food . very recommend!
Excellent value buffet at Leura on a weekend evening. More than just seafood (oysters, prawns, mussels and clams), this buffet has something for meat lovers and dessert lovers too. We liked that coffee, tea and hot chocolate are included. In winter evenings, the terrace is enclosed and so the ambiance is a bit constricted. It's a popular place for families and celebrations.
Lighting was a little low and had to ask for our plates (prawn/crab shells) to be cleared, but food was nice, good seafood lovely desserts.
