Food was average but overpriced
The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices.
Low standard for a Fairmont hotel. Food is not good. Even the glass of wine took too long to arrive and told the waiter 3x. Pizza was soggy, hamburger no good, chips was cold, steak was small, with horrible salad. Breakfast was a disaster. Long queue.
Food not great in terms of range and quality and not very healthy at all. It’s very expensive. The staff is friendly.
The high tea was lovely but the view was not as expected. Due to the height of the bi-fold windows when you sat down you couldn’t see the view at all. All we looked at was a fire hydrant, grass and muddy puddles.
Food is great. I ordered Salmon but it was a bit raw. They are willing to cook another dish
Quality of food could of been better, more variety would be good to.
I realise your staff are doing their best but the kitchen staff seem to be cutting corners. The poached eggs were cooked too early and left under a bain-marie so some were hard-boiled. The toast was inedible as it had obviously been toasted earlier. It was hard and impossible to eat. The tea bags were horrible.
Disappointing all over! Very basic room and the lounge sitting area off the reception (where you can order coffee) is very sub standard. Lifts have also seen better days.
We enjoyed Breakfast & Dinner during our stay at the Fairmont Resort Leura. We have stayed there countless times and truly have never had any complaints. Unfortunately though, and I guess because of new implemented rules & regulations since COVID-19 I so missed your amazing breakfast buffet. Just wasnt the same, I requested poached eggs on soudough and got soudough that wasnt toasted through, my eggs were not runny as they should have been they were hard and my latte was served in cup & saucer & coffee spilled on saucer. No butter on table only margarine...Our dinner was served in the breakfast room due to full capacity in your dining room, that I guess could not be helped due to Hotel's full house. Maybe little things could be reviewed and implemented according to COVID restrictions ... something Management should address.
It was Breakfast.
Stunning view of the mountains from the terrace, but the high tea was average.
The food was yummy, service was great . The atmosphere and the view was amazing. Being a local enjoying a two day break is something we all should do more.
I really enjoyed the high tea at Jamison’s. Good food, nice service, awesome view and COVID safe!
The food was not upto standard for the price we paid... my sons linguine bolognese was horrid... and the chicken catchatore was cold and terrible... never again I would go to that restaurant...
Had breakfast here twice during our stay. There are 3 sittings and a small menu due to Covid-19 restrictions but can accommodate most needs so that if you want a poached or fried egg on toast rather than what is on the menu staff will oblige. Must book ahead to get the time slot preferred or so as not to miss out otherwise the other option is to have breakfast in your room. Staff doing a great job under Covid-19 restrictions.
Great service and food was excellent
Great high tea but service was a little slow initially, probably because the group got there 15 minutes late. Great after that!
We had a lovely time staying with you as always. Dinner in the restaurant was great, food excellent. Only disappointment was no marshmellows Over the open fire place this year. I’m sure only due to Covid. Thanks again. We’ll be back!
Way overpriced & slow service. Very disappointing!
Excellent food, wine and service. I wish I was staying longer just to try out another dish. Breakfast was also well done since there are no buffets. I liked it better than a buffet.
Wonderful stay staff were very polite and helpful. A perfect place for a getaway weekend lots to see and do weekend not really long enough
Another wonderful dining experience. Professional and courteous staff , delightful and tasty food, well presented and great variety. We loved it so much we havw rebooked to go agsjn for our 34 th wedding anniversary in May. Thank you for an outstandingevening and dining experience.
We were very disappointed with Breakfast buffet. We are Muslim and there was not much on offer by way of meats, it would have been nice to have some smoked salmon on offer. Also we ordered omelette from Egg station on Sunday and we did not make the mistake of accidentally ticking ham. But we got ham, quite off putting. It was for table no. 19 on Sunday 8th March. However, seafood for seafood buffet was good. Tried some rice and veg with my garlic and chilli mussels both of which were had and dry, so that went to waste. Stick to seafood.
Very disappointed with this buffet. For a 5 star resort to have buffet is fine, but not one that reminds you of walking into a country RSL club. The food was terrible and cold, atmosphere? There wasn’t one. And the service was terrible. It was very expensive for what you get. My suggestion, eat at one of the other restaurants. Please note: this is for dinner only, breakfast was good.
