About Jamie's Italian - Reykjavík
Jamie’s Italian started with what Italian’s are most proud of – fantastic, rustic dishes, using recipes that have been tried tested and loved. Our menu is rooted in authenticity, driven by what you’d find people eating all over Italy.
Taking inspiration from the “Italian table” – where people relax, share and enjoy each other’s company – our menu is packed full of antipasti and nibbles, perfect for sharing, as well as comforting bowls of pasta, beautiful fresh salads and grills.
Service 100% and food delicious
We had a wonderful first night’s meal!
Fantastic brunch and fantastic service! I will definitly come again!
I think that the quality of the food has declined. Initially and until last year i found your restaurant very good and was pleased with my and my family visit but now I don't think we will visit you i the need future. We were disappointed with the food.
Very nice. Good food and cozy atmosphere
Wonderful place. The go-to birthday dinner place of the family, both kids and parents. Always have a hidden surprise up their sleeves for the one having the birthday (as long as you let them know in advance). Love it.
Love the food
Service was slow and the room was noisy.
Second time I dine with you. Order the same main course as last time but it was under cooked and I felt like the cream in the sauce was missing. Also I thought the attitude in the head waiter was bad.
Top service, very tasty ribey steak and nice staff, I highly recoment this restaurant. Will come back to this restaurant many times in the future :)
Food was good but expensive. Service was spotty. Expected better from Jamie
Good food in relaxed atmosphere, we had an amazing night.
Understaffed: one waitress for at least ten tables, a host pulled in many different directions and chefs bringing food out. This meant no attention from the staff, which is not the experience I was expecting (or paying for). In a crowded market of restaurants, you only get one shot.
Good service cozy place
Long time waiting for food, water was from the heat water tub and atmosphere was not good.
Unfortunately we did not enjoy our experience to this restaurant. Our evening was a full catalogue of disappointment and basic errors. After ordering our drinks we only received 1 out of the 3 ordered and had to ask for the others. 3 of our 4 meals were served to us cold so were returned to the kitchen. This meant the other member of our party was left to eat her meal alone. Meanwhile our side order of chips got cold. We requested fresh side order to be served with our main meal. This was accepted but when they arrived (1/2 way through our main meals not served with our main) they were raw in the centre. One member of our party was finishing her meal when the waitress started to clear the rest and took her napkin too, having to be asked to leave it as it was still being used. After sharing our disappointment with the manager, we were offered our drinks for free, we had only had one drink each and one of our party was drinking free tap water. After some further discussion we were offered £55 off the meal, giving us the drinks (3 pints), garlic bread (this was good!) and raw chips for free- terrible service on many areas and potentially lethal serving cold and raw foods! Would not visit any Jamie’s again. Most disappointing as expected to have an amazing meal under this name (and price!) I would not recommend a visit to Jamie’s Reykjavik to anyone, If I could give it No Stars I would!
Great food, terrible service
very poor waiting on service - very disappointed Food quality not as good as it could have been - including some items over cooked even the light bulb over our table wasn't working, making a nice building feel a bit shabby. One would normally expect much better from a Jamie Oliver restaurant.
Food order got forgotten so we waited 60min for food to arrive. One pastadish arrived 15 min before the rest of the food and we asked for all the food to be braught together. The server put the pastadish under a heater while waiting for the rest so middle of the dish was hot the rest was cold. We got complimentary desert for the kids and chose the warm chocolate cake but those arrived cold.
Góður matur, fallegur staður. Aðeins of mikill kliður
Staff beyond excellent, flight delayed so late for reservation and needed to get out for lights tour so had limited time. Staff went out of their way to make sure we didn’t need to rush but managed to get some great food in a timely manner.
Tolle Atmosphäre und nette Menschen 👍
Nice atmosphere In this restaurant. I would say that the service is very slow, last night it took me three attempts to get a glass of red wine. The staff are friendly though. Convenient as we are staying at the hotel . After a long day of sightseeing it’s easy to pop down and have a nice meal.
This was the second time in two weeks we had eaten in Jamie Oliver's - once in London and then in Reykjavik . We had very enjoyable experiences both times.
