About Jamie's Italian
Jamie’s Italian is inspired by Jamie’s passion for the Italian way of life:
“Since I was a teenager I’ve been totally besotted by the love, passion and verve for food, family and life itself that just about all Italian people have, no matter where they’re from or how rich or poor they might be. And that’s what I’m passionate about – good food for everyone, no matter what… But the thing I love most about the Italians is that somehow, although they have some of the best fashion designers and cars in the world, they’ve managed to retain a unique sense of tradition and village spirit”. Jamie's in Dundrum is large, spacious, family friendly and serves Jamie's classic twist on Italian cuisine.
we had a great evening . food was great and service excellent. 2 things I'd say to improve on - 1. you should advertise the specials better on the evening - we'd had a look through the menus before hearing the specials -- would be better I think if the specials were printed out and attached to the menu . hard to re-think our initial choices and hard to recall teh specials once the waiter had talked through them. 2. i had the sirloin steak - which was great - but I'd say a few euros more than i'd like to pay for sirloin at 28.95 . alternately add an extra veg option to it like onions or mushrooms for that price point.
Had a lovely time. Food was great.
One for my party had steak, found it to be dry & thin, not very tasty. I had linguini with prawns, it was delicious.
Delicious food, nice people, great atmosphere. Totally recommended
It was all great. Always really pleasant, good food with proper choices for kids and reasonably priced. Thanks!
Plenty of staff but a bit hit and miss. Prices are high.
Food and atmosphere A1. Service could be improved in my opinion but overall a great restaurant
We have been regular customers of Jamie’s Dundrum for many years. We have now have almost 3yr old who we bring there all the time, and can’t fault the staff always made her feel welcome very family friendly
Lovely food, great service. Couldn't fault it to be honest.
Great evening. Enjoyed the experience
I love jaimies Italian dundrum. Food always great. Lovely atmosphere. Great value. Great service!
I scored low for atmosphere because myself my mum and daughter went for early lunch, earlier then we had booked. There was not much of an atmosphere at that time because it was not busy but that is not a bad thing it was just the time we were in there. We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return
The staffs are amazing!
Music was a bit loud but otherwise lovely atmosphere. Staff were professional and friendly really enjoyed our food and would definitely go back.
Pizza range needs to be re-invented
Food top notch as always, even if their menu and presentation has changed, was much nicer before i think. Only downer on the evening was the hostess, after seating us at approx 6.45, insisting we had to be gone for 8. I t was said very rushed and as she was leaving the table, without any ability to question this, when there were multiple other seats, for 2, that we would gladly have sat in. Our actual waiter was exemplary,a credit tot he restaurant but the attitude and manner of the hostess was rude and not at all welcoming
I reserved online and it was very easy but I made a mistake and called to amend. The lady on the phone was super helpful. The food was great, as usual. Had a lovely evening.
Excellent and very family friendly
Overpriced for mediocre food
Service was exceptional, it's obvious the staff are very well trained and it pays off, we will certainly visit again and have recommended to others already because it was such a relaxed, enjoyable evening.
Most enjoyable experience
I ate here several times. The Pizza Pepperoni is one of the best i’ve ever had. But the Sirloin Steak (€28.95) was an epic fail. I asked it medium rare and they served it medium well. Huge disappointment (you wouldn’s expect from such a big restaurant and for such a pricy dish). Go there for pizza, pasta or crispy polenta. If you want a steak, go to a proper steakhouse.
