About Jamie's Italian
Jamie’s Italian is inspired by Jamie’s passion for the Italian way of life:
“Since I was a teenager I’ve been totally besotted by the love, passion and verve for food, family and life itself that just about all Italian people have, no matter where they’re from or how rich or poor they might be. And that’s what I’m passionate about – good food for everyone, no matter what… But the thing I love most about the Italians is that somehow, although they have some of the best fashion designers and cars in the world, they’ve managed to retain a unique sense of tradition and village spirit”. Jamie's in Dundrum is large, spacious, family friendly and serves Jamie's classic twist on Italian cuisine.
great location, ample parking, would recommend to have a reservation before going as the venue is very popular. The food is really good, tasty and great service. the down side is that the restaurant is really noisy.
We had s fab time here last night. My son is a huge Jamie Oliver fan and was so excited to dine here. The reality was just as good as his expectations. Thanks so much
Food is always delicious, service is lacking a bit, waiting quite a while wouldn't take much to make it amazing but needs to be prompt & a little more friendly. The coffee is awful definitely wouldn't get a coffee again also no dairy alternative for milk which was very disappointing
Excellent restaurant, delighted to recommend it to everyone.
Couldn’t fault a single thing from the moment we entered to the moment we left. Fabulous food, staff and overall atmosphere. Loved it.
Love Jamie’s have been many times and each time it fantastic food amazing & staff/service great. We have a 3yr daughter & have been bring her there since she been 1 month old great place for kids very family friendly.
Had a delicious lunch here for my daughters confirmation. Prompt service, good food and nice atmosphere, just what we wanted.
Felt like a canteen. No atmosphere.
Our waiter was excellent.
We had a lovely time last Monday night celebrating my wedding anniversary in Jamie’s Italian Dundrum! Thank you for the glass of prosecco, we loved the treat!
Enjoyed lunch on here on Saturday, food was lovely and service was most efficient. Will be back :)
Jamie'S italian way impeccable from the antipasto to dessert. They adjust spaghetti meatballs to be dairy free for my 5 years old with no problem, the service was prompt and very kind. My Italian parents absolutely loved the food, and they are picky Italy as n eaters!!! We'll definitely come back, my diary allergic son wants to try the pizza :)
Brilliant place with a very welcoming and homy atmosphere. Fantasctic staff and service. We’ve been going there since the opening at least once a months and love it.
Super spot, excellent menu choices for adults and kids. Efficient friendly service
Super service waiter very attentive. Food was good, portion size was ok just felt it was a little expensive as to be honest food for an Italian was good but standard Italian fayre andnothing special
Lovely lunch with my daughter, good food, friendly staff. Online booking made it super convenient.
This was our last visit to Jamie's. Many of our favourite items in the menu (pizzas, crispy squid, carbonara) had their recipes changed, for the worst. New things we've been trying over our last visits were mediocre. I would rather they'd increase prices than lower quality.
Service was excellent. Food was good but nothing special. Crispy ravioli were tasteless but the dipping sauce is good. Burger isn't bad but it was better before they changed it back to more traditional. I like that the Caesar salad is back on the menu. Also 2 or 3 specials were good. Although they were a little pricey.
We enjoyed the experience and the food was good. The service could have been a little more attentive.
Much improved since my previous visit to Jamie’s. Will definitely be back again!
Having been to Jamie’s in London I see a significant difference in options available to Coeliacs. In London I was given a dedicated gluten free menu and could order GF pizza and bread, none of which is available in Dublin.
Good service and food, however Valpolicella wine was pricey and I would not recommend that wine in particular.
Great food and very family friendly. Can’t wait for our next visit!!
We love Jamie's. It's great for family dinner but also for date night. We went after the birth of our baby girl and have been going ever since . Was only there last week to celebrate my birthday.
From start to finish we had a lovely experience even though the restaurant was packed the staff were so friendly & we didn’t feel rushed at all like we have in other hotels in the past!
