About Jamie's Italian
Jamie’s Italian is inspired by Jamie’s passion for the Italian way of life:
“Since I was a teenager I’ve been totally besotted by the love, passion and verve for food, family and life itself that just about all Italian people have, no matter where they’re from or how rich or poor they might be. And that’s what I’m passionate about – good food for everyone, no matter what… But the thing I love most about the Italians is that somehow, although they have some of the best fashion designers and cars in the world, they’ve managed to retain a unique sense of tradition and village spirit”. Jamie's in Dundrum is large, spacious, family friendly and serves Jamie's classic twist on Italian cuisine.
We came with a large group for a team lunch, and staff were very attentive, food arrived promptly and with no-one waiting longer than anyone else for theirs. We will be back for more work lunches in future!
Had our staff party here and everybody can only say good things!!! The staff was great , even when we got a bit loud but we had a fantastic time.....thank you
Nice meal with good service and location.
Jamie’s is great place for all families/friends! Food and ambience class! You can always guarantee the best from @Jamie’s ITALIAN DUNDRUM 😊
Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch. We were nearly rolled out we were so stuffed!!
We had a really wonderful evening. The staff are particularly charming, efficient and attentive, the food was great. Thank you
I was very disappointed to see I was charged €36 for a bottle of house wine. It was more expensive then my meal. Other then that everything was superb
What a night we had here. Atmosphere, staff, food, absolutely outstanding. Restaurant was full and buzzing, staff were patient, helpful and their singing of happy birthday was exceptional. 🤣🤣 . From steak to pizza the food was delicious. A nice touch letting us cut and eat our birthday cake. Only moan is that Jamie’s Italian is too far from Belfast to nip out to on a Friday night 🤣🤣
miguel our server was attentive and a good host
The staff were all fantastic. The tables were a bit too close together- I acknowledge it’s Christmas and busy but v little room to park buggy. The manageress Leah was so professional- I had an issue where I left voucher at home but had email receipt of it. She made no fuss that wasn’t there- and I called her when I got home again and sorted it all. Service quick. Toilets clean. Food really lovely. Nice to know organic and where sourced. Was very good experience with 4 small kids.
I am always pleased with food and service in Jamie's. Our waiter was the best and was so helpful. Food was great and everyone loved it. My only negative is I think the size of dessert portions are shrinking every time I go!
Staff very friendly and professional. No rushing us out the door. Very relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyable birthday celebration. Complimentary glass of prosecco for the birthday boy was a nice touch!
Nice meal , good place for young kids due to speed of service and food and toilets vicinity.
Will certainly go back again!
Child pizza needs to be improved. Everything else was v nice and service was v good
It was very chaotic when we arrived, waited 10 minutes to be shown to our table, even tho we had booked. Then we were told that the table had to be given up at 8:15- it wasn’t needed in the end, and our dinner just arrived at 8:30. But was a pity to start the evening feeling that we might be rushed off at some stage during the night. It started the night off a bit badly. Food was great, atmosphere lovely and in the end we enjoyed the evening.
Had a lovely meal!
Lovely food and atmosphere. Great value for money.
Disappointed with the level of service.
I was disappointed because the table for 2 we got was small, cramped and beside a busy work station. We were in a tight corner looking down at 2 spacious tables with couples a them. When I asked why I was told that tables were allocated on a first come first served basis. Hardly the consistency one would expect. Won't be going back.
The food was nicely presented, but there are few points to take on: - it was over-salted (everything - the soup, the salad (not edible! - eventually you did not charge me for it, thanks, so at least the service was professional), - Turkey Ravioli pasta was under-cooked and salty - the chicken burger was not what we expected (it was more a breaded schnitzel, and completely not was was described; also super-salty! - overall all was salty and dry, looked like it was just assembled quickly from a ready made frozen food, so completely unexpected! - The non alcoholic mohito was nice, though, and so was the Procescco. - Coffee arrived cold (!) - Tea - incorrectly brewed! I would expect black tea to be served brewing already, as the water served was not hot enough. It was desperate... Please take this feedback in a positive way, the service was nice and the venue is pleasant, it was just a big disappointment... as I booked it for my husband's birthday. Thanks.
Couldn't use our 'one for all vouchers' but could use our Dundrum vouchers. Not your fault though. An idea for the future? Great day, thanks!
