Brel’s wee brother is coming to Finnieston, and he’s bringing a whole lot of cheese. Run by the same local owner as its big brother and just a stone’s throw from The Hydro and SEC, Jacques combines great food (did we mention the cheese?) with a cosy, fun restaurant and a drinks menu that will have you cheers-ing every night of the week. Think all-you-can-eat raclette and fondue (with Glasgow’s first vegan fondue!), toasted s’more Martinis, Belgian classics, a roaring fire, and a giant fairylit oak tree. Say hello to your new favourite spot.
Cheeseburger was fabulous!
the restaurant has just been sold and is going through some rebranding, which is currently confusing. it will be called Finn Market and not Chelsea market any more. the menus have been updated but there are no signs outside the building and the website is not updated yet. hopefully when all the changes are complete it wont detrimentally affect the great vibe and food that was at Chelsea market.
Best cooked scallops I have ever had in a restaurant.
Really good combination of elements - food, wine, service and atmosphere
Great place for dinner, buzzing atmosphere.
Great place...but found staff a bit unpleasant. Had to ask for things more than once.
The food was good but the Monkfish curry was the smallest plate of curry I have had in my life, and I've had many a curry. 3 pieces of monkfish in the smallest dish of sauce I have seen and charged around £19. Not on!
Roast Cod was outstanding. Oreo Cheescake was delicious and inventive
Friendly staff, good food in a relaxed setting.
we were disappointed with the food. It was very average. One of our party had to send back her main course as it was cold.
My husband and I were not too happy with our meal at CM last night. Did not enjoy my starter of pate or the chicken dish I chose. My husbands' fish was rather dry. That's my fourth visit to CM and the worst! Will not rush back. Also man sat behind my husband was constantly burping and was quite disgusting. Not happy at all last night!
Amazing food. The best food I have eaten in a long time. I can't wait to go back.
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Quick but not rushed service. Lovely place for dinner before a gig at the Hydro.
This was my first experience at Chelsea Market and it exceed my expectations! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great and the staff were fab. Will definitely be back!
Friendly staff. Food was mixed. The crispy squid delicious, the tomato stew could have been more flavoursome. The chicken and duck were good and the cod whilst nicely cooked lay on a bed of risotto which was frankly terrible. The panna cotta was delicious
