About Jacobs and Field
Breakfast, brunch, lunch, cakes and dinner
Great food and service.
Great place for lunch - good atmosphere, lovely food and friendly service.
Delicious eggs royale and great coffee!
Hi great family celebration meal. Lovely sort of boho atmosphere. Attentive but un fussy staff. Food excellent, generous helpings. Good clean washrooms. Thanks for your part in making it a celebration to remember.
We have been here many times and everything is consistently excellent
Lovely brunch and friendly staff
Had a really delicious chicken salad, never thought salad could taste so good! Great service and atmosphere too. Highly recommend, along with sister, Jacobs Inn in Wolvercote. Thanks
I was not told either when booking (I had booked a table for 8.00 pm) or when we arrived at the restaurant that you closed at 9.00 pm on Saturday night. We tried to order another drink at 9.30 to be told you were closed! Not good.
Great food as always!
Really enjoyed our meal!
Lovely coffee, friendly service.
Enjoyable as always - we've been to a number of Jacob's establishments and never been disappointed. A favourite when we're in the Oxford area because of the relaxed atmosphere, good food and ease of access. As a regular driver, my only suggestion would be to add some low-alc/non-alc beers to the drinks menu.
Please add beans on toast to your breakfast menu, your beans are INSANE
Relaxed atmosphere. Great service and food.
Friendly, attentive staff. Good food.
Unfortunately some of the pork dish was uneatable. Very slow service on drinks and the card payment didn't work.
We were initially given a table by the door - which we did not want - but were moved to a booth which was better. That table would have been very drafty. I think if people book as we did, they should not be given that table as it is clearly unpopular and remained empty all the time we were there.
Service very good but initially took a little bit of time to order. However, after that the service was excellent and the waiter took all of our strange requests. Sat near the door and the restaurant was quite cold though
I love Jacobs and field and go there often. However the other evening was such a shame it took forever to get our order, are drinks came and they where warm when we ordered milkshakes. The service was very slow and didn’t feel valued as a customer. The food was still very good! And still recommend.
Smashing pork, mash and gravy. Really yummy Sauvignon, although a tad pricey at £22. Sticky toffee pud was divine. All 3 waiting staff were smiley, efficient and skilled. Love the booties. Only issue is the condensation build up on the windows. Would deffo recommend.
A fabulous venue for a celebratory brunch. Staff were very helpful, portions were very generous.
Excellent. Lovely cafe, helpful and friendly staff, delicious food.
Macaroni cheese stodgy and gave rise to indigestion. Very uninspiring. steak burger was fine but over-priced, the person having the pizza didn't comment. The cider was really good. We failed to see how you could run out of early grey tea, when there is a Waitrose next door. You weren't busy, so for customer satisfaction surely someone could have popped next door for some tea! I recently had reason to complain about a very poor chicken salad, and I was assured that the menu The menu seemed very similar to before, and I still feel it is not worth the money.
Lovely brunch at Jacobs and Field.
Yummy Food, great buzz about the restaurant and very friendly service.
