INDIAN STREET FOOD
Food was very nice but quite small portions my chicken dish had 4 tiny pieces of chicken in it so still felt hungry after I had finished my meal.
Great all round experience
Food taste and quantity is okay. I felt I was eating home food instead of restaurant one which is good actually but I was looking for that indian street food taste which was missing completely. I ate pav-bhaji & mysore masala dosa. Review is accordingly.
The food was very tasty and we enjoyed it however the service at times was very slow especially when waiting to order and waiting to pay. It was very busy so possibly due to this. We would return though
Great food, friendly service and great decor. Will definitely be going again once lockdown is over!
We’d been recommended this place by a couple of people so decided to give it a try. Will not be going there again. My starter was astonishingly bland and not tasty at all, I couldn’t even finish it. The mains are all over priced for the quantity you are getting; it’s a tiny bowl and you have to order naan or rice separate which wouldn’t be awful if the curry was a decent size. My friend had a hair in her curry and they came and tried to blame it on us saying ‘there were no men working in the kitchen’. She pulled the hair deep out of the curry and her hair was tied up so not her.
One of my favourite street food restaurant
Love the food here. Always had great service and can’t wait to come back
Staff were excellent, the food was brilliant we had a night to remember
Lovely place with great food, my third visit & always excited to go back! The best garlic naan’s ever! The only reason I dropped a star for service on this occasion, is just because the drinks service was a little slow & was brought through incorrectly a couple of times. Other than that, it’s a great place and the Butter Chicken curry is out of this world!
Really enjoyed the experience, from the service to the food to the ambiance. The items I ordered were (and have always been in previous visits) delicious, my only small suggestion would be to pay attention to the right balance with the starters - with limited sauce they do tend towards dry. But still very tasteful, so thank you!
It was really good
I had totally got the time wrong by half and hour and they still managed to accommodate us. The food was really good! We can’t wait to come back and hope they get the support they need to reopen after lockdown. Thank you for a great experience
Great service and food. Thank you for a lovely evening!
This place was impeccable. Cannot fault the lovely staff and incredible food
Good quality food, particularly the South Indian dishes.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food!
Delicious food and lovely staff , amazing night
Excellent food in pleasant surroundings with friendly attentive staff. I only have one comment which was that the Madurai Masala Dosa was very crispy. It would have been better smaller and not so crisp. Did enjoy it despite my comment. Will definitely return as soon as we can.
The food was great service was still decent even with the new ppe requirements but starter did not come at the same time but the kitchen was quite busy so and it was a Sunday was not offered another drink at the time but I would definitely return
Much more taste needed. Please use your spice rack thank you
Great food. Chilli squid incredible.
The restaurant is very cold which slightly spoiled the experience
Really good Indian food. Great menu with excellent selection of veggie dishes and some very nice cocktails. Waiting staff were very helpful and service was good. Bill was extremely reasonable for a lovely night out.
Perfect evening , Food was great The staff went above and beyond the call of duty . It was a lovely evening . My only reservation was the temperature in the restaurant . It was cold and I didn’t feel like taking off my jacket . If it was warmer in the restaurant, it would have been perfect.
