The lovechild of Nic Watt and Darren Johnson, INCA adds Peruvian flair to Newmarket’s rooftop restaurants. The Aztec-themed decor is a breath of fresh air in the Auckland dining scene, with the aroma of the wood-fire burning in the open kitchen. Broaden your horizons the freshest ceviche in hot and sour sauces, crispy fish tacos with lemon mayo, and Japanese-inspired furikake aubergine.
Expected to have more variety on the menu. Having visited Peru, I was looking forward to Lomo Saltado and other Peruvian dishes. No liquor license also made our visit a bit dull. Anyway we will keep looking at the website if there are any changes
Such a great night, beautiful food, super attentive great staff, thank you.
Expensive but delicious
Delicious, creative dishes with flair
This was the second time I've been to Inca and the first time for my husband and now he is addicted and wants to go back to try everything else. The meals were amazing, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was cool, not too much. We will definitely be back and could perhaps be one of our local eateries now.
Food was excellent and there was a range of dishes that suited all tastes.
10/10. Loved the food service atmosphere. You guys have nailed it. Well done. Third time back and will continue to return.
The food was delicious, we really enjoyed and definitely coming back. Thank you
Very good service to start but never got offered desert or coffee and just ignored after mains served. No excuse as restaurant was largely empty by then.
Food was delicious and the staff were super attentive! Thanks for a great night :)
We love your food. Its very healthy with great flavor.
Great food and service. I will definitely book again.
Amazing food. We will be back for the Pacifica Ceviche, Karaage Chicken and Ribs. Amazing service from both the Maître’D & our waiter. It was my partner’s birthday and because we missed dessert they comp’d his beer which was so lovely. Highly recommend.
The food and service was outstanding, we had the set menu. Atmosphere was let down a tiny bit by lack of sound damping meaning it got very loud when full
I didn't know what to expect as we were being adventurous joining some friends for dinner at Inca. Having never tried Peruvian inspired food, my partner and I ordered the "Let us feed you" set menu and would now recommend it to anyone we know. As each plate came out, we were pleasantly surprised at how all the singular ingredients came together to create such a delicious mix of flavours. For example, I'm not a huge fan of raw fish, yet the ceviche and sashimi were among my favourites of the night. Definitely on the pricier side, however we left extremely satisfied.
Fantastic evening, amazing food, great atmosphere. Thank you very much! Perfect.
All the staff who helped us out were super accommodating and made sure everything was sorted for us. Also the food was absolutely delicious!!
Food amazing, service friendly and efficient
Fabulous food, great atmosphere & service. Highly recommended. Awesome job team.
I've been to Inca before and always enjoyed myself, last night was the exception. Despite booking we were offered a table right by the door although the restaurant was half empty - after a lengthy discussion we were able to obtain a more private table. the service was prompt and polite, the margaritas nice but the food (karage chicken, fish tacos and soft shell crab) all were tasteless and I m not even sure there was any crab in the crab. We ordered a bottle of wine (temperanillo) - but this was so ordinary I decided at this point to leave - leaving a full bottle of wine behind. We went to Little Jimmys and had a gorgeous bottle of wine and a pizza for a similar price in a pleasant atmosphere. Im sorry but you have lost a customer
Laura was our main waitress and she was fantastic! She has been working at the restaurant for a long time as we’ve seen her before and she never disappoints! Service was superb and ceviches were so yum! We will keep going back, that guacamole is winner of winners too! Thanks so much for the hospitality!
Decent lunch. Corn and sweet potato fritters were great. Was not a fan of the karaage chicken - it was drowned in sauce so the chicken had no crunch like it’s meant to.
A very unique dining experience. The fusion really shines through in every dish. The wine we chose was also full bodied and great on the palette. Highly recommended for a casual lunch or even a group dinner setting.
