About il Pirata
Trendy restaurant with quirky decor and a casual vibe serving creative, contemporary Italian dishes.
I'm pirata is one of our favourite places to eat, and we brought some visiting family along and they were really impressed with the food, drink and service. I was so happy to be able to get the gnocchi side too despite it not being on the menu...thanks for that...never stop doing those! Desserts this time were great too, that white choc panna cotta mmm :-D
Il Pirata continues to be one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast. Never had a bad meal or service in all my visits.
We took friends as they have never been before. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, however, if I was being totally honest I felt the pork ragu was a little bland. I felt it lack depth of flavour. It certainly wouldn’t put me off going back but I would choose something different.
Good food, perfect service... all what you need to have a nice dinner !
Service was great, chloe was wonderful!
Along with Buba , Il Pirata is amongst the very best restaurants in Belfast. Keep up the great work!
Excellent as always! Service and food are outstanding
Great to some old favourites back on the menu. Food last night could not be faulted .Staff as always get 10 out 10. Again as with the food good to see some old staff favourites back as well.
We had a delicious meal and will definitely be back in the near future.
Delicious food, friendly service and a lively setting - so lucky to have your restaurant on my doorstep.
Booked in for the 3 Antipasti & carafe deal for £16. Food was delicious and as we chose this offer as our main course, this gave us a choice of tasty dishes to enjoy. Superb value!
Great food at a great price. The teramasu was just sublime
We had a lovely evening the food was delicious, we both had the pasta dishes & they were delicious had the beetroot starter also delicious it’s my fav place in Ballyhackamore to eat
Honestly our favourite place to eat.. it’s lovely no matter what you order,we can never choose as it’s all so good so we order ALOT of food lol Although we’d love if the goat meatballs and duck ravioli came back :) such lovely staff and a nice chilled out atmosphere. All at a reasonable price..Love it! Plus the cocktails are worth a try :)
Lovely staff as always. Tried new pasta dishes and they were really excellent.
I suspect there was an understaffing issue the evening we were there. The email told us we had to give up our table after 2 hours but we waited about 45 minutes between starter and main so we felt a little under pressure towards the end as 1 member of our group chose to have dessert. Our mains were served at different times also so I felt rude eating my pizzetta while friends waited but it was over 5 minutes until theirs appeared on so I wanted to eat mine while it was warm. Apart from the long waits the servers were lovely.
I will email you my comments.
Food and service were both superb. This was our third visit and hopefully won’t be to long for the fourth. My wife and I both love you duck ragu.
Great food varied menu, we will be back
We enjoyed the special deal -3 antipasti and a carafe of wine. Amazing!! We had a friend with us who was home from N. Zealand and she was very impressed with the food, staff and ambience. Thank you for a lovely evening!!
