Excellent dining experience
Victor and his staff were excellent.
Our fault ... we were early and we agreed to sit in the corridor! Noisy ... so much so we couldn’t talk across the table !
Was a comedy to behold ! Good food but mix up on the orders and a hilarious attempt at getting one dessert to the table ! Still all in all quite enjoyable!
pretty noisy sitting in the perimeter area … waiter was not too attentive this time !! seemed like he was swamped !!

lamb was a bit over done, but all the other food like duck or beef stew were good... we will surely come back next time when we are back here for our vacations. However, the survey design has some problem. For instance, the contents below this part of the survey is beyond understanding and we have no idea what those bunch of figures plus symbols represent.

8 people with us and everyone couldn’t believe how fantastic the food was! Service was the best: Jorge was the best, he made the experience excellent. Everyone is excited for our next visit.
Victor was great in taking our orders but his assistant always delivered the items to the wrong people at our table! This happened on ALL the courses, plus he forgot our 3 coffees and 1 tea with our desserts!!
Fabulous dinner and pleasant atmosphere!
This restaurants food, service and ambiance is fantastic. As you enter you are met by Esmeralda who always has a smile and genuinely is happy to see you. Regardless of the server, you will have fantastic service (my favourite is Rene), but honestly any waiter will give you top notch service and finally their manageri Daniel is an absolute professional and also very friendly. My favourite restaurant hands down at any of the El Cid restaurants. My favourite meal is the salad as an entry and the beef in mushroom sauce followed by the cream brûlée’
The pork was very over cooked and was served with potatoes only, should add some veggies for color and complement. The beef bourgignon was pretty mediocre unfortunately. We will go back and try other items on the menu. Thanks
Excellent service fron Victor and helpers. Salmon was a little bit over cooked. But we really enjoyed our evening.
Filet with blue cheese sauce was in the top 3 best ever steaks of all time. Wait staff exceptional! Every meal in our table of four was top shelf. Thanks for the experience.

Daniel is the best manager at any of the el Cid restaurants. The food is excellent and the ambiance is awesome. My favourite restaurant at this resort.
Food quality was less than expected. The best restaurant, La Trattoria, is much better. The wine list for Platinum members is inadequate. Even the 600 pesos wines are cheap, simple wines, costing retail $7 to $10 US. Where are the good Mexican wines? El Cid can do better.
Food is just mediocre here, steaks were tough, and uneventful. Pasta appetizer was the best!
Authentic or traditional does not describe this menu at all. First French onion soup is not traditional in any way. Not covered in melted cheese only a very small crouton with a dab of cheese. Bread is Italian focaccia bread nothing French about that, no French baguette. No sparkling Perrier water, no escargot, even the lamb had no mint jelly, and portion was one bite per chop. Chairs are not cleaned and had spots so need to watch where you sit. After dinner requested tea, it was Lipton, had to laugh at that! The atmosphere is tables and chairs, no decorations no painting etc, pretty bland non French restaurant. Our waiter Carlos kept apologizing and said that the food is pretty much the same in all the restaurants, even at the Delores area by the pool. This is not quality expensive food. Had no alcohol because waiter could not go to bar and even get a CC (Canadian club). Only served at the bar. Had one champagne but the waiter put I win it because it was not cold....what? Where in France do they put ice in champagne! So insignificant dinner and not a great eve out! Would not likely return to this restaurant.
Amazing food! Daniel our waiter, was so attentive and helpful with recommendations. Wine selection was excellent and prices were fair.
