Your young waiter (I can’t remember his name) is excellent. He served our table both times we went. The food is great. However the second time we went the main dishes were not hot, but just warm. None of the three chocolate lava cakes was hot and they had no melted chocolate inside. Martinis and cosmo were excellent.
It just keeps getting better and better. Wonderful experience with our meal and the service. Steak was done to perfection. Rene, our waiter is the best. Love this restaurant.
El Cid needs to hire another 50 Rene's. He is by far the best waiter at the resort with a personality that will leave you with a smile. So pleasant and funny. The food is also fantastic:)
I enjoy eating here not only because the food is delicious but also no children are allowed. I do miss the tablecloths that use to be used.
This resort & all the restaurants on it cater to food allergies!!! I’m allergic to gluten & dairy . They’ve been excellent with my needs! We stayed here for 2 weeks & not sick once!! Highly recommend this resort! Staff is outstanding!! Great job Ventus & El Cid Marina 😊
We were so looking forward to eating at this restaurant because it's resort formal and have a "no kids after 7pm" policy. Unfortunately, Ile de France does nothing to transform between breakfast buffet and a la carte evening dining. I expected table cloths, candles on the tables (there were holders but no candles), and dimmer lighting (especially in the extension area). Because of all the hard surfaces it was very loud. Choose the "La Marina" restaurant instead which has fewer tables and has delicious food. We ate there twice during our week stay at Ventus.

We have eaten and enjoyed this restaurant in the past with always great service and food. This time it "seemed" as if it was under staffed because the waiters were so busy trying to keep the patrons happy, running around taking orders, delivering food, and to maintain the atmosphere which it (The Resturant) was created to portray as a fine French Establishment. This one time will not stop us from coming back. All in all a great place to attend.
too many choice of fish on the menu for the Italian Restaurant. Should have chicken parmesan or Osso Bucco, or any thing similar. Even at the Marina Restaurant, you don’t offer 3 choice of fish. Too much sun at the Ventus pools. Should have umbrellas. I do prefer the Marina. Uildings better than the Ventus.
The steak at the French Restaurant was awesome and the atmosphere was great. The servers were very friendly and made you feel so welcome
The food was very bland. The kitchen did not know how to make a medium fillet. The food came out twice incorrectly. The service was slow. The biggest disappointment was that the creme brulee had the texture of flan, which is absolutely not the same. We ordered another one just in case it was an accident. The waiter proceeded to make judgmental comments about us ordering another one (we couldn't stomach the texture of the first one). The creme brulee was the exact same. Flan and creme brulee are two different things with two different textures.
Again the service, the food and atmosphere was very good. We will be eating there again!

The filet was very tough had a hard time cutting it even with a steak knife. Victor and Alex were awesome.
You need to hire more waiters. Those that you have now physically could not be at every table at the same time. They literally ran all the time trying to serve everyone, but it is not possible for one person to do so much. This situatiin actually made me feel bad about them in one side, and to feel myself as an snob which I don't like.

Food delicious, portion size generous, but server forgot to take a drink order first. The pace of the meal was very slow and others were served two courses between our salad and main.
One of the best beef filets I have ever had. Perfectly prepared!
