We really enjoyed our brunch in hyde, it was top class. My evening dinner however was slightly cold and potato fondant was hard in the middle. The drinks were delicious the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great!!
Staff were friendly and service was excellent
Always have the best experience in Hyde. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We absolutely love going to Hyde,it's the best spot in Galway. We never want to leave!
Great food & drinks
Lovely hotel, rooms are bright & well presented. Food superb. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Will definitely go back.
A cocktail would be better served in a proper cocktail glass. Food was very good and a major step up from last time where steak was very poor (a number of months ago)
Great food lovely atmosphere, super staff
Lovely meal in the bar. Food was delicious as was the cocktails and great service overall. If I had to make one comment it would be on 10OZ Sirloin Steak which I absolutely loved and it was cooked to perfection but I would have expected a bit more vegetables with it. All it came with was a side sauce along with a tomato and a mushroom with a plate of chips. It would have been nice to see a bit more vegetables. But I have to say, the size of steak and the way it was cooked was so good I would still probably order it again. A top restaurant. I will definitely be back again!
Loved the place and even at 11 am on a Sunday it had a cosy atmosphere with a good number of people but excellent social distancing in operation
The staff and atmosphere was amazing they were so accommodating. We had cocktails and desserts which were all top class! Thank you we will definitely be back again
Incredibly rude staff, will never return. Overpriced for what it is. Unless you’re into the Instagram snob factor of overpaying, you won’t enjoy it.
Fabulous food, atmosphere and decor was beautiful. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. Loved the place. Will definitely be back
Such a lovely place and atmosphere! I will definitely be back! 😊
Good food and great service. The majority of the restaurant has a funky feel with good use of colour and fittings in most of the areas, however the alcove area is staid and boring in comparison. Having been sat in the alcove area for our meal, we felt a bit disappointed.
Really enjoyed our meal, the food was lovely, staff were excellent and the restaurant has taken all covid regulations into consideration which was reassuring
lovely staff, cocktails and food. made my birthday so special❤️ will definitely be back x
We had a really nice time
Such a fab place! Great food, drinks, everything!
Service was great, cocktails and food were excellent, looking forward to coming back
Nice interior of bar/restaurant. Prawns were frozen and not fresh, we were overcharged by 3 extra items on our bill which was confusing how this error happened. It was nice, but we have had better meals
Dine around package 2020. 1520-Hyde-an pucan We started in 1520 for starters. The staff where lovely and the service was great along with the cocktails. Then we moved to Hyde for mains where our server Keith was by far the the highlight of the night. He was extremely nice and chatty and was able to answer any questions we had about the menus or drinks. By the the time we reached an pucan for dessert the bouncer at the door was extremely rude to us from the moment we walked up. He pulled two of us out of the line and asked them multiple questions about where they where how much they drank. Then refused one person because they only had one form of ID and then the second because “ he was two drunk”. Now bare in mind the rest of us had been let in without a second look, no ID was asked to be shown or anything. I tried explaining to the bouncer that we had already booked and prepaid for this dinner and that we had been in two of your bars already tonight and that is was the persons 20th birthday who you where refusing entry to. I also stated that we all had 2 drinks each with our meals over the past 3 hours and offered to show receipt as proof of this. We had no hassle of any staff in either of your other two venues that night And your bouncer replied “ I couldn’t care less” and that “ sure that’s not my problem”. I then went inside and asked to see a manager and I was told there was none at the moment but “ a message would be passed on”. Then I asked for a refund because we where not going to come in and send the person who we where celebrating home, which the response was “ that’s nothing got to do with us here”. This whole situation took away over 45 minutes of our night with no resolution, so we decided to walk to the pub across the road where we where kindly welcomed in by the door man without any hassle and enjoyed the remainder of the night. I am a bartender in a well regarded hotel in Galway city centre and 5 out of 6 of us who where out that night are working in bars or restaurants in the city aswell. in my opinion I think If you’re going to promote a night out across 3 venues in the city, and ask for full payment of all attendees up front before hand, I would expect that you should be giving your customers the full experience that you advertised and they paid for. An pucan honestly ruined our night and my best friends birthday. 1520 and Hyde really outshined an pucan that night and they really ruined the whole experience which is honestly a shame for such a well regarded bar in Galway city. Extremely disappointed
Friendly staff.Lovely atmosphere.Good service and food.
Stunning bar, great food and delicious cocktails.
