About Howies Chapel Street
A short walk from the main shopping district, our Aberdeen restaurant is a wee cracker. Actually, it’s a rather larger cracker with capacity of up to 170 people. Two separate private dining rooms and a large courtyard create a relaxed and stylish atmosphere.
excellent well cooked meal and pleasant evening.
We were delighted with every aspect of our visit and will definitely be back, We were very impressed by the Manager and Staff and the food was outstanding. Thank you very much.
Excellent service. Delicious food and wine at reasonable prices. Allergies catered for without question. I will definitely go again and recommend Howies to my friends.
An early evening meal, quick friendly service, pleasant atmosphere.
We had a great family meal within one of the private rooms. Food was great as was the service from start to finish. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I would definitely use Howie’s again.
Lovely food, great service will definitely be back.
Starters we’re quite small (that’s from my 10 year old). Waitress was brilliant, really friendly and helpful.
Booked meal for a get together. Couldn’t fault the food, it was excellent and everyone thought the same. It’s nice to be able to go to a restaurant where you can actually talk to each other without having to shout. What would have made our experience even better than it was, would have been able to sit at a round table. As there were seven of us, felt it was hard to speak to the person at the end of the table. Perhaps this is something Howies could look in to in the future as could only see long tables. It won’t keep me away though as have never had a bad meal there and staff are always on hand and polite. Thank you Howies for a very nice time.
Everything was excellent, except for my cafe latte. I had asked for it to be as hot as possible but, unfortunately, it was cold.
Excellent food and service
First class restaurant. I shall return.
Excellent food and service. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely can not fault a single thing, we dined for the pre 1830 menu so 2 courses for £14.95 food was superb , generous helpings. Waiting staff were all lovely, friendly and attentive . Highly recommend
Lunch is highly recommended. The service is efficient and not too intrusive. Seated straight away and tended to immediately. When ordering we were recommended the Pork dish for main and was certainly not disappointed. Can’t wait for a return visit.
A couple of very noisy tables around us were a bit annoying and there was a problem in the kitchen with timings and so dessert was very slow to arrive however the staff dealt with this very well, explaining and offering a free drink for inconvenience. Food was excellent too. Recommended.
Very attentive service, with nice welcome, thanked for visiting, and all staff we passed said goodbye. We went as part of Aberdeen Restaurant Week not having visited for several years. I’m sure we will be back, even if it is just to check that you are offering some treat with coffees.
