About Howies Chapel Street
Just a short walk from the main shopping district, our Aberdeen restaurant is a wee cracker. Actually, it’s a rather large cracker with capacity for up to 170 people. Two separate private dining rooms and a large courtyard create a relaxed and stylish atmosphere.
Scottish, seasonal and seriously tasty, the menus are packed with local produce full of flavour and fantastic value for money.
Due to coronavirus there was little atmosphere but staff were very attentive and service was excellent.
Good food and excellent service. Would recommend Howies to anyone.
This is one of the restaurants that we as a group of women love to go to. The food is always excellent and we never fell feel rushed.
Excellent lunch with great choice. Will definitely be back!
Lovely evening. Delicious food. Very attentive staff. Excellent value. Thank you so much for looking after us so well and for making it a really enjoyable evening.
Fantastic again! Visit Howies when I can - it was great to bring my parents this time too. I'd highly recommended and look forward to my next visit! 🍽🍷👏
Been here many times for dinner and will certainly be back again.
The food was really good. I had the salmon which was beautifully cooked and served with mussels and mash which complemented the salmon very well. We also had the focaccia to share which was also really good. Our waitress, Robyn was lovely and very friendly. Would definitely come back.
Fab meal before heading to the Music Hall. Tasty food, enjoyed looking at the location map to see where food was sourced. Staff all friendly and attentive without being overly so. Will not hesitate to come back again. Thank you
Howies is a warm, friendly restaurant serving really tasty food with great variety and very good value for money
Couldn’t fault anything. Very nice meal. Varied menu. Drinks good. Service attentive and friendly.
Good, tasty, well presented food. Pleasant, efficient service. Well worth making a booking.
We used an itison voucher and the meal was terrific value for money.
Food and drink very good. Staff Friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our lunch with friends.
Excellent all round, great good, great food, great surroundings and great service would definitely recommend!
Wonderful place to eat, as usual - though we did have to wait quite a long time for our order to be taken and we noticed that other folk that came in after us, had their order taken in before us and were served before us. Hence the score of 4 for Service.
Excellent as usual! Visited Howies in Aberdeen for the fourth time and as usual it was excellent. Lovely ham hock terrine served with pickles followed by haddock and chips with mushy peas and super tartar sauce. This is one of my favourite restaurants. Nice attentive but not in your face service too. Look forward to returning when next in Aberdeen.
As always the food and service were excellent. The only downside was the Pinot Grecia which was not particularly enjoyable.
The food was delicious and the waiting staff were super nice and accommodating as we were a big group. It was a fun birthday lunch in a lovely setting.
Service was faultless, fantastic was tasty and fresh a bit disappointing after giving feedback on fish pie that nobody came over to discuss it with us. There was a flickering light that was annoying and draft form someplace that meant my hubby had to have scarf across hos back that why lower score for atmosphere
Had a lovely meal & great service
First time at howies and wasnt disappointed. Loved it and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Our waitress was not the most helpful person, plentiful use of the word no.
Excellent as always from my favourite restaurant in Aberdeen. The guy who served us was really friendly and the food was beautiful. We were absolutely stuffed!
