Great food, great atmosphere and customer services was perfect. Thank you
We had an excellent meal in a very relaxed atmosphere. The service couldn’t have been better, the staff coped very well with the Horsebox and a large wedding taking place at the same time. Will certainly recommend and be back ourselves.
Lovely food and atmosphere. Splendid service.
Thank you very much for a lovely meal and lovely service. The staff were extremely helpful and the ambience was wonderful. We felt comfortable and enjoyed our evening. The food was delicious and well-presented. We thoroughly recommend the whole experience!
Great venue, very attentive service
Food was very overpriced for what it was. A simple curry cost £18 and 4 small pieces of bread with butter was £5. My friend had gnocchi and it was nothing like gnocchi. 10 cubes of fried potato...very odd. Such a small portion size compared to the rest and most definitely not recognisable as gnocchi. Service was great, staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Interior design beautiful but could do with some louder upbeat music to improve atmosphere.
Disappointing that no one came to ask whether we were happy with our meal. Didn't leave a jug of water on the table - took it back to the bar. Gave us menus for dessert but never came back to take the order so after half an hour of waiting we left. Shame.
A wonderful meal to top off a fantastic birthday weekend with my girlfriend at Ellenborough Park
Should be given a wine bucket when purchasing a bottle of wine.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.
The meal for two was well executed and in one sense hard to criticise; that said having paid over £100 for 2 × 2 courses plus a bottle of wine, it was not exceptional. Waiters were attentive and enthusiastic, the obligatory jazz / blue grass played in the background. The main eating area is quite dimly lit but this is not really a romantic venue. If you eat on a day when the main restaurant is also open, upscaling is worth it for something more memorable.
Difficult to imagine that the food came from the same kitchen as The Restaurant at Ellenborough. Some dishes average (Ribeye steak) some very good (steak pie). Attention to detail missing. One dish should have had a duck egg....instead it was a hen's egg. Freshly baked bread was on the menu yet the bread arrived toasted!!?? Pea & Mint soup....mint so subtle that you did not know it was there????
More choice in the menu needed.
Staff were lovely and friendly. Loved this hotel full stop!! X
Lovely food and attentive service. We had lunch there following a spa morning. The restaurant was quiet and lacked atmosphere but the staff were excellent.
Food good enough for the price but menu pretty limited
Really enjoyed it - Lana excellent - but everyone really friendly and made us feel welcome. Will be back!
The Service was very good, very attentive, however the food was a disappointment, the curry was extremely watery and looked like the rice had hardly been drained.
Waitress Lana was excellent. Friendly and informative. Food good, wine expensive but nice. ask to sit in the Snug after dinner to enjoy your coffee.
Amazing food! Amazing service! Well worth a visit! Thank you
We had a fab day. The service and food were great. Thank you
Wonderful service and one of the best meals I’ve had
Wonderful lunch - staff were excellent
The food was ok but no better than a good pub serving food and it was at least twice the price £30.00 extra for two lagers and two glasses of wine would be ok if the food was special but it wasn’t
Superb food and service. Thank you.
