This is our 3rd visit in 6 weeks.
Always have a lovely meal and excellent service. This is my 3rd time now. Looking forward to returning with more friends next year
Lovely meal as always. See you again soon.
We enjoyed a lovely family meal in this characterful setting. Real log fire and a delightful raspberry gin. It was a Thursday night and we were one of only two bookings... would've been a better atmosphere if there had been more diners.
Many years since we’ve been here due to the fact we live out of the area now. As it was a milestone birthday for my husband, thought it would be nice to revisit ‘old haunts’! We were not disappointed. Excellent food, service and ambiance. Excellent choice of wines at prices to suit everyone. We will definitely be returning for an evening meal and will stay over at a local hotel in order to enjoy the food and the wine! Five stars!!
Would like half bottles of champagne
We had a very pleasant evening at the High Moor, the level of service excellent, the food delicious and the surroundings warm and inviting. We will be returning soon I hope.
It's been 8 years since my wife and I had been to Highmoor, (we have moved out of the area), but it holds a special place for us in that I proposed, and she accepted, some years ago at the restaurant. We were very pleased to enjoy the same excellent food, service and value this time. Next time we're in the area, we will be sure to visit.
Good value for money for the food, £5 for a pint of lager is too expensive
This is our second visit in 4 weeks. The Lunchtime special is a bargain. I cannot understand why the High Moor hasn't advertised it. The food was absolutely superb. Lovely relaxed atmosphere for dining.
I am a regular visitor to the High Moor and the lunchtime menu of 3 courses, coffee and a glass of house wine for £20 is great value. If you don't want the wine you can have the 3 courses and coffee for £18. I know this deal will not be available during December, but i hope it will be reinstated in January. Thank you again for another enjoyable lunch.
Good food at a reasonable price. It was rather cold in the restaurant which was a shame, but despite this I would recommend it.
Never been disappointed yet. Excellent value for great food served in great surroundings by attentive but not over fussy staff. Can't wait for the Christmas menu to arrive.
Lovely relaxing atmosphere, not rushed or hovered over during your meal, but attentive staff. Second visit and will definitely return.
Look forward to visiting again soon
