Food was delicious 😋 customer service was excellent we will definitely recommend.
Your food was lovely and staff were very attentive, will certainly return.
We really enjoyed our breakfast, it was delicious and a lovely day. Dropped a star for atmosphere because we would rather have sat in the conservatory as it was a beautiful day but we were told we couldn’t.
Excellent as per every visit One thing I felt was prices looked higher than normal ?
Such a varied menu. Food was excellent and staff friendly. Definitely be back
Really enjoyed our lunch, the food was outstanding and we all commented on how good it was. Staff very helpful and an all round great experience.
Highgrove is a lovely venue with very helpful staff. Menu choice is excellent and Food is usually faultless! However, only 4 stars this time. We were there for breakfast and as poached eggs were very underdone, with egg yolks very runny and egg-whites still uncooked in parts. Waitress very helpfully took it away and brought another one... but it was just the same! Toast was also underdone and a bit soggy. Perhaps the breakfast chef was in a hurry, as it was quite busy.
Well spaced tables. Excellent service. Payment at table might be better than payment at reception where you meet with people arriving and social distancing is not as easy
We very much enjoyed our lunch here. Despite a very busy car park, there was plenty of space inside for diners to remain comfortably apart from others. Service was friendly and unobtrusive - the dining area overlooking the terrace and patio had a very pleasant atmosphere and we were made to feel welcome.
Impressed with everything in place for covid apart from having to queue up to pay for meal. I’d have preferred to pay at table .
we as a family have been using highrove for many years and have never been disappointed, keep up your already high standards.
Didnt find staff friendly. Out of the 4 meals 3 had to be returned. After leaving restaurant i felt vey unwell had an extremely funny tummy . And yesterday spoke to someone who had been in restaurant at same time and had a prawn dish like myself and had also felt unwell . Felt it was too busy for staff to cope with . Dont think i will be returning anytime soon
A fabulous experience for a 70th birthday treat. Excellent service in trying times.
Great lunch as always. Food and service great.
Everything was excellent as usual. Usually go at least once a week.
Great choice of fish dishes to go alongside meat dishes so no issues for pescatarians amongst our group.
Felt very safe. All staff wore masks and kept as far away as possible. Food good as always
Fabulous dining experience.
Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful attentive staff who are doing a great job under difficult Covid restrictions.
Wonderful mushroom soup, best hotel cooked ribeye steak I have had in years
First time out since lockdown - couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. Food, presentation, safety and atmosphere all first class
You all made our lunch a very safe and pleasant experience. I was with my elderly aunt who is only just getting back out in these Covid days and we couldn’t have picked a better place to be! Back in a few weeks.,
Delicious food, stunning surroundings and excellent customer service
Love it :)
Service wasn’t the best, had to shout someone over to take drinks order as we were all sitting with empty glasses.
