About Herringbone Goldenacre
Two independent watering holes, one in the city and one by the sea. Pouring beautiful local craft beers, a selection of our very favourite wines, and the best seasonal and regional ingredients, served simply.
Everything we stock is here because we like it and
we hope you do too. We have taken great care to
create a menu that reflects our passion for what
we do and the products we love, not to mention
the people who make them
Great food, portions quite small but that is reflected in the price.
Rude staff, long wait time
A bright restaurant with full size windows overlooking a busy road. The service was attentive with a good choice of different items for breakfast. Although busy, the atmosphere was intimate. All in all highly recommended.
It's the second time I've been in, in the last month and the food menu has hardly changed, if at all,.maybe this needs looked at.
We enjoyed a very good value and very tasty lunch. Great to have somewhere this nice a bit out of town.
Easy to book online, great service, lovely meal. Thanks.
Food and drink were excellent and we all appreciated the charm, engaging communication skills and sense of humour of the member of staff responsible for our table. Many thanks to her and to all at Herringbone.
Loved it. Had a great meal and lively night out with our three kids. Service was exceptional.
very attentive service and delicious food with varied menu
great service and good atmosphere, food was very nice and cocktails were delicious. Love the great offers of half price cocktail/mimosa but think wine prices by the glass quite high as i think the cheapest was £4.75. Also the house wine was more expensive than that which was unusual as the house wine is usually the most affordable
Delicious food and a delightful server. Thank you.
Delicious food and great service x
Always love the food and the service is always given with a smile.
Very much enjoyed a Sunday evening dinner with my daughter. Food was good. 5 stars for that, whereas some previous visits have been 4 stars or 3.5.Service couldn't be faulted - our server was attentive and congenial. Mark off atmosphere for the singer guitarist in the bar area. Not that he was bad, just that it was a tad noisy for a Sunday evening!
Great experience, good value for money. Repeat customer definitely.
Lovely leisurely lunch. Good food and children catered for too.
We had a fantastic night out for 32 people, great canapés and prosecco. The area with the high tables is just perfect for this type of function allowing everyone the chance to move around and chat rather than sitting round a table.
Sometimes the food can be hit and miss but last night the food was fantastic! Service is always excellent and staff really friendly. Lovely to have this in the neighbourhood.
So good to have a really nice local bistro.
Service was awful. Had to ask for menus, had to ask if we could order and had to ask for the bill. Service was extremely slow and poor. Potions were small meaning food was on the pricey side. I have eaten here many times before and enjoyed the experience, service and portion size. Unfortunately gone downhill
Lovely evening, great food.
Food service and atmosphere [live music all great no complaints
Fantastic food and great selection of craft beers on offer. Will be back for sure!
