About Harringtons on the Hill
Select the finest and freshest ingredients, prepare them carefully and serve them simply and well. These are the skills learned by head chef Ryan New during his seven years at top London restaurants Langan‘s Brasserie and Langan’s Coq D'Or under the watchful eye of leading chef and restauranter Richard Shepherd.
Couple these exceptional culinary skills with the warm and friendly atmosphere of a small, almost rustic, restaurant and you have Harringtons on the Hill in Kenilworth.
There is nothing pretentious about this delightful restaurant. What you see is what you get - an uncomplicated high quality menu and a warm welcome.
The friendly and professional team can cater for any occasion. There is an upstairs for private dining. Whether it is for a morning or afternoon meeting, a birthday party or even that ultimate special day a, wedding celebration, Harringtons can do it all. A menu can be tailor-made to suit all guests needs and a perfect function can be organised whatever the specification.
Situated in a picturesque bow fronted cottage opposite Kenilworth Castle, the restaurant is the ideal place for a memorable dining experience.
Quite simply great food at excellent value.
Excellent as always
Excellent food, lovely service, peaceful atmosphere! Would highly recommend
We had table last night for our 25 th wedding anniversary it was faultless absolutely the best meal ever The waitress was so calm and polite and very attentive The starter main and pudd unbelievable Gin and lemonade just perfect We come at special occasions Can’t wait after tough few months working on frontline to dine again x
Excellent service. However they don’t have the prix fixe evening anymore.
Lovely meal, great service. Thank you
Excellent food and service, lovely vibe, good value. One of the best places to eat out in kenilworth.
The food was excellent
Felt the table we were on at the bottom of the stairs was not socially distanced from the customers going upstairs
My wife and I have visited 'Harringtons on The Hill' previously and as always the food, wine, service was first class. In our opinion the best restaurant in not just Kenilworth but the whole of the midlands.
Brilliant meal with great service
This is the second time I have been to Harrington’s on the Hill, and everything was perfect. From the service (thank you Emily), excellent food and also the cleanliness of the restaurant. Amazing value for money for 3 courses which were exquisite. There was also less tables this time so all guidelines were being followed by the staff and owners which was lovely especially due to current pandemic, my party felt very safe and could enjoy our time away from home with ease. Again thank you to Emily and her colleagues it was a fabulous luncheon.
Enjoyed a lovely evening, great food and service.
Absolutely gorgeous Sunday lunch. Great service and amazing biscoff cheesecake
Very enjoyable evening, good food. Staff very helpful and friendly. I was being wished happy birthday by my two co-diners as they arrived to take our main order. Later my dessert came with a "Happy Birthday" and candle - a nice touch. We will be back as soon as we are able to do so.
Nice and cosy restaurant, very helpful with dietry requirements would definately reccommend
Went for a birthday dinner on Saturday night - in general the food was very good, tasty and good portions. The specials and the menu were very similar so there could have been a bit better variety, but what they did have looked delicious. They catered for my gluten free requirement really well, lots of options and gluten free bread too. The tables are a little crammed in so the waitress hit the back of my chair a few times during dinner, would be better if they had somewhere to hang coats so there was less bulk on the back of the chairs. the only thing that let it down was the service - very polite and courteous, but clearing needing some training - small things like pointing to our table rather than helping us find it, not bringing drinks menu, picking wine glasses up and to pour wine, not coming to check everything was ok, not refreshing cutlery so we had to ask, not being clear if something wasn't available (no fresh peppermint tea)... very minor things that a little bit of training would solve. For those prices (£15-16 a main course), would expect better.
came for a birthday celebration and food was excellent , there were only 2 other couples there so atmosphere a bit quiet but a very good experience
Lovely lunch and good value for money. Thank you
Great food and staff Made us very welcome Thank you
Great Sunday lunch. Staff very helpful and attentive
Lovely freshly cooked food
Discreet service, lovely ambience and excellent food. We will be back soon.
Excellent value lunch, with ample portions. Willing to accommodate pescatarians, thank you. Would help to stagger bookings at lunchtime as everyone arrived at the same time and caused a few service headaches.
As always, a lovely experience, lunch with a work friend at Harringtons. Service , food and ambiance you can rely on
