About Harringtons on the Hill
Select the finest and freshest ingredients, prepare them carefully and serve them simply and well. These are the skills learned by head chef Ryan New during his seven years at top London restaurants Langan‘s Brasserie and Langan’s Coq D'Or under the watchful eye of leading chef and restauranter Richard Shepherd.
Couple these exceptional culinary skills with the warm and friendly atmosphere of a small, almost rustic, restaurant and you have Harringtons on the Hill in Kenilworth.
There is nothing pretentious about this delightful restaurant. What you see is what you get - an uncomplicated high quality menu and a warm welcome.
The friendly and professional team can cater for any occasion. There is an upstairs for private dining. Whether it is for a morning or afternoon meeting, a birthday party or even that ultimate special day a, wedding celebration, Harringtons can do it all. A menu can be tailor-made to suit all guests needs and a perfect function can be organised whatever the specification.
Situated in a picturesque bow fronted cottage opposite Kenilworth Castle, the restaurant is the ideal place for a memorable dining experience.
Quite simply great food at excellent value.
It’s very tight with the tables we had a 2 seat table which rocked all the way through the meal we will not be eating there again. The food was fine to many tables in such a small space waiting at toilet as other people using it the hole feel to cramped John/ Mandy
We had a huge booking for 34 and the staff were really accommodating and worked really hard to serve us! Food was delicious. Space is just a bit tight but would be good for smaller bookings than ours.
Excellent as always
Excellent food and service
Table was a little small for 4 people and felt a bit crammed in. That is the only thing stopping 5 stars. Lovely though!
The bacon wrapped scallops were mostly bacon, swimming in juice in bottom of dish and was generally unpleasant. Eating the risotto was not an enjoyable experience. The macchiato and small biscuit were good. I’ve been eating at Harrington’s for years and this is genuinely the first time I’ve been disappointed.
Staff were very friendly and on the ball.
More vegetarian options please, otherwise great restaurant.
A very enjoyable evening.
I had beef roast and my daughter had vegetarian roast. The Yorkshire puddings were disappointing and the roast potatoes well certainly mine were inedible. I di mention to the waitress but didn’t get any feedback from the chef However the broccoli soup was delicious Regards Amanda
A very enjoyable steak meal on your Thursday eve specials night. Good value and well prepared food Good quality steak cooked just as we requested. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended.
If I am honest we were slightly disappointed with our main courses. Dessert were very good though.
We enjoyed a lovely birthday meal for my partner highly recommended.
Fantastic meal and lovely atmosphere
Still my favourite restaurant in the world
Yet another superbly cooked meal with special care taken by the staff particularly for my wife’s requirement for gluten free. Couldn’t fault it
Lovely restaurant and always has excellent fish options on the menu - Fishy Friday is a good value. Staff were quietly attentive and it generally have a lovely atmosphere - perfect for 'date night'.
Lovely meal. Food great and service generally good. Bit hot and air con did not work. Tables a little close together.
Lovely meal with family. Two guests who needed gluten free food were catered for with style and great support from the kitchen. Service was great. Will be back!
Great atmosphere. Attentive waiting staff.
A pleasant dinner in a quiet restaurant in a delightful setting near Kenilworth Castle, The food was very nice and the service very attentive. The only negative was a lack of atmosphere due to the restaurant being virtually empty. It was certainly good value for money and well worth a visit.
Lovely family lunch, thank you all at Harringtons.
Decided to spend our first anniversary at Harrington’s. Great decision. Food was fantastic and staff were very friendly and courteous. A wonderful evening. Thanks to all. Nev and Emma
A nice place for an enjoyable meal. Staff were great. Would recommend the Fish and Chips. Thanks again.
