About Hanoi Bike Shop
Nestled away in the heart of the West End Hanoi Bike Shop, the city’s first Vietnamese canteen, brings the colour and vibrancy of Vietnam to Glasgow. Vietnamese food melds fragrant elements such as coriander, mint, Thai basil, fish sauce and shrimp paste with fresh seafood/meat, vegetables and rice and noodles to create the perfect balance of spice, sour and sweet in every dish. It is considered one of the healthiest cuisines in the world.
Our exciting, ever changing menus are perfect for a communal dining experience- share as much or as little as you want, try something new or stick to your old favourites. From pho, the noodle broth that fuels Vietnam to our organic tofu, made from scratch, in house daily there is something for everyone at the Bike Shop.
We offer extensive gluten free and vegan menus and as we make all our dishes to order we can cater to most dietary requirements. Our daily specials highlight the quality of locally sourced produce and add to our myriad of options.
At Hanoi Bike Shop we pride ourselves on offering a casual dining experience with fast and friendly service. Perfect for every occasion we can cater to up to 45 guests in our lantern laden private room and have multiple set menu options and drinks packages available.
Brilliant quality food and service as always - despite the absolute madness outside. Fresh, tasty food and reasonably priced. Best Vietnamese in Glasgow.
great food, would definitely come back
Very authentic Asian setting, the food was delicious, fresh and served Asian style too. I was there with my sister and nephews and had a very enjoyable night. Looking forward to going back. You have to try the Red Dragon Pork Belly 😋
Amazing food, superb staff. Hope to be back soon.
Sharing plates are great but some extra spoons to help transfer to your plate hygienically would be much appreciated
I made the booking for 7, we had two babies in high chairs and were accommodated spaciously upstairs where there were less folk to annoy with babies! It worked well, service was great, food was lovely and the toddler got a runaround without pulling strangers trouser legs.
great meal, reasonable prices and fast service.
We love Hanoi Bike Shop. The food is absolutly fantastic and the staff are exceptional. They're always friendly and welcoming and create a lovely atmosphere.
Brilliant food and service
Great food, great drink, great atmosphere I wouldn't mind an actual chair though, the wee stools were murder in my back
Dinner for two and decided on the “Feed me” option, couldn’t fault anything, team were great and each dish tasted excellent. Loved the Ho chi min mule cocktail.
Wish we could stay longer than just an hour and a half
Amazing food, amazing girls serving and will 100% be coming back again and again, it was exactly like the first time 4 years ago and was so nostalgic, cannot thank you all enough
Fab! Spicy gin drink was lovey. I’ll get the jug next time. Service was delightful. Tunes also on point.
Food was absolutely delicious!
Really lovely food, great atmosphere and a lovely setting. Fab range of dishes on the menu. Perhaps larger groups received more attentive service than us, nevertheless we’ll be back if we’re in Glasgow again
The tastiest meal we have ever had! Defo recommend “feed me” option!
As always, impeccable across the board
Fantastic food. lovely staff. Will definitely be back again.
We came and had the ‘feed me’ option, it was absolutely brilliant! We had more food than we could eat all to the taste that we enjoyed. Would 100% recommend, the staff were excellent!
Fantastic food and service- highly recommended
Was a recommendation from a good friend who has family that live in Glasgow told us we had to visit. Food and service was excellent we will definitely be back as great value.
When we arrived a waitress showed us to a table. I politelyy asked to change table and was met with a very OBVIOUS eye roll from the waitress, despite a good reason for this request. The restaurant was not full, and there were several free tables. Despite this waitresses clear disregard for customer service we went on to have s brilliant meal and were well looked after by her colleague.
Ate from the 'Hair of the Dog' menu on a Sunday evening and quantity and quality of the food was excellent. Informative, friendly but unobtrusive staff made for a perfect celebration for our party of 6.
