Located on Level 1, our restaurant offers diners daily buffet breakfast and an a la carte menu as well as a succulent seafood buffet featuring fresh & delicious prawns, oysters, crab, international cuisines and sumptuous desserts.
Not much food to eat if you need to pay for $69. The only spotlighted food are prawns and oysters only , others are very so so if you say it is a seafood buffet
ran out of our beer we liksd.. A la carte menu not as comphensive as it was on last visit.
really disappointed with the dinner. was supposed to be a highlight of our holiday. we love seafood. the prawns were rubbery. no ice cream. no kids selection. very little for a smorgasbord buffet. nothing like other Novotel seafood buffet I've been to.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was great. We had the buffet - not much variety especially for kids. The buffet could be more extensive and cater for kids a little better.
Food was delicious and fresh. They were quite under staffed, we had to wait a while to be seated then wait a while to pay our bill. Definitely worth booking ahead.
The service was excellent, the quality of food was also excellent I just think a little more variety of seafood would make it better value.
Would be nice to see Roast beef or Roast Chicken on the buffet mains. But overall throughly loved it and felt really nice to know the staff care about those little extra special occassions and brought me out a birthday cake. Thankyou for the awesome experience xxx
This was one of the worse meals we have ever had at a Novotel. We were ripped off so disappointed and it was our wedding anniversary as well. Really not happy
Prawns brilliant. Great service. Deserts acceptable. Very enjoyable.
The atmosphere was very dull and uncomforting. We ordered the seafood buffet but there was only three seafood options; prawns, oysters and mussels. Prawns and mussels were great, but the oysters didn't seem fresh. It was pretty much a Sizzler with fewer options. Dessert options were very limited and there was no ice cream
We had a lovely evening. Food was lovely and good variety. Would come back.
THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT
The service was great. Very friendly staff. The food selection for the buffet was limited and pretty average apart from the prawns, they were lovely. The restaurant itself had a tired feel and was not the quality that I was expecting. The toilets were dirty.

Had a very nice dining experience as expected from an Accor establishment. Friendly, helpful staff and wonderful ambience complement the experience. Food selection great as well. Not much to complain about. Will certainly return.

Too less seafood to choose from. Even if hot food, too less to choose from as well. And can't believe after dining here, there is no free parking offer.
The roasted pumpkin soup must be the best I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The pork was as good as any I have eaten. Thank you.
We found the buffet dinner to be VERY disappointing. It was advertised as "Seafood buffet" and the only seafood was fresh prawns and oysters. There was no bugs no crab and nothing else seafood apart from some smoked salmon. It really was a BIG disappointment. Additionally, the desert buffet was substandard with no ice cream ?? I asked and was told that ice cream isn't part of the buffet and I couldn't order any as a "side" or an extra. I found this surprising as there was jars of M'M's and marshmallows and the kinds of lollies you would put on top of ice cream (for children). The desserts were generally dried out and there really needs to be another means of having boiling water for cups of tea instead of a plunger air pot ?? The water was lukewarm and I had to ask the kitchen to bring me a pot of boiling water. Why can't you get one of the coffee machines to have a boiling water function as well ?? Surely thats simple. It just isn't good enough when you are at a buffet and can't even get a hot cup of tea. I thought for $59 per person the buffet was WAY over priced. Staff were friendly and prompt to clear plates - no complaints there. But overall would only order off a la carte menu if I even came back. I think you could really improve the seafood selection by offering more choice and improve the dessert bar selection to include ice cream and perhaps some cones, fix the hot water/boiling water issue and then you could even put the price up per person, but the way it is - people won't return after one visit. I won't.

Regarding the seafood availability, as well as the fresh prawns, fresh Pacific oysters and fresh Green Lipped mussels, our Executive Head Chef is currently negotiating another variety of fresh seafood with our suppliers and we will soon find out the outcome. Regarding the dessert selection, our new Food and Beverage Manager who only joined our management team last week has already updated our hot beverages selection with two state of the art Nespresso coffee machines and is also talking about refreshing our dessert buffet. On a good note, I am glad that you enjoyed the professional service provided by our friendly team. Nevertheless, I would like to sincerely apologize for your disappointing evening and hope that you will consider trying us again as we are challenging ourselves to improve the overall value of our seafood buffet dining experience.
