Barman made the experience for us! The food was fine, venue was amazing with such a good vibe and the team of staff were brilliant. Everyone had a really good energy which made date night such an enjoyable experience.
I wanted to move in. That’s how good everything was.
Great fun wthout skimping on food quality or service.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. 100% recommended the half duck & special rice. Can’t wait to go back.
Delicious food will definitely be back
Brilliant night, staff were so helpful and the food was so tasty. We are both vegetarians and were spoiled for choice, can't wait to go back!
We had a really nice meal here on Saturday night, we eaten in Hang Dai on numerous occasions and it never fails to deliver.
Fantastic food, savage cocktails and really attentive and fun staff. Highly recommend this place.
Loved the food but it was very expensive so I would come back but it would have to be a special deal.
On this occasion we were using a thetaste.ie voucher so I’ve given 5/5 for value for money however I do find the menu pricey if you were paying full price (as I’ve done in the past). It’s a great spot, very cool. The bar seating works really well too. The food was delicious however my brother and I both had mains dishes that were marked as ‘very spicy’ and neither of them were particularly spicy at all - the cod and kung po chicken. The service was great in the restaurant and at the bar upstairs. I will definitely be back!
Booked and told we had the table from 6.30-8.30 at 8.15 we were told the next group was in and could we leave the table.
Had a wonderful dinner in Hang Dai with my partner on Friday evening. Everything was perfect from the food to the super friendly staff, couldn’t fault a thing, we’ll be back again & again!
Celeriac with chicken skin was the star of the show 😍
Outstanding venue and atmosphere, prompt service and an interesting menu
Had a great night and the food was soooooo good
We had a fantastic evening at Hang Dai. Pre order the duck, it's out of this world. The music, lighting, cocktails, and service all worked in harmony to deliver usa great dining experience on a mini holiday to Dublin.
The lighting is a bit too dark and the seating cramped and uncomfortable enjoyed the food
Incredible steak and pork shoulder
Amazing menu. Amazing food.
Lovely food in a fabulous atmosphere. Staff are very friendly.
Brilliant service, really cool setting, and the nicest whisky sour I've ever had. The duck is a must! Same goes for the green beans. Only small issues were the beef dish felt a bit overpriced for what it was and the cleleriac dumplings were a little odd - very tasty but more reminiscent of ravioli than your usual Asian dumplings. Excellent meal all round though. Would highly recommend to anyone.
The waiter was really nice and the food was perfect. It may be a little dark for some people but I loved the design of the place!
Great food, fast and friendly service. We had the prawn toast, pork gyoza and the half duck - the food was stunning! I would have liked to be able to sit at a table rather than the bar but the place was buzzing so I understand why the tables were needed for larger groups. Well worth going and definitely try the duck!
Hey Guys, Thank you so much for one of the best nights we have ever had, The team is amazing and big shout out to Shane. Than you for everything. Sue
We might be the wrong demographic for this restaurant, mid 50s with a liking for high end food and restaurants. The booth we sat in was far too small for 4 people, we felt cramped all evening. Music was way too loud to allow decent conversation, food was just ok especially at the price charged. When we were discussing the meal afterwards not one of the 4 of us gave it better than 6 overall. Speciality duck was nice but not exceptional, I've had much better at much lower cost. My consistent verdict on a restaurant is how soon would I go back to eat here and in Hang Dais case I won't be rushing back any time soon.
