Around 1760, Stewart Hadskis opened an iron foundry in Commercial Court. He made pots and pans as well as other implements. The business was carried on by the Hadskis family until 1798. In keeping with the rich history of the building, a new restaurant will be opening in October 2013. We hope you will pay us a visit when we open to enjoy this new dining experience in the Cathedral Quarter, Belfast.
Had the valentine’s menu, great value!
Great food. Great service. I've eaten here 30+ times and never a bad plate. I suppose my only reservation is that the interior needs a little ambience. Then you can't always get everything!
We enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be back.
Location and atmosphere were great. Service attentive but not pushy at all. Menu was quirky food was nice but nothing special. Disappointed with dessert.
Had another great meal in Hadskis. I have been a few times now and have never been disappointed.
We had such a wonderful meal. Thank you so much for providing such a lovely atmosphere with brilliant delicious food. We will be back and have already recommended your restaurant to family and friends.
Fantastic meal, the best Sirloin Steak I have ever had.
A must visit !! Stayed in cathedral quarter and this restaurant was our best meal of our stay, great food and very welcoming hospitality
Excellent service and food
Very noisey and price increase in beef courses for two is bit excessive
Food was delicious would recommend the steak
Good service, nice food.I asked for a blue steak which was served rare, I can live with it as it tasted lovely. But you should not charge £9.50 for an Aperol Spritz that has more soda water than alcohol in it - tasteless and super overpriced
We felt the menu was limited with not enough to chose from. We both ordered fish but the portions were small.
Sorry to say but my wife and I have never sat in a colder restaurant in our lives. We had to sit with our coats on the full time. Would have stayed for desert and coffee but it was that cold we went elsewhere. Food was perfect no complaints there but hard to enjoy to be honest. The meal was a gift from our son as he loves you restaurant and maybe there was a problem but no staff seemed to notice people eating with coats on. Don't like giving a negative comment but if it helps for the future of your business.
We were seated at a table right next to the cloakroom which was constantly being opened and meant we were very cold we will asked if we could possibly move as there were several other tables for 4 that were empty at that point but we’re told that wasn’t possible, which we found hard to understand. My main course (grilled cod) was although cooked perfectly was a little bland as was my friends vegetarian dish (Trofie and mushrooms). My other two friends were very happy with their food. I was disappointed with the evening and probably wouldn’t book again.
We were seated upstairs - the room was very cold which really took away from the experience as the food was lovely and service very good.
We had a lovely meal but your restaurant is absolutely freezing especially the toilets
We had a beautiful late lunch meal following a yoga workshop from the flow studios. A perfect location and Delicious food as always. Service was great and friendly. Thanks
Excellent, would highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Food and service was great. Would recommend!
Great for a special reunion lunch. Friendly service.
Too long a wait for our table-30-40mins! Not much atmosphere, stuck at table right next to the door out to the toilets!
great food, atmosphere and cocktails to die for! can’t recommend highly enough and the staff are fantastic!
We had a great team night out at Hadskis with excellent food and service, we will be making a return visit!
