The lamb was extremely good and service, as usual, was top notch
Main meal held under heat lamps too long Meal was congealed and baked
Great service and food - definitely book again
We had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed the food and drink, however the service was very slow, especially when it wasn’t particularly busy that day!
We had a fantastic evening thank you!
Amazing experience Hannah the advents and coordinator was a sheer delight to work with kind regards Lady Denise Hall
Parking facilitiesare fantastic too
I would like to say thank you to all members of staff who worked so hard to make our afternoon tea such a wonderful experience
Second visit; won’t be the last. Hope they keep it up.
Food was just perfect. Justin looked after us very well.
We had a lovely experience despite one poor member of staff. The gentleman who first served us took our order and totally forgot a set of drinks. He said pardon when ordering but didn’t write anything down. Turns out he never ordered them but thankfully another lovely member of staff eventually got them for us.
Fantastic afternoon tea, highly recommend
Excellent food and service. Beef Wellington is simply amazing!
Super clean, amazing staff and made to feel welcome. Would love to come back again someday.
Lovely afternoon tea x the staff made it so special x
We had a brilliant time and the young staff were very attentive.
I was so impressed with my recent visit to Greyfriars. I treated my mum to an afternoon tea there and the food was delicious. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and polite and could not do enough for us. They catered to all of our needs including dietary or food dislikes to ensure our afternoon was exactly how we wanted it. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
Great service and great quality food. Great care and attention to detail
Very delicious meal and well looked after on the day. Ate in the salon. Great service
The staff were exceptional and the food was excellent. Just as I would expect at Greyfriars.
We had a lovely afternoon tea on Sunday 7th April, four friends getting together, ideal. Although reception desk greeted us when we first arrived there was no-one at all to met us when we went around to find our table, had a wait a while and then approached a waiter ourselves. After we were seated, all was lovely. We have been here before and the format of serving tea had changed and I think for the better. Our Tea orders were taken first, then asked if we would prefer our sandwiches to be served first, then our desserts and then our scones, cream & jam. We all agreed. Service was very good with our waiter explaining exactly what our sandwiches contained. We had lots of extra tea, was not hurried at all, even though my confirmation email asked us to vacate our tables at a set time. Would recommend and no doubt we will go again. Thanks everyone.
On arrival, we were seated in the Venetian Lounge and handed cocktail menus. The cocktails were fabulous, especially the Long Island Iced Tea. Upon being seated in The Salon, we were explained of the teas and coffee and mocktails included by Paul? Further down the line, we were actually charged for the mocktails apart from pink lemonade, and only a few were taken off when we questioned it. Service throughout the afternoon tea was lacking, having to leave the room to find someone for more tea. After half an hour there was around 4-6 different staff coming in and out of the room. It would've been nice to have had one person dedicated to our group throughout, or even a handover if their shift had ended. The Afternoon Tea cakes were lovely and star of the show. Overall, it was a lovely afternoon however I think the service levels could be greatly improved with attention to detail. We have previously met Lorna before, who is a credit to Greyfriars however I don't think she was working on Sunday.
We went for afternoon tea for a 50th birthday. We had a number of dietary requirements and they catered for us all with no fuss. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was lovely and very generous portions. We had a lovely time and would definitely go back again.
Lovely afternoon tea and cocktails in the bar with friends! The perfect place to catch up & relax
